I ordered a couple Garlic Parmesan Tenders recently and this was the 2nd time where the tenders were barely tossed in with the flavor sauce. Garlic Parmesan is a wet sauce and it was giving very dry. I went in to tell them and was charged $1.61 for sauce that should've been on my tenders. I know they're super busy but please atleast take the time to toss the tenders/wings with the selected flavor. I'm sure your customers will appreciate it... I would.

First time in a long time... new location in Round Rock!

Wing stops are hit or miss these days. At least they are for me. This is a fairly new location. My usual go-to is the one in La frontera but I happened to be on the waitlist for a tire so I stopped in at this location. The service was friendly. The place was a bit busy. Almost all tables taken but there was nice upbeat music playing. The restrooms were immaculate as well. I ordered lemon pepper and mango habanero with sides of ranch. The cashier, Jesse , gave me a drink while I waited. I had called ahead to find out the wait on my order to see if the trip fit my scheduled car pick up time. They didn't disappoint. The food was hot and fresh and flavorful! I will return! Go check them out!

I almost don't even want to post this and let the secret out but this is seriously THE best wingstop in the area. They are ON POINT every time we go. Yes they are busy, yes you do have to wait, but there's an ice cream shop next door you can visit while you wait...as if an excuse to eat ice cream is needed. I will gladly wait for those always fresh, always hot, always proportionably seasoned, all flat wings ANY day! Shout out to the cooks at wingstop! (I literally called once after eating to tell the cook thank you for putting love into my wings). Keep up the good work!

They were playing soap operas on the tele while I enjoyed my original Hot and Garlic parm wings with fries.

I have to give this spot five stars. I have been coming to this location for almost ten years. I have not been disappointed with the service or wings. I love the garlic Parmesan, original hot and lemon pepper wings. On this visit, I decided to try the voodoo fries. Oooo yea! You get the Wingstop fries topped with Cajun seasoning, ranch and cheese. The more fried we are the spicier it got. I loved that! I ordered these to go so I bet it would be even better if I dined there to avoid the fries getting soggy. It was still good. Service is always good here. I've dined here, but mostly ordered the food to go to enjoy them at home. Be sure to download the Wingstop app so you can place your order online and customize the items just like how you want it.

Ordered food at 3:50 and was advised it would be ready at 4:25. I arrive at 4:20 to find out they hadn't even started my order. States they only had one cook at the time. After over hearing them talk it appears my order never generated to the back. It is now 4:46 and I still have not received my food. While waiting I have also noticed they are not wearing gloves as they are preparing anyone's food. Also they have a million flies. It is now 4:51 and I have received my food. This is highly unacceptable.

My girls are begging for anchor wings nightly, the 9yo loves their retrial and the 7yo loves the jerk, I personally love the honey siracha and babe alert ranch. Now the honey siracha, it's listed as like the one of the hottest, no sir it's barely spicy at all, I still love it but just saying. Wait staff is always awesome, friendly and super helpful. Only complaint is we saw they have .99c wings on Tuesdays, it says limit 10, which was perfect for the girls and I since we can't eat more than 6. The waiter said it's a misprint and supposed to say 10 minimum. That was frustrating and sad because we would go every Tuesday if we could order less, 10 is way too much for all 3 of us and all 3 like different flavors so sharing won't work either. Love the hand cleaning station, although it looks like it could use a cleaning itself lol. But 5 stars because yesssss, the food and the service are so good. Wait one more complaint, sorry! The skillet cookie, way too expensive for what you get AND the skillet is tiny it's impossible to eat without getting burned. Knowing it was bringing hot and being careful all 3 of us still left with burns.

The Mango Habanero wings had just the right amount of spice and was not overpowering like some other wing restaurants. Also I rarely eat Ranch dressing with my wings, but the Ranch dressing here tastes much better than other wing restaurants I have tried. Overall a VERY impressive experience and I may need to become a more frequent visitor. I also like the fact this is a veteran owned restaurant, that makes me want to visit even more.

