I have to jump through leaps and bounds just to get this done I spoke to the manager at the restaurant and the culvert operation is order ranch sauce called the restaurant and they will change it to hot sauce. I asked, even though I placed order and you said it was being prepared? He answered nonchalantly, "we didn't know fryers would go down." I asked for refund, he went to tell manager, she came back up front, began processing refund, said it will take 3-5 business days to go back to your account. I stated that it was a bit upsetting since I ordered online, arrived a minute prior to pick up time and now would have to wait an hour...once again same flat, non-empathetic response, "our fryer went down, we didn't know they would", that's why we are giving you refund. She stated, we turn the fryers on at 8pm. ??? She turned screen to show me she had entered it. I asked if I would get a receipt to show refund was processed, she said no, it just shows you. I handed her my receipt and requested that she put her name & amount of refund, she did, and walked away. No apology, no comment, no eye contact. Just rude. Rude employees, sad. No wonder such low reviews here & why they are hiring. Franchise owners need to hire & train staff in customer service. How could this have been handled differently? 1. After determining fryers out, seeing amount of people standing waiting to order & waiting on orders... A. Manager could have come to front, made announcement with apology, stated amount of time projected for order (1-hour), asked if anyone would like a refund. B. Manager could have made announcement, apologized for inconvenience & offered free drinks and/or discount for next order C. Manager could have done both A&B, and placed sign on door to indicate to other potential customers that they would likely not receive food they were anticipating. Let me say, the food was good. We got boneless wings and thigh bites, fires, and rolls. The 2 star rating was strictly about the staff and atmosphere. First off, I ordered on line for a pick up. The wings were good, but I recommend calling in your order or ordering online. The place is pretty small and the tables are VERY close together - makes it hard to navigate, even for a thin little guy like me - LOL! I had the "original" wings and the Cajun wings. They were both pretty good. The only thing I have to complain about is the pressure you feel when you walk up and order. "How many wings, regular or extra crispy, what flavor, what side sauce?!?!"
