I highly suggest not going to Hickory for boneless wings. We were served chicken nuggets smothered in sauce as a "replacement" for boneless wings. It was not disclosed upon ordering that they had a shipment issue and the price was not adjusted. This is the biggest disgrace and honestly a disgusting way to run a business. read more

Went today with my family and had a terrible experience. Was ignored by our waitress, she waited on 3 separate parties that got there AFTER us and when i told the "supervisor" she said the waitress was "busy" thats why she hadn't waited on us yet. Mind you the waitress didn't even acknowledge us. I was a waitress at one point too so i understand being busy. However, nothing was said to us, we weren't even acknowledged. Careful eating here. Went Tuesday 12-23-2025 at 1400. You may get sick and get told "it takes 24 to 72 hours for ANY food borne illness to take effect" By Rob the GM. Expensive, even for a wing place. My bill was just shy of $30. We ordered 8 boneless wings, 5 bone in, got two fountain drinks a single side of Mac and cheese. The boneless wings aren't sauced well - way too heavy on some and barely enough on others, and the flavor is just, blah. Doesn't appear to have any seasoning on the chicken or the breading. That's a pass even for my 9yo who ordered them and ended up only eating 3. Mac and cheese was overcooked and covered in so much cheese it comes out in this small sized stiff chunk. She also took a bite and didn't eat that. I had ordered a chef salad as well and ended up returning it. Mushy, mushy Avocado. Chicken wasn't seasoned at all. And was filled with a ridiculous amount of lettuce that was already turning brown. Pass. Both the sweet and unsweetened teas are near flavorless. Pass. Tables, condiments, seating all covered in i dont even know what. I had to use a napkin to wrap around the condiments because of the rough and sticky substances all over them. Sides of ranch? They're going to stick those platic cups that have been sitting in the fridge and on counters right dab in the middle of your food and the ones they don't stick in your food...if they're over flowing and have ranch all over the bottom, they're not going to clean that, they're gonna stick that right in the middle of your table. Just nasty and not considerate in my book. I will say, my dry rub lemon parm wings were delicious. Genuinely good. Well flavored, cooked perfectly, fall off the bone tender. I am really really disappointed that I spent almost $30 on food that was sub-par. I used to LOVE East Coast Wings, but I can honestly say not anymore. Great wing flavor on the honey garlic and wings fried well. Nice atmosphere to catch a game. Had a strawberry lemonade with jalapeño, more spice than flavor, so I didn't enjoy it as much. Fries were hot and delicious. Our server was a bit distracted by the excessive noise of cheer at another table/area. When my daughter ordered sweet tea lemonade mix, an Arnold Palmer, he returned with a sweet tea and a lemonade separate glasses! Then he said, "Sorry, didn't hear you." We absolutely love ECW. Their wing flavors are awesome. We generally get the Kamikaze and Mango Bango wings. You can choose your heat, and we generally go with "Hot." With a wide variety of wing flavors and a menu that includes salads, sandwiches, and a wide array of appetizers, ECW is a great restaurant to take the family or meet friends. They also have a great five wing and a side lunch special on weekdays. They have recently refurbished the interior, and it looks great. Bar area is also good to catch sports and have a beer. Went here last year for a birthday party and it was alright so we decided to try it again. Unfortunately the food here is supbar, we had a burger, quesadilla and a few wings and eh, none of them lit the world on fire. The burger was cooked to death and barely held together, the wings are all batter and no meat, and the quesadilla falls apart when you pick it up. We ordered from East Coast Wings on Saturday 1/26/2019 around 6:15-6:30ish through DoorDash. Delivery time was a few minutes earlier than expected and our delivery man was very courteous and polite. As for DoorDash service there are no complaints except that I could not find a phone number to call when our order was missing items. You have to process that complaint via their website. However as soon as I submitted what was missing they immediately issued a refund to my checking account. My complaint is with ECW's. Our order was missing an entire entree as well as an appetizer. We also had an order for an appetizer of a basket of fries and a side or of fries. Both of these items were extremely cold. It is not the DoorDash delivery person's job to check the order for completeness, it's the restaurants job to make sure everything is included. If the rest of the order had been cold, like our fries, I would have thought that our order sat somewhere waiting on pickup but it was just all of the fries. Therefore I feel that they were probably packaged cold. These are the reasons for only two stars. I love ECW but am very disappointed in them this go round. read more
