I will never and I mean never eat here again let me start by saying. They need to take a day and go retrain mainly over sanitation. Wingstop has some pretty craptastic reviews, so I am eager to post a good one for them. Although our cashier was kind of a space cadet and we thought our order was going to come out all jacked up, it didn't. Everything was correct, every employee was very polite (yes ma'am, no ma'am), and food came out quickly and it was hot, hot, hot! I just don't think I should have to repeat myself a bazillion times when giving my order. Also, is it not possible to get my name at the end of the order, instead of just the very beginning, so I'm not interrupted mid order to provide my name and then stand there like a dupe waiting for the ordering process to resume while the cashier types my name without ever saying a word after that? Are you done typing? Can I go now? Weird process. How about just assign me a number? Anyway, as I said, the rest was great. We got 8 pc bone-in wing combos: hot original x 2, Louisiana Rub (my favorite), and Atomic (not as hot as they used to be). Some of the wings were ginormous! Birds on steroids! We contemplated going all the way up to 46 tonight or even to the new Blanco location off of 1604 because we consistently get our orders incorrect at this location but as I was having my mother pick this up on her way home from work, we decided to make it easy for her. Upon arrival, I asked her to go in and speak with someone to make sure that the wings were prepared well done. We have been told in the past by the manager of this location to ask for the wings to swim for an additional six minutes and that's exactly what she asked for. We are less than a five minute drive from the restaurant to preface. Upon arrival, the wings were soggy and wet. I had to put them in the air fryer, which completely burned and eliminated any seasoning on the wings. We ended up throwing them away and I called to let them know that I was disappointed. The manager actually denied that I had requested well done when my receipt clearly shows that my family pack and individual combo both had well done listed as a request. Not only that, like I said, my mother went in and asked that they make sure that these wings were well done. We are not a soggy skin family. Bone-in wings tasted rancid, were poorly cooked (not quite undercooked, just completely squishy on one side), and some of them had feathers on them. The feathers and rancid taste say more about Wingstop's suppliers, but this specific location could have done a much better cooking the wings.
