I really enjoy Wingstop and all the flavor options make it comparable to Buffalo Wild Wings. The food is tasty and prepared fresh when you place the order. Hot and ready in about 10-12 minutes. Now, for my "beef" I went to the restaurant for a late night munchie on 11/06/2011 and had a e-mail coupon from the Wingstop website (corporate) for 3 wings with the new Louisana Cajun Rub flavor for 99 cents with any order. So I joyfully ordered 10 boneless wings in Garlic Parmesian and Lemon Pepper and then presented the coupon to try the new flavor for an extra 99 cents. Sadly, the gentleman at the front counter said they don't accept the automated coupons that come from corporate with their location address on it. He then invited me to fill out the little slip to sign up for e-messages & coupons directly from their location. So I did and went home to enjoy and savor my delicious wings. I was stoked to see Northlake got a Wing Stop. Everything is cooked fresh and tastes that way. I usually go for the boneless strips, which are lightly battered, fried to perfect doneness, and then smothered in your choice of sauce. If that's not enticing enough, they have fresh cut fries which were perfectly seasoned for my visit, though I've had them over-seasoned at other locations in the past. The counter staff is friendly and the food comes out pretty fast for being done fresh. Unfortunately, the fountain selection is pitiful, though they do have Red Stripe in the fridge. I love this place. The food never disappoints. But they have got to do something about their online ordering because waiting in line to pickup your online order is counterproductive. They have signs all throughout the restaurant saying "skip the line order ahead online" yet yesterday I waited in line for over 10 minutes to pick up my order. And the website said approximately 18 minutes before my order was ready. I showed up 22 minutes later, waited in line 12 minutes and my order still wasn't ready. Okay so I hate to complain about restaurants unless its terrible service. Last Sunday i stopped by just for some fries and cheese sauce and I waited 20 minutes for me to receive them. People that were in line behind me received their order before I did and they were ordering full meals. I thought they forgot about my order! I always drive out of my way to go to this place, never had bad food from here, the local Wingstop by me in Addison IL the food is always dry and over cooked, I live near Wood Dale IL and I am willing to drive all the way to This specific location because of how they are, never had bad food from here as I stated and I enjoy having chicken that's not dry out so the drive doesn't bother me plus reheating them up they aren't over cooked either, they keep the moistness and flavor, 5 stars every time I go in my opinion. read more

I am a high school student. I visited the Wingstop in Northlake, Illinois. I arrived and ordered my food while greeted by a very polite cashier. When I received my food it looked very fresh and up to my expectations. I ordered the original hot flavored wings and I was very satisfied. The fries there are also always my favorite part about the meal. The seasoning used on the fries is exceptional. One issue I found was that the wings were a bit dry and for that reason I had to use a lot of ranches with them. However, the meal was overall very satisfying and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. read more

Typically a great place to eat, with friendly service. Today, I placed an order and wanted to add a sauce, the lady working there at 4:02pm on Sunday 7/19/15 said it would be cheaper to get a 5 strip combo instead of a 3 strip since I'd be paying 1 dollar extra for an additional sauce. I agreed. When I got there I saw that an extra flavor was $.69 cents and not 1.00 and now I was paying 3 dollars for 2 additional strips which I wasn't planning on eating. Up Selling is part of a business, but being honest is important. It truly isn't the $3.00 dollars but the fact that she lied. I went in after driving by many times. I was new to the whole Buffalo wing thing at the time. I was very impressed. Very friendly staff! The owner (or manager) gave helped me with the menu, offered suggestions, and even gave me a great coupon for my next visit. A really good experience and really good wings. I have had original and find them to be fairly mild. So if you are a HOT lover I would go up a notch or two. read more

