This is our second time here and the food was delicious, again. Food comes out lightning fast, tastes great and service is fast and friendly. We've tried various things so far Crab Rangoons, spicy beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and the tea. Everything has been great.

Super yummy! Husband and I shared the orange chicken, our son had the seafood soup. Prompt service, family friendly environment.

Got recommended to try this from a friend and it didn't disappoint. Favorite was the Bo Luc Loc by far. Service was friendly and food came out fast. Portion was decent for the price. Unlike other Vietnamese restaurants, this place seem to have more authentic dishes and not just pho. The menu was massive. Will definitely be back to try their noodle selection.

Hung Ky is probably the best sit down Vietnamese restaurant in the Austin area but they get four stars because the portions could be bigger (especially given their location). The Bo Luc Lac Shaken Steak was solid. The Thit Kho Trung Vietnamese Braised Pork Belly and Egg was deliciousss. I would absolutely come back just for this dish. The pork belly was tender and not too sweet. I also appreciated that Hung Ky wasn't too heavy handed with the fish sauce. The Muc Rang Muoi Squid Seasoned with Salted Pepper had a good flavor but the batter was a bit thick and not "crispy". I've had better elsewhere so probably wouldn't order this again here at Hung Ky. The Rau Muong Xao Toi Sautéed Water Spniach was perfect. No notes.

This plate was so delicious! We found Hung Ky off of Yelp while we were in the area and it turned out to be such a great find! We did not dine in, we ordered online for pickup. Food came out hot and service was friendly at pickup. Order was ready in quoted time. We will definitely be back!

Amazing experience! Came here for lunch and was very happy with everything. The food came out quick, hot, and delicious. It is obviously that they cook everything to order and all the ingredients were fresh. The service was outstanding - felt like going to a family restaurant where they really want to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the meal. For example, they brought out gloves, crab claw crackers, and plates to discard shells - all without us asking. Love this place and will come back again!

I've been around eight months now. I've only been to a few Chinese restaurant. I found this one on yelp. I went in and it was wonderful. I had a modified beef and broccoli. I asked for three out of four on the spicy and it was awesome. Had a chicken egg roll for an appetizer. A Diet Coke. 21 bucks. Great deal the beef was really good quality in the beef and broccoli. I was very satisfied. It will be a repeat spot for me. It's in the same shopping center as Pokey Jo's and Mr. Gatti's.

Excellent and authentic Vietnamese in the Round Rock area. This place would fit in perfectly among its Vietnamese peers in Houston or Los Angeles. Lured in by the great reviews, we were not disappointed at the comprehensive variety of Vietnamese dishes that could be had here. On this particular night, I enjoyed an appetizer of banh kot, and a main meal of soft shell crab with rice and veggies. Overall, I would not hesitate to come back any time I am in the area.

I ordered delivery from Hung Ky Asian kitchen. Everything arrived warm and delicious. My husband loved the general tso's chicken. The crab Rangoon's were delicious. The portion sizes were wonderful. The pork spring rolls tasted very fresh. We will absolutely be ordering again and again. Can't wait to try different dishes.

They have an EXTENSIVE menu. Literally every banging viet dish is on this menu. Service is fast and when we went there wasn't a wait! Let's keep this small business in business please! From what I heard, same owns as the com tam food truck on dessau. Egg rolls were not my favorite bc they had the taro/potato mixture inside. However I know a lot of people who love this type of egg roll. I just ordered the wrong one bc they have 2 types of egg rolls!!!! Things to order: Spring rolls K15: catfish clay pot C5: rice plate with grilled pork B2: vermicelli bowl with grilled pork Bun bo hue: viet beef noodle soup

Rice, spice and everything nice. I had lunch at this spot today. The server was nice. The food was fresh and good. Quiet place inside. The extra perk was that they open up early and offer an all day menu. They also offer a lunch special menu and live seafood in a tank at market prices. I tried the spring roll and love the fact that we can order it without vermicelli noodles if requested. The spring roll was fresh and good. I ordered the salt and pepper squid and even tried some of the chicken rice plate. The salt and pepper squid arrived golden and crispy. The dipping sauce that came with it was nice. The chicken rice plate was good. Meat was grilled and the broth on the side was tasty. It had a different flavor profile than pho broth I am used to, but still really tasty. I love when restaurants include a broth on the side for rice plates. I love a good broth! We will definitely come back again to try more dishes.

Had high hopes for this Vietnamese restaurant but left highly disappointed. The menu (several pages long) offers so many options to choose from that it could be overwhelming for some folks. One dish/appetizer that is rare to come by in Austin is banh bot chien and I felt like theirs has potential to be great if it was less eggy and more crispy. I've been searching high and low for a delicious hu tieu combo and I wasn't impressed with the one they served me. The sliced pork had a strong unpleasant aroma as well as the shrimp. The fried pork fat and fried shallots should have given the dish that "umami" flavor but instead tasted like it was fried in old oil. I felt underwhelmed eating this dish and could barely eat half of it. My friend ordered the bun bo xao and didn't like it at all. She said the high amounts of sliced bell peppers (which traditionally is not found in Vietnamese cooking) over powered the entire dish.