The website paints a picture of a beach‑side getaway: easygoing, flavorful, relaxed. That's exactly why our visit felt so mismatched. My partner and I ordered the Perfect Storm sampler and 10 bone‑in wings, split between Garlic Ginger and Garlic Parm. The wings came mixed with flats and drums, which was fine, but both flavors were so greasy that we had to wipe them down before eating. And not just a little sheen -- I mean the kind of oiliness that dulls the seasoning and clings to your fingers. The Garlic Ginger had a nice aromatic profile underneath, but the fat muted it. The Garlic Parm leaned heavy, with the grease overshadowing any sharpness from the garlic or cheese. The sampler didn't fare much better. The fries were soggy and limp, the kind of texture that tells you the oil temperature dropped or the batch sat too long. The shrimp and mozzarella were edible, but lacked crispness -- everything felt weighed down instead of bright or crunchy. When fried food loses its structure, it loses its appeal, and that's exactly what happened here. From a food‑critic standpoint, the issue wasn't flavor -- it was technique. Grease is a symptom. It usually means the oil wasn't hot enough, the baskets were overloaded, or the fry time wasn't adjusted. When the oil temp drops, moisture stays trapped inside the food, and instead of crisping, it absorbs the fat. That's how you end up with wings that feel slick instead of snappy and fries that collapse under their own weight. And that's where the disconnect with the branding hits hardest. The website promises "hot and crispy wings with a 100% chance of cold, frothy beers," "jumbo‑sized wings," and "an escape from the ordinary." What we received felt more like a kitchen struggling to keep up -- heavy food, tired textures, and none of the crispness that defines good fried comfort food. The frustrating part is that the service was excellent. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind -- the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of before the food even arrives. But the kitchen execution didn't rise to meet that level. When the service is top‑tier and the food feels like an afterthought, the imbalance becomes impossible to ignore. Great people, but the food didn't match the promise or the care they put into the experience. We wouldn't return.

They were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of vinegar and cooked to that ideal tender texture without being mushy. The fried chicken and catfish were outstanding. Both were well seasoned, incredibly crispy, and tasted like they were fried in fresh grease. Every bite was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The baked macaroni and cheese was good, but it leaned a little more toward a Velveeta-style cheese sauce than my personal preference. Still a solid 9/10. I also ordered the Peach Passion Fruit Hennessy margarita, and it was superb. Smooth, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. If you're looking for authentic soul food in Austin, The Rolling Rooster is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be back.

The young lady at the register left quickly when we approached, and when I asked if we could dine in, she told us there was no room. That felt unusual, but we decided to order takeout. While placing the order, she mentioned there were plumbing issues and something was overflowing, which raised another concern about the cleanliness of the environment. She also seemed anxious and unprofessional during the interaction. We were told the food would take about 15 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30-45 minutes. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, especially for the price. The oxtails, rice, greens, and macaroni and cheese were around $36. The okra looked like it had been refried, and the chicken wings tasted as though they were cooked in old grease. The greens had an unusual flavor, and the macaroni and cheese did not taste like traditional mac and cheese. The oxtails were messy but not tender. Based on the lack of professionalism, the long wait, and the overall quality of the food, I do not plan to return.

The fries, not sure if house made but damn did they deliver the bite. Crispy outside and mushy soft on the inside. Can the chicken live up to that? HELL YEAH and moar! The chicken is crispy, juicy, and spicy but not too spicy. Hands down the best halal fried chicken in Austin. My kiddo doesn't like spicy food but he will eat this chicken, taking huge sips of water in between bites. That is a testament to how good the chicken is! As far as I know, this is the only spot in Austin serving Middle Eastern broasted fried chicken. Halal Wings is probably the next closest option but this is better in every measurable way. I think there are just a few standout items here. Besides the fried chicken, I have also heard good things about the Zinger and the chicken tenders. The fries are average but get the job done. That said, the overall dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired. As we were walking in, a guy walking out warned us they are very rude here. Inside the place was empty and remained so, except one other family came in to eat. Most of the tables were dirty. There was only one person working and doing everything so I'm giving her some grace on both the mess and the unfriendly vibes. With that said, the ambiance, cleanliness, and the service do not match the menu prices. We will keep coming back for the fried chicken but definitely not to dine in.