Food is not bad... However the service is horrible. If you order ahead for a 6:00 pm pick up then your order should be READY at 6:00 not just getting started at 6:00. I placed an order online for pick up at 630. I placed this order art 4:30. At 5:00 I called and changed it to 6:00. When I arrived at 5:55 I paid for the order and still waited until 6:10 to receive my order.. The gentleman that ordered at the register just before I paid received his order before I received live. Ive been coming here for years but I feel that I need to leave a bad review for the last few times I was here. A few weeks ago I asked for hot wings and for some reason they gave me barbecue? I was pretty upset but I still ate them. Came back last night and their fries were soggy and tasted horrible. I've had their fries so much and they always tasted amazing, but not this time. A group of friends and I went to Wingstop on a Saturday afternoon, and as soon as we walked in we were attended by the cashier. The cashier was friendly and nice about giving us time to decide our order. The food, 15 wings, fries, and 3 drinks, was ready in a reasonable amount of time, and was all cooked and served well. I like Wing Stop but this has to be the worst location I have ever been to. We dined in, placed our order at the front desk around 4:40 maybe a few minutes before, only 15 wings all one flavor. We didn't get called for our food until 5:15. The lady at the front desk was very nice despite having to take care of a line in front of her and multiple phone lines ringing. A family behind us watched their kid drop a container of dressing and then all got up to leave, no one picked it up. Another family sitting right next to where it fell watched their toddler step in it and still no one picked it up. Wing Stop is good but not that good for this atmosphere and a 35 min wait. WingStop is definitely one of my favorite places for wings. This place has delicious flavors and you certainly get your money's worth in my opinion. They always give you more than you order which is undoubtedly generous. The blue cheese is amazing here. My preferences here include original hot, parmesan garlic, and barbecue. I've been going to this location for years now and the workers/manager/service have been nothing less than welcoming and friendly. However, after going today, I am a bit disappointed. There is one tall, Caucasian male worker who just looks absolutely miserable. The tone in his voice is unmannerly and he doesn't look like he wants to take your order. I understand that it might not have been a good day for him or perhaps that's just his normal demeanor, but I don't think that attitude is suitable in this industry. The other workers in the back were also rude,ignored me, and gave me an indifferent look when I asked for anything. Even though it was paid for and was sitting on a cart cashier didn't bother to look on the cart until everyone in line was taken care of even though was in the same line. The wings were great and fries are just the best. I got the classic mild wings with ranch and fries with cheese. It does take a while for the order to be done but that's because they make it as soon as I placed an order. The employees were nice they just speak kind of fast but overall their service was good. The reason why it took a while to make the food is because once you place an order they make the sauce and make the wings and get everything ready so it can be nice and hot. read more

I am giving them 2 stars only because the fries were pretty good and the coleslaw was good and reasonably priced. I will probably come back sometime for either coleslaw or potato salad that I I would like to try. The chicken is another story. I did not want much, but the cost for the wings or chicken tenders seemed very high to me. I know wings are usually on the expensive side anyway, so I thought for my first time there I would try the chicken tenders. Mr. Beef and Pizza in Mt. Prospect has very good chicken tenders, 3 for $2.99 and decent sized. I usually would order 6 for $5.98 and get 2 cups of sauce with it. I saw the least amount of tenders I could order was 4, but I did a double-take when I saw they were over $7.00 for 4. I thought, well, I am here, they must be pretty good for that price and why not try it once. They were without a doubt the WORST (can I say that again?), ABSOLUTE WORST chicken tenders I have ever had for 3 reasons, size, price and taste. They were first of all, not big enough to qualify for tenders, at least the ones they gave me. They were more like little nuggets, no bigger than the ones you get at Wendy's. Nothing like the picture on their website certainly. When I got home and saw what little amount there was for that price, I nearly flipped. To add insult to injury, they were dry and very salty. If they were any more salty I could not have eaten them at all. I am used to salty foods, so this was extra salty. Hopefully the wings are better, but don't know if I want to try them anymore. It's usually packed so the line takes a bit of time but its worth the wait. The order itself is very quick. Personally I order the barbecue boneless wings which is amazing with garlic Parmesan fries on the side. I get my order wrong a lot but they happily fix it for you without argument. read more

My experience at Wingstop was great. When I first arrived I noticed how clean and tidy the place was kept. The customer service was superb. I was taken care of immediately and they took time to listen to my crazy order. After 10 minutes of waiting, which isn't long at all for a wing joint, I had gotten my food. The traditional hot wings came well done with extra sauce, just like how I ordered them. I've had wings from all the restaurants around the area and none of them compare to these. There was one thing that confused me though. There was no place to throw out our trash. I quickly learned that you bring it up to the counter and they throw it out for you. The restaurant is fairly new and people seemed to understand that's what they had to do, so it's to be expected. After our meal, the cashier, also the man who served us our food, thanked us for coming and welcomed us back. I would highly recommend this place to any wing lover. read more
