I had a really bad experience at Wingstop. The voodoo fries were cold and soggy, and they didn't even include the ranch. The classic wings were also cold and didn't taste fresh at all. The boneless wings were even worse -- super dry and tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time. Overall, the whole order felt old and poorly prepared. I am writing to formally share feedback regarding a very disappointing customer service experience…read moreat your Rubio's location. Our order was prepared incorrectly, and when we politely brought the mistake to the employees' attention, the response made it seem as though correcting the restaurant's mistake was an inconvenience. We were not demanding or disrespectful; we simply expected our order to be corrected. We also politely requested a fountain drink instead of the apple juice that was provided. The juice was completely unopened, yet we were told that it could not be taken back because we had "touched it." Again, what should have been a simple customer request turned into an issue and made us feel as though every reasonable request was a hassle. What was most disappointing, however, was the interaction with the manager, Diana/Diane. Before leaving, I attempted to respectfully communicate my concerns. Instead of acknowledging our frustration or attempting to resolve the situation, she responded by saying that I "just seemed like I'm not happy" and asked, "What will make you happy since you seem like you're just not a happy person?" What made this interaction even more inappropriate was that these comments were made in front of other customers. Being spoken to in that manner publicly was embarrassing, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. I was attempting to explain why we were frustrated, not create a confrontation. As a manager, I would expect her to understand how to appropriately handle a dissatisfied customer, particularly when the frustration was caused by an incorrect order and difficulty getting it corrected. A customer expressing legitimate frustration should not be personally characterized as an "unhappy person." That response felt dismissive and made us feel as though our concerns were not valid and that we were somehow the problem for asking the restaurant to correct its own mistakes. I want to be clear that I am not submitting this complaint simply because our order was wrong. Mistakes happen, and we understand that. What was upsetting was the attitude and manner in which those mistakes were handled. When something goes wrong, good customer service means listening to the customer, acknowledging the mistake, and making a reasonable effort to resolve it. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. From the incorrect food, to the difficulty with simply requesting a fountain drink instead of an unopened apple juice, to the manager's response when I tried to express my concerns, the entire interaction left us feeling unwelcome and as though our business was an inconvenience. I would appreciate it if corporate management would review this incident and address these customer service concerns with the employees and management team involved. In particular, I believe the manager's response and the fact that she made personal comments toward a customer in front of other customers should be taken seriously. Customers should be able to respectfully bring a concern to management without being belittled, dismissed, or made to feel embarrassed publicly. We chose Rubio's expecting a positive experience, and unfortunately, we left feeling very disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to reinforce the level of professionalism and customer service that Rubio's expects from its employees and management. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I would appreciate knowing that this complaint has been received and addressed appropriately.

That's like giving somebody a plate of spaghetti sauce and forgetting the noodles but then just bringing them raw noodle noodles So he said he would remake it. I went back out to my truck. I waited. I went back in and picked it up and it had barely been enough time for it to cook so I was surprised that it was ready. When I got back out in the truck. I opened the lid and it's just fresh pineapple on top that they probably warmed it up in the microwave or something. But this is the same pizza. Highly disappointed.

The Shakey's Pizza Parlor of Palm Springs is located on Avenida Caballeros / Arenas Rd near the light at Avenida Caballeros/ Tahquitz Canyon Way. It's got a good size parking lot. An almost way to big front patio. A big dinning area, plus a smaller dinning room, full salad bar with thick cut lettuce... Definitely could do with some better chopping. A full soda station area, plus tea, beer, no wine. Shakey's also offer shakes and frozen treats. What may throw you off is after your order the buffet is directly next to the front register and leads to the "Fun Stuff" area (aka arcade/game room), where they actually have some more seating in the far corner passed a few of their out of order machines... When we first arrive this area was pretty busy, but eventually calmed down and was a ghost town compared to the rest of Shakey's. With families coming in and out of that side directly where the buffet is setup it creates a bit of chaos. Not the best design plan, but it's Shakey's... Enjoy their hot food, noodles, pizza (including create your own - just ask), mojo potatoes and more. Everything is pretty much self serve, but they do come around to clear things, as well as check on anything additional they can do. It's best to hang on to your plates as they don't really have a great system for this like some other buffet style eateries. Lots of warm open rustic cabin like feels that need some updating and TLC. Big flat screens and solid acoustics for sure for music or sports on the TV. The Bunch of Lunch all you can eat special from 11am to 2pm was/is a good deal, especially with including drinks. Truly hard to beat in 2026 and beyond (for only $20.99 currently). I had all the good veggie friendly options via the salad bar, hot sides (like corn) and more. I don't see Shakey's updating themselves anytime soon as it's more about the comfort and comfort food than the quality. Though I've seen other locations step it up... So maybe they will one day... At the very least have all their arcade games work and food items labeled with a little info. Make it personal with a little care. And when things run out or low, have someone refill/replace in a timely manner. I might stop in again for lunch, a beer or the "funcade," in hopes that all games are working. Nice fun prize center for redeeming tickets/prizes. They don't seem like they have a permanent person for this area, based on need and foot traffic. Overall great for groups and families and a good meal deal. Not the best, but definitely enjoyable enough.
