Today was a better day! Order was perfect. Called in and food was ready as promised 15 minutes. Carne asada ( they use lomo NOT arrachera ) was cooked and seasoned well. Comes with rice and beans. Steak is topped with grilled jalapeno and onions. REALLY good guacamole and chips. They don't use peppers so it wasn't spicy, which is perfect for me I learned today this location seats up to 110ppl and is rented out for parties for free with food purchase. Absolutely delicious. Honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to in my life! And I have been to a lot! lol. Was greeted by, who I later found out was the owner, when I walked in and the service was sensational! Feels like you are family and music was playing and some other customers started singing karaoke, which was just great! I did visit today, which is Xmas Eve and I came alone and I felt very welcomed and was treated with the upmost respect. I will definitely be back even though I live over an hour away! read more

We got steak and chicken and all the fixings for a taco bar for a family party. Super Taco Express was so accommodating and had everything ready exactly when they said they would. This place should not list itself as open hours that it's not. I'm starving and drove a little out of my way because this was the best looking late night option. Yet, as the photos show, this place closes @ 9 PM. One "Open" sign is dark while the other is still flashing so big and brightly it can be seen from the street. read more

We booked super taco express to cater for our wedding. We served our guests chicken fajitas, rice , beans, salsa and tortillas. Our guests absolutely loved the food and there was even enough for our guests to come back for thirds !! Orlando and his team where so patient, the day of, while setting up we had some issues with the venue and Orlando and his team just worked with the last minute changes the venue had made. They also really tried to work with our budget. We where able to not break the bank trying to feed our 140 guests. I HIGHLY recommend their food but also catering ! read more

I was around the town of elmhurst around 9pm not many restaurants open but I found super taco open till ten. I called and made sure I could dine in. They where very polite over the phone so I stopped by and had a torta and a burrito and the flavor of the steak is good. The green salsa very good but the red salsa is missing something. The horchata is very good and a great price. The prices of food are very reasonable and the place is very very clean and very beautiful inside. Stopped by for carry out over the weekend and had a very nice first time experience. I ordered the flautas and some tacos. The food was piping hot and very fresh. I've had my share of authentic Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The owner, Orlando, was very friendly and made pleasant conversation while I waited for my order. I really enjoyed the spicy green salsa that came with the tacos. The mild red one had a nice flavor as well. Drawn in by the 3 for $5 sign out front, food was good but portions are very small. Bad rating is because as I checkout I'm told my bill is $14. I'm told The special is M-W from 2-6 only. Nowhere on the sign does it say this. The cashier unable to make eye contact calls for the manager, he returns and says steak is not part of the deal. Steak clearly pictured on the sign. My favorite place to grab tacos and horchata during the work week. The pastor tacos are delicious, the meat is tender and the rice and beans are flavorful. I have to be honest, I drove by this place for a couple of years and looked at it as if it were a spitting cobra, then, a friend told me to try it. We have had the steak, chicken, and al pastor tacos. My 13 year old is now obsessed with their al pastor and is trying to spread the gospel to his friends to try it. I ordered the flauta dinner which came with 3 flautas, rice, beans - pretty standard, for $11 something - also pretty standard. The wait seem significant. That would not have been a big deal if the food was great. I ordered 3 flautas - my typical - and was disappointed with what I received. They were dry, didn't seem fresh, and quite small. They seemed to be half of what typical flautas are in size. No guac provided. *sigh* I was bummed since I enjoy Mexican food and this place seemed like a reasonably close restaurant to my business but was not as expected given other reviews. read more

I got three al pastor tacos and carne asada burrito. I literally had a FOODGASM! The al pastor taco meat has a sweet flavorful taste. Tried this new owner- newly renovated restaurant with my 3 girls. Very clean, friendly owners and wait staff, we were the only ones in her on a Tuesday night. Chips were really good, and guacamole made to order was yummy. Thumbs up from my kids for asada burritos and tacos, and my al pastor was lean and perfectly sweet. Can tell they use quality ingredients- will definitely be back! Helpful hint for owner: providing a more pico de gallo salsa would be better then the more topping- type you serve with the chips. I have passed this place getting off 290 everyday..new decor..terrible food. Ordered a steak burrito to try them out. They said ten minutes..so I thought it would be fresh. The steak was truly not edible..thought I got a bad piece but the whole thing was chewy..burnt. I tried the other end but it was the same .. you couldn't even swallow it.
