We ordered through a delivery app for Wingstop's new Thighstop menu. Oh my gosh, I wanted to like this so much, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The chicken was sooooo overcooked and dry that it was like eating super tough greasy chicken jerky or shoe leather. We really could not chew through it at all. And it seems like they forgot to put any salt or base seasoning on the chicken. I have never had any chicken that was this terrible and I've had a lot of chicken! With all the wing places to choose from, Wingstop wings are superior in size, seasoning, and consistency from order to order 2. I'd only say it's worth going on Monday and Tuesday, other wise I feel it's over priced. It's 60 cent wings on those days and it makes it much more worth it. I usually get mild and Parmesan garlic which are both super good. The wings have a good texture and taste and a nice ratio of sauce on it to make pretty perfect boneless wings. The staff are nice but the service is awful. It takes so long for them to be made and even though they are fresh it took 25+ minutes one time to get my Wings, which is way to long g for what I'd consider a fast food joint. This has to be the worst wingstop ever. I live In the Palatine area so this place Is convenient distance wise, but I will be the 1st to tell you to ALWAYS check your order before you leave. Today will be the 4th time I had an order that they mixed up, I was rushing because I was trying to catch the Bears game so I didn't check to make sure It was correct and sure enough when I got home to open the bag It was the wrong order! Wow a employee named Rafael was so rude when I called asking why I was missing food that I ordered for delivery. I paid 40 dollars worth of food and he insisted that I was wrong and pretty much called me a liar. Way to go for customer service. I've given this place two tries. First time I walked in and asked what dry rub seasonings they had. The lady then proceeded to tell me, and I order two of them. When I get home, one of the seasons weren't actually dry rub.. ok whatever, it was good so I moved on. The second time, I called before hand. I was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I get to the establishment in 8, and she tells me it's going to be a little bit of a wait because I arrived early. This makes total sense, so I tell her "That's fine". I'd like to give this place the reward for making the world's saltiest wings. Honestly speaking, me and group of 8 others decided to go eat some wings after a good hour of bowling. Seeing as how there lacked any good chicken places around, we decided to go to this Wingstop after hearing many positive reviews about this place. I don't know how, but whoever that was cooking the chicken managed to ruin 90 wings by making the chicken salty as hell. Another issue was due to how oily the chicken was. By the time majority of the chicken were eaten, the bottom of the bowl was filled with the oil that was used to cook the chicken. Not only was this unappetizing, it was a huge waste of money. The inside of this establishment isn't great either as half of the restaurant is under construction due to there being a yogurt place linked into the same store. Overall, I don't suggest coming here for wings when there are places like Gators Wing Shack just down the road. If you have the time to drive, I suggest going to Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

Decided to stop off and try this place. Have heard of them but this is the first time actually eating there. Restaurant was really clean and well decorated. We got 20 wings and a large parmesan garlic fry do about $22. Wings were really done well. Crispy outside, just enough sauce. We had the Louisiana rub and Garlic Parmesan. Would have both again! As some have noted, it takes a while to have the wings freshly made, so if you walk in, this isn't a "fast food" place at all. We had 4 types of bone-in wings: Regular "buffalo", lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, and Louisiana dry rub. All were good, with the "non-hot sauce" 3 standing out without the need for any dip. It's about $10 for a combo of 8 wings, a dip, a side, and a drink. No celery sticks, though (boo hoo). It's wing stop! What more needs to be said? Their parmesan garlic is much more flavorful than most with sprinkled Parmesan atop the underlying wing which is bathed in sauce and cooked to order. This was my first experience at Wingstop. I called in to put in an order and talked to someone who told me the prices and sizing options of everything they offer there. I told him I wanted to 15 boneless and he told me it would be $14.__ and it would be ready in 15-20 minutes (this guy was mumbling on the phone as well) so I double checked to make sure how long it would take. After getting there 20 min later I go to pick up my order and they ask for my name. The odd part is on the phone I had never been asked for my name and I told them that. Only to find out they had no order for me not remembering talking to me. I called the number back on my phone I had called earlier and it rung the restaurant I was in, so I knew I didn't call the wrong place. There was no apology and they only told me I could place an order there and wait another 15-20 min. (which I didn't have) Nothing was offered to make up for the inconvenience and I still have absolutely NO idea who I talked to at that place. I stopped in to treat one of my employees for lunch at the Palatine Location. We both got a standard 8 piece meal. He wanted a very crispy French fries. Because of the Covid-19 we had to go and eat in the car. After we started eating my helper said that the fries were not crispy. So I went inside to explain this to the cashier. I asked him if he wanted us to bring the fries back in to fry again or what we could do. He stated to keep the fries and he would make another batch. So I went back to the car and had a couple more wings and returned in 5 minutes. When I got back inside there was a new Cashier there and stated that he will not replace the order. He wanted the fries back. By this time I had eaten mine and my helper ended up with nothing. He started to argue with me and said that it did not matter what the other employee had said that he would not replace the order. Me and my co-workers wanted wing stop on Tuesday for their $.60 boneless wing special on Monday & Tuesdays. We only have a 1/2 hour for lunch so we decided to use Door Dash for delivery services. Upon my initial order I realized that Door Dash does not offer the option of selecting the Monday & Tuesday so I backed out of the order and called the store to see what I was missing. I spoke with a very helpful man by the name of Isidro. He explained that the app would adjust the price at the end of the order. Unfortunately, it did not although the order was delivered in a timely matter. I spoke with Isidro again and he explained that the charges on his end were correct. I explained that was charged full price through the Door Dash app and how would I go about a refund. He said that I would need to call Door Dash. I did and what a nightmare. I made a total of 3 calls in two days. They do not understand English enough to even begin to comprehend my situation. I was mislead and fed false hope call after call. I called Isidro again and explained what I was experiencing. He said he would call the owner to approve a refund. Mind you this refund was not something that needed to be provided by Wing Stop. It was Door Dash that fraudulently charged my card and basically refused to refund my money. Isidro has gone above and beyond his realm of responsibility in an effort to make sure that Wing Stop does not receive any negative feed back. In the end result, Door Dash did credit back some of my money which they put as a credit on my Door Dash account forcing me to have to use their services again but it was not the correct amount. Isidro is again going to bat for me to get my entire refund posted to my account. Isidor, is a excellent example of what customer service should be! I cant thank him enough for ending my frustration. Before I came to this location on Dundee, I called twice And to put in my order ahead of time but no one answered the phone on 10/27/21 at around 7:40pm. Since no one answered I figured I'll just order my meal when I get there and wait which is a bit inconvenient. I walk in the place and 2 people are close to the register and no one greets me and then finally a gentlemen asks me if I had a pick up order and I said no I am here to order, so he turns around ana I guess tells the girl who already clearly heard me to take my order. She comes over (I believe her name was Jessica) and was extremely rude, rolling her eyes and acting as if me ordering was burdensome, mind you no one was even in the restaurant so it wasn't busy and she was stacking cups when I got there. I spent around $42 but the rudeness was disrespectful, especially with the fact that I tried to call ahead of time so I wouldn't have an unneeded wait.
