The last few times we've ordered from here it has been such low quality. I get that it's a chain so my expectations are already set. But this is bad. Extra crispy wings are extra soggy, the fries are gritty like there's sand on them, they always always forget things in our bag. So frustrating. The staff is rude. ​Had the worst experience directly with the franchise owner while picking up an online order. Seriously, all that had to happen was hand me my order (which was paid for already), and done, right? Not so. I must've resembled someone he had a previous altercation with, or maybe something else​, because as soon as I walked in the door his greeting was, " what do you want?" I have been going to this locations for many years. The food doesn't disappoint other than an occasional issues with the fries being slightly undercooked to my liking. I have to remember to ask for them to be well done. Lately, the wait time for wings has been crazy. I've gone in at three different times during the day to be told that the wait for a six piece combo is 45 minutes. There is an entirely new crew and they seem to be very inefficient. Not sure if management changed recently or what. There are usually numerous people waiting longer times for to-go orders. Something has changed and not for the better. This is a popular spot, but it won't be if this continues. People will just go to other locations. Is the same manager, Lak, in charge? There also seems to be more issues with the pop dispenser. It's like it's not regularly checked. It's kind of a mess now. And when you use the virtual assistant on the phone to order your food, it always says the wait is 45 minutes. Can Wingstop ever be on time?! I knew there was going to be a long wait when I walked in. Everyone looked at me with pity in their eyes. So many people waiting for their orders. The Manager Stephanie was so nice, They we're busy at the time I came in and I was asked to wait a little bit more I had no problem and she gave me a drink while i wait. I have had my issues with this place over the last few years of coming here, mainly just due to the fact that it always takes forever for the orders to ring up. But I do like the food so I never complained. Tonight though, I ordered delivery with one of their delivery partners. Our delivery driver called to tell us that she went to pick up the order, and it wasn't there. Then someone walked in and said they had taken the wrong order, and returned the bag of food with a tampered seal. They refused to remake the food because of this, and she witnessed them re-packaging the food. I called the store to get their side of the story and they just denied everything and said the order was still waiting to be picked up. I believe that is a big time health code violation, even when we aren't at risk of some random person spitting COVID-19 into our food. I seriously can't believe they couldn't just take the loss for giving our food to the wrong person, and actually accept a tampered food bag to try to pawn back off. This is the worse Wingstop I been in. I know it hasn't been open for more than 5 years. They have gotten my order wrong 4 times! This location is about 5 minutes away from me and i don't like coming here. I go to the Elmwood Park location, which is 20+ minutes away. Wingstop in hillside is a great area to come and hang out with friends, or even have a casual dinner with your significant other. There's sports channels/news playing ahead on the TVs around. You get your variety of flavors you can choose from for your wings, as well as fries, a drink, and they also offer celery and carrots. Of course those things are an upcharge. You can choose from bone-in or boneless wings. I love the Louisiana rub for bone in wings, they are nice and crispy with the dry rub. Although the downside is they out way too much on and its then way too salty and overpowering. However their fries are awesome, sweet and salty. You can order through their app, over the phone, or in person. I've ordered through the app for pick up before and have never had a problem. Their staff is helpful and friendly, the place and tables are always clean. It has a nice, friendly ambiance. This is just your average, small wing joint, definitely give it a try. read more

There are few places as good as this location. The owner lake always is there to help the customers pick out great flavors and he is never just selling for the sake of selling because he warns you if you tell him you can't handle heat on your wings. That's great honesty because I have been to places where other owners will sell to make a buck but this guy is nice. The place is always clean and the employees there always seem to have a smile on their faces. The most important though is the food, wow it's always fresh and hot and tasty.
