I figured I'll give it a 2nd try ,yet again I was let down . I ordered a ten piece combo meal although the chicken wings and sauce were really good the fry were burnt and extremely greasy. The lack of cleansing in this store is simply downright awful. From dirty tables,dirty greasy floors, dirty bathroom sink ,nasty greasy food trays and dirty main entrance door glass with handprints all over it. That let's me wonder how prep their food. I just ordered from here and spent about 40 bucks. They forgot all the sauces, the fries are salty as hell and the wings are full of oil. Literally had to throw the entire bag away. When I called and spoke to the manager Brianna and requested some kind of refund she refused. She even claimed not to know the corporate telephone number and proceeded to hang up on me. Absolutely horrible. Normally I give places a second chance, but clearly they don't deserve even 1. They have given me the wrong wings on multiple occasions. This is the only wing stop location that is close by. On this visit, the cashier did not greet me. In fact, she had her back turned and had me standing there while she finished her personal conversation. There were 4-5 workers talking, cussing, and laughing while I waited over a half hour for my order. When I received it, the wings were the wrong type yet again. Came here for the first time last night, from Reading. Totally worth the long drive. Easy to park because it's in the Northeast. The place wasn't too busy, so were able to order right away. Ample seating with several large TVs. I got the classic wings combo, half lemon pepper (figured I'd have to give Rick Ross' favorite a try) and half mild along with the seasoned fries. There is a hotness scale on the menu with the approximately 10 flavors to choose from. I don't have a preference, but I saw from looking at the online ordering that you can specify all flats or all drumsticks. You can see the food being made through the window along the side area seating. They don't use heat lamps and everything is cooked to order. So it did take just about 20 minutes to get our food, but it was well worth the wait. They brought our order to the table. Wings tasted amazing, they weren't huge but I wouldn't call them small either. They were nice and crispy, not soggy or rubbery. The fries were like nothing I've ever had. They weren't made from sweet potatoes, but they had this slightly sweet flavor. The seasoning is optional, but I would definitely recommend getting it. I don't usually crave fries or even eat all of them, but I couldn't get enough of these. And fortunately, they give you a *lot* of them. I'm not a dip person, but there was like four dips to choose from as well. Soda fountain was in the seating area so no worries if you go for the "atomic" flavored wings. The price of the combo with a drink was $10, very reasonable imo. Staff was very friendly too, she chatted with us before we left. Felt like a safe area, saw a PPD van slowly cruise past the storefronts in this shopping center and across the street. Wish this place was closer to home but they are about to open a location in Allentown as well. This location has only been open for a month or so. This has to be the worst Wingstop I've ever been to. Let's begin with me calling in to place my order: the staff member who answered the phone, answered it unprofessional. No "thank you for calling Wingstop," hell not even a simple "Wingstop." He answered the phone as if he was answering his personal phone, and proceeded to have a conversation with whoever he was talking to before I called to place my order. Fast forward to my pickup. When I arrived to pick up my order, one of the staff was cleaning out (whatever) from the grease oven with tongs. Once she finished she place the tongs on the side of the trash can (WTF), then without cleaning them off she places them back in the frying basket area. I hope and pray my wings weren't taken out with those tongs, but one will never know. Lastly I ordered a roll to add to my order. After waiting more than five minutes, I inquired "where's the roll?" I was then told they had to make it, so it will take some time. Really!? I requested a refund. This place is a fast-food chain and the service should be fast. I will never return to this location, and I would prevent any potential customers from going. MANAGEMENT IF YOU'RE READING THIS: I suggest you train your employees to operate in a more business professional manner. I've been to Wingstop several times when they first opened up and was always satisfied and happy with the food. I went today and will not be returning to this location! I placed my order over the phone, the lady over the phone had an attitude! I asked for a side of beans with my order and she told me with an attitude they don't have beans (I haven't been here in a while apparently they discontinued that side). I said ok, then I just want the wings, not the combo, she told me then it will have to be 8 boneless wings since it's just an individual order, I said that was fine. I also ordered 3 piece Hawaiian strips combo. When my boyfriend got home with the order, my "boneless wings" almost looked like popcorn chicken! I asked for half lemon pepper half hickory bbq, the lemon pepper were dry and hard. The bbq look like they threw the "wings" in the box and just poured the bbq sauce over top, they weren't even tossed!!! And it was suppose to be 8 wings and there was only 7, and this wouldn't be a big deal if the wings weren't so damn small! I have no complaints about their wings (been here twice & they were ALWAYS delicious & cooked to perfection), however, their online ordering system needs some work. I placed an order (6/10/2017) for my son to pick up while in the area, only to find out their computers were down so they NEVER received it. After sending screenshots of the order & confirmation number to my son, who in turn showed the ladies at the front counter (whom he said was very polite), then the order was placed. This is bad business (the reason for 4 stars). If an online order is placed & a pickup time is given, when arriving to the establishment the customer expects their order to be ready, NOT wait an additional 30 or more mins. That's the reason WHY I order in advance to save time waiting while there. The online system should be configured/adjusted/"tweaked" to know when the restaurant's computers are down to keep from accepting pickup orders. For now, i'll just call beforehand to confirm if the computers are functioning properly before placing an online order...because I WILL be back!! :-) read more
