The only thing that I have ever tried from WingStop were the Voodoo fries- that was until I visited the Hickory location! We decided to order wings with .70 cent boneless promotion they have going on on certain days. I can honestly say if I had to choose between Wing Stop and East Coast wings, I'd definitely choose Wing Stop. They don't charge you for tossing your wings in a flavor, and the chicken tastes just as good as ECW if not better. The sauces/flavors are just OK, but the actual chicken tastes fantastic! My favorite flavor right now is the new Maple Sriracha paired with Blue Cheese dip. If you haven't tried the Voodoo Fries, I suggest buying a large because you won't regret it! I understand the COVID precautions.... When you walk in there is no inside dining and there is a rope that leads right to the counter, no big deal. When I asked where the bathroom was they said it's closed because of COVID. I asked how do customers wash their hands and was told to go across the street to the convenience store as that's what other customers do. So I did. I returned and picked up my food and asked for my drink cup and was told they would get my fountain drink. I asked why and again they said due to COVID. Figure that out. As for the food, it was fine. Or how the wings are really not all that good. My main complaint is that no one wore a mask 11-09-2020, even after I asked if they would they would not. We've heard lots of amazing things about this place. We (a family of 4) decided to give it a try after church. The wings were good. We had the Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, and Korean (can't remember the exact name) they were fine for us and our 12 year old, but there weren't any kids menu options for our 14 month old. So he had a couple of our fries and a couple shredded pieces lemon pepper chicken. We also had to keep getting up for paper towels due to there not being any at the table. The issue was we had to wait 20 minutes after ordering for one of the 10 tables there, and had to rush to them due to other people also waiting for a table. It's an order at the cashier and then find a table establishment. Someone also decided to have a birthday party there so it made it even worse. There was only 2 high chairs so one family had both and we had to hold our wild 14 month old. It's hard enough to eat having to hold your toddler while he eats. It's 18273x worse with wings.
