I was looking for a pleasant place to take my mother as she wanted catfish and saw the photos of the food. When I came up to the place it wasn't a sit down place to eat, but that you have to order which was confusing as there were a lot of other restaurants within the small space. There was a guy there that was picking up wing and he stated that they were the best and big pieces. So he showed me how to order. And I place my order as it was Wednesday dollar day for wings so I order wings. I had the parmesan garlic, lemon pepper. Let me tell you they were so good, the wait was too long but worth the wait. A true gem! This is my fourth time eating here and each time they knock it out of the park! Whenever I'm in San Antonio, I have to eat here. The texture of fish is crunchy on the outside with a flaky, meaty texture on the inside . The wings are fried in a way that's just right. They are crunchy and the sauce adheres so well without making them soggy. The green beans, red beans, and wedges are great options for sides to accompany the fish and wings. Food was excellent. The issue is the location. It's really hard to get anything like SERVICE from anyone. It's a multi-restaurant location but no one actually works the front desk or door. So you basically have to order your food online and they deliver it to a locker where you pick it up. Very strange. My husband loved the lemon pepper catfish and chicken wings. He said it was well seasoned and he ate every bite. With that being said, I was the one who ordered and picked up the food and baby, let me tell you... I was SO confused! I drive up and yes, it's in a sketchy looking neighborhood. But it's food so I don't care. I'm getting it for my husband. It is a virtual restaurant and that totally threw me for a loop. I've never done this before but when I went in, it was only men at the kiosk and no one tried to help me. I sat back and was trying to watch but the men were standing in front of the kiosk, blocking them so i couldn't just walk up. I spoke into the air that it was my first time here and I didnt know what to do and was promptly ignored. Thank God for a guy who I assumed worked there because he came from a mysterious orange door. The wings were delicious, but the wait was very long. They give you a time frame or when your food will be ready, and ours exceeded the time by a lot. When I called the restaurant, the person on the other line was very nice and helpful though. The food is worth it though. We also loved the $1 wings Wednesday. The parking is horrible because people are impatient and it seems to be a door dashers paradise. No one greets you or assist you with the tablet that you use to pick up your order. Each order comes in a quantity of four . Tried the OG Wings, lemon pepper , flava of Asia and the gold wings . The eggs rolls were sooo good! And don't get me started on the wedges. Amazing food! My husband is from a small town by the Louisiana border and he said this is the bed red beans and rice he's ever had. We always get a side when we order. We are usually here a few times a month. The fish and chicken is crispy and tender. They put the right amount of spice on everything. My favorite wing sauce is the gold sauce. It's a mustard based sauce but honestly you can't go wrong with anything you order. It is very easy to order online and just pick up your food in a designated locker.
