    Cheese enchiladas with onions

8 out of 10. Appetizer of cheese queso with beef was pretty good. Chicken Monterrey was good but super small piece. Cheese enchiladas were so-so. Borracho beans were meh. Chile rellenos was pretty good. Rice was outstanding, Chicken Tortilla Soup was also terrific. Lemon drop martini was also amazing. Katelyn D was our server and she was the best!! We'll come back and try a few new things. I will say while it is beautiful inside, it is sooooo noisy!! The acoustics were awful we were practically yelling at our small table of 3 to be able to hear each other! Also wish they had an online reservation option.

Discover this new place last week when a friend invited me to join her for dinner. I'll start by saying this place is huge; Lots and lots of space. Menu was extensive with a lot of selections, and prices were actually pretty reasonable. Our server didn't go out of her way for us, but was friendly and food was prompt. Food was regular Tex-Mex fare, but a good portion and enjoyable. It will be a spot that I will visit again.

Came in on a quiet Thursday after a friend recommended. They sat us immediately and the restaurant itself is big with a more modern setup and lots of natural light. Our waitress was so polite and prompt. The food was hot but not scalding. I really appreciated the intentional plating and smiling staff at every turn. Food was well seasoned and a hearty portion. We'll be back again.

Building inside was beautiful. Food was awesome, service was fair but the front door was covered in handprints and the front walkway was littered with trash and beer bottles informed the two ladies at the front desk and they went out and looked at it and did nothing and this was lunchtime on a Wednesday

My first time at Papa Nachos, and might as well be at the new location! The space/ambiance overall just felt huge and modern. Such clean vibes and lots of seating all around which is great when this place gets busy. I met a few of my girlfriends for lunch while our kids were in school, and yes why not, we got some margs to enjoy our kidfree time. We ordered: House Margarita Mango Chamoy Margarita Hibiscus Margarita Birria Taco Plate Fish Ceviche appetizer Double enchilada plate Chile Relleno plate Loved the fish in that ceviche! So tender and lots of flavor!! the Birria tacos were flavorful and meat was so juicy!! Our server also offered 2 types of other salsas to try and wow, I love them both!! One of them was definitely spicier, which I did enjoy (I love my spicy!!)! That mango chamoy marg was so good!! SO good that I ordered 2 of the large!! haha!! Our server was attentive and was prompt with bringing our food and drinks in a timely fashion. He even helped taking a group pic of us which we rarely even can get any shots of just us vs kids always in there some how! Would definitely be back to try more of the options available!! Parking: LOTS of parking (at least from what I can see while we were there during lunch time)

Wow! We tried the new location and will be going to often from now on! Tons of seating, nice bar and lots of natural light. There are a couple rooms to the side that can be used for event rooms. They have a huge patio off the back, so looks like they'll add outside seating at some point. And the patio is facing a nice landscaped area and not facing the hwy. The hostesses and waitress were very attentive. Great service! We ordered the chicken and beef fajitas and the shrimp fajitas. Huge portions and super fresh! Love their little serving platters that have drawers for tortillas underneath. They easily substituted my beans for grilled veggies, which were delicious! Had to add a margarita and we were not disappointed. Everything was fantastic and we can't wait to go back! The sign out front says best fajitas in town and we do not disagree!

This is a fantastic new location!!! I can't get over how well it was designed, both inside and out. Everything we have tried has been great!! But one thing really stands out... Believe it or not, this is one of the top 3 chicken fried steaks in the entire city!!! The jalapeño gravy makes it even better!! Highly recommend!!

We visited their new location last night and was thoroughly impressed!! The interior is HIGE with a great bar area and what appeared to be large doors opening onto a patio. The service was a little slow, but they were slammed with a 20 minute wait. Our sever was friendly and efficient. Management came by and checked on the table twice, which was nice. The menu and the quality of the food remain top notch! I had the shrimp diablo and my wife had the chili reallno. Both good as always.

Everything was phenomenal. The best fajitas! The margarita was a frozen mango margarita with a chili lime r, which was delicious. The Queso poblano appetizer is phenomenal. The nachos were great, and the fajitas cooked to perfection. This is my go to for fajitas & chicken quesadilla. I do not care for the refried beans because they don't really have much flavor but they're chow beans are full of flavor (kind of wish they smashed these as refried beans), and the racist flavorful. I highly recommend to try it out.

This new location is absolutely beautiful! Plenty of room to withstand the weekend crowds. Staff was on it from the hostess, servers, and the expo everyone was so friendly. We ordered street tacos and were delicious, queso was amazing, and dare I say my husband said the fajitas were better than Lupe tortilla Highly recommend to visit this place!

I went to the new, larger Papa Nachos restaurant in Leon Springs for lunch. I believe the restaurant has been open about a month now. It's a beautiful new restaurant. Big parking lot too. I have heard it gets really busy, especially in the weekends. I looked on Open Table and their website, but didn't see an option to make a reservation. Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon with a party of 3. We had a wait of about 15 minutes. We sat near the back of the restaurant, great ambiance. Big menu with various options and had lunch specials. Good service. Queso was a big portion, as were all plates. Everyone enjoyed their food.

To anyone who wants to try this location, I will recommend to order the Calle de olla for coffee. If you normally drink your coffee black then I do not recommend it because it is a bit on the sweet side. But they do offer regular pot coffee as an option. (The sweetness caught my mom off guard). Taste it before you add anything to it. I also recommend trying the small conchas-they came out warm and ready to eat! This was only my second time going to this restaurant but both times I have had good experiences. Parking is a little odd. There is parking in the front and parking in the back.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