It's a 10 months since I've been to Hung Ky and I was pleasantly surprise to see they had added more dishes to their menu. The service was great and once you order the food came out pretty fast. For their lunch special they no longer do the $10.99 for pho. That was a lunch special they did when they first opened. Their lunch special is only for Chinese food but by reading the menu I don't think it's $10.99 either. I was happy to see they had tables filled for lunch rush. I got there around 12:30pm on a Monday and most tables were filled. I ordered: * Bun Bo Hue: 3/5 the broth was missing something. I am not sure if they used the pho broth as the base for the BBH but I could not taste the lemongrass in the soup. The meat toppings were on point with the pork knuckle, 1 square of pork blood (it was over cooked and hard in texture), and the meat was a bit chewy. I asked for shrimp paste on the side because it needed something to make it taste like BBH. Noodles were cooked good. I just wish there were more noodles in the bowl. * pork and shrimp eggrolls: 1/5 All you can taste is taro stuffed Eggrolls. I could not taste the pork or shrimp at all which is a bit of a let down. It was more taro filled. * salted fish chicken fried rice: 3/5 I appreciated it was not super oily fried rice. I felt the salted fish was behind the back wheel which I wish it was the front driver. I did ask the waitress is the salted fish amount a decent amount. She said they put a little bit. I told her I like the salted fish to be strong in the rice. She smiled and placed the order. Chicken was juicy and wasn't dry. When you reheat the dish the chicken does come out dry. I notice the lobster tank was empty and there were mostly just crabs in the live tank. I was hoping to order the tamarind lobster but they were out. Do I recommend this place? Even though the items I ordered didn't work out I felt the service was great. I still recommend Hung Ký. Skip on the Eggrolls and if you are in a pinch craving Bun Bo hue, then this is where you get it. I will be back to order the pho, rice dish, and lobster to see if it's still the same.

Safe to say, this place has texas sized portions! We will definitely be back cuz I always crave pho when it's rainy season. Get the large size as it seems to have more surface area for the crispiness.

The bowl itself came loaded with meat--they definitely weren't skimping to save money here. The meat-to-noodle ratio felt great, and every bite actually had substance instead of leaving me fishing around for toppings. As for the broth, I landed somewhere in the middle. It wasn't quite as clear or light as I personally prefer, leaning toward a fattier, milkier undertone that almost reminded me of a Vietnamese pho take on tonkotsu. The flavor itself was undeniably very good, but the richness may have been a bit too much for me personally. One way I usually judge how much I love a pho broth is whether I want to sip the bowl down to the very end, and this one wasn't quite light enough for me to want to do that. I've had richer and deeper pho flavors elsewhere, but I still appreciated the flavor profile here and could absolutely see why this place is so popular. It feels hearty, comforting, and satisfying in a way that clearly resonates with many people. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the atmosphere ended up being surprisingly pleasant. Service moved very quickly, which honestly impressed me given how busy everything felt. Even with the crowd, I didn't dislike the spacing or setup at all--the restaurant still felt comfortable, and the sound of people enjoying their food all around added to the lively, welcoming energy rather than making it feel overwhelming. Overall, Pho Phong Lưu ended up being one of those places where I completely understood the hype, even if it didn't become my personal favorite pho spot. While the broth leaned richer than my preference, I still enjoyed the experience and definitely look forward to trying other dishes next time.

The inside was vey inviting and tastefully decorated. We had the Beef Bulgogi Bao, this was really yummy. The bao was soft and delightful. The beef had a sweet bulgogi glaze that worked really well with it. The rest of the toppings added a nice balance without overpowering the meat. My only wish was that it was 4 baos and not two since they are so small. The highlight was the Firecracker Shrimp. Be warned this is not a spicy dish like you might think from the name. The crispy shrimp was crunchy and not soggy at all, it felt pretty clean and not greasy. It came with salad, rice and a spicy soy sauce and it was just so good. With 12 shrimp, it's definitely shareable between 2 people. Lastly we had the Vietnamese iced coffee which was $6. It tasted like Ovaltine and was mostly ice with just a few sips. I wouldn't recommend it unless the cup size is increased or the price is decreased. So overall, it's a bit pricey. The menu was also a little confusing. We checked online prior to coming and they had a lot of stuff but when at the restaurant, there were only a few items listed which caught us off guard. We actually ended up ordering the wrong item (firecracker shrimp when we actually wanted dynamite shrimp, ultimately it worked out cuz it was delicious but the problem still stands). So those are the only cons I can think off. Other than that, The place was fantastic. Did not think Hutto would have a place of this caliber.
