Overall 3 Stars First time online ordering and eating their food. 4 Stars for Mobile app. It was easy to use. Lots of options and had some deals. I ordered the 50 piece chicken where you have options of Boneless, Traditional (Bones) or Mix n Match. I opted for the Mix and Match This particular order gave me 4 sauces, 2 Large Seasoned Fries, 2 Large Veggie (carrots, celery or mixed); I chose more fries cuz' we had veggies, and 4 salad dressings. Food: 2.5 Stars Though the chicken was hot and fresh, the sauces were bland. I selected the Garlic Parmesan (dry) and Plain (boneless) for kids, Korean (wet) and Hot and Honey (dry). The boneless breading was ok but the bread to chicken ratio was too much. I The garlic Parmesan had the most flavor of the three options. The Korean was more sweet than hot and I thought the Hot and Honey was a wet sauce. Plus, both flavors were not hot or considered mild. The seasoned fries were good but had too much of the seasoning. Definitely need a beverage of choice to cleanse the palate. As one of the side order option, I choose the Cajun Fried Corn. Sliced cob of corn deep fried and seasoned with Cajun flavors. The was the best item from all the dishes. The price was comparable for the amount of food ordered. 3.75 Stars - Service: the online ordering said the food would be ready within 15 minutes and I arrived on time. However, it took another 10 minutes to complete the transaction. Because it was late, the employee automatically gave us a Large Seasoned Fries for free. Which was very kind of him. 3 Stars - Ambiance - the small restaurant has only a few tables where you can eat inside. Also, they are a cashless restaurant so make sure to have a CC or Debit card. Cashless establishments help to reduce theft (internal and external) and able to log and view transactions a lot easier. So, would I order again, probably, but I would stick with the Traditional style and would review the sauces a little more carefully. Enjoy read more

I get there and after waiting for 30 minutes they tell me they can't do all flat anymore didn't get a refund for the extra money spent on all flats. After another 30 minutes I finally got my wings. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! Ordered online. Upon arrival the RUDE af employees acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. After waiting 20 min someone asked "what we wanted" and when presented with the order number and order receipt finally said "oh ok"..and walked away. 45 MINUTES LATER!!, while having watched 6 other customers come in, order, and get their food. Our food was finally brought out. An order for 4, 2 of which were missing completely, and not one other item was correct. When corrected the employee rolled their eyes and mumbled "f*c*in' white people" to my 16 year old daughter!! I attempted to place a to go order a couple of years ago, attempted being the key word. I didn't realize that I musta been the only person ever to call in an order. Seriously, they didn't seem to have a clue. So I ordered a sampling of wings since I was unfamiliar with the menu. Also ordered some potato salad and beans. The wings were ok but salty, the potato salad was crunchy, crunchy, the beans had a slight hint of kerosene, Inedible. When I wrote a review to corporate, I used my instructor email. I was told that: 1. They had the best employees 2. I didn't know how things worked in the south. ( I have lived here for all my life) 3. The Food here was Great! I loved their boneless wing meal deals they offer. The customer service was great. I love that it was under $30 for my family of 3. Also, I had a delicious tender meal combo! Wings are good but when ordering online I normally end up having to wait an additional 30-45 minutes from the estimated 13-18 minutes. Also service is normally awful and the syrup in the drink machine is always too low. There are too many other wing places to settle here. And to make matters worse, I guess they ran out of boneless wings and fries so they went to Kroger and got chicken tenders instead. read more

If I could give this Wingstop on Hwy 12 in Starkville a zero, I would. The food is subpar however, the service is so unprofessional, the atmosphere is unpleasant and the staff is gross. They have a drive through window that is never available, with a piece of paper taped to the window that says come inside. I went on a Sunday and both of the guys who were working were in the back for like 5 minutes there was absolutely no one ready to take any orders. This used to be my favorite wing spot in Starkville but the past year it has gone way downhill. I typically always place my order online which is pretty easy. Be prepared to wait an extra 45 minutes to an hour in addition to the 13-18 minute wait they tell you online. Today, I ordered a 6 pc boneless combo with fries. I was checking out Wingstop's online site and noticed they offered online ordering. I thought great, I'll give it a shot. Placed my order, put my credit card in since they require payment for online orders, waited the 20 minutes or so the site said it would take, drove in and around to the pick-up window only to be greeted with a sign taped to it saying the window was closed and please come in to pick up orders. Ugh! I parked, went in, waited my turn only to be told that the online orders "just came in" (is that code for we just saw it??) and I could wait for my order. I asked how long of a wait and was told 10-15 minutes. Frustrated I said no, I want to cancel the order. Had to get another worker(possibly manager?) to eventually figure out how to give a refund for an online order. While standing there waiting, the first worker told me I should call in next time to see if they received my order. I told her I should have received a phone call that my order was not going to be ready on time! I left there and DROVE THROUGH Zaxby's and thoroughly enjoyed the meal from them!! I will say it was a Friday night and very busy, but if they're not ready for the rush they should do some more training AND shut down the online ordering until it is fixed! read more

Last year I made an online order to WingStop. Not only did the order take twice as long as it said it would to be completed, but I only got 1/3 of the things I ordered AND PAID FOR. When I walked in, all of the workers were sitting down & on their phones. Upon asking about where the rest of my order was, I was told that they were "out of" the rest of it. I explained to them that I PAID for the food that they were "out of," and the workers told me they couldn't do refunds. I paid $14, which is a lot for a college student, for some cold soggy fries and a horrible experience. After continuously asking for a refund (which is NOT like me) they said that they would take my contact information and give it to their manager in the morning. I returned to WingStop for the next THREE days to inquire about my refund, and every time they made excuses about why they couldn't give me one. I finally decided it wasn't worth it. Ordered the all in bundle, it comes with 16 wings(either bone in or boneless) and 6 tenders and an order of fries. So I get there after waiting 20 mins and they tell me that they don't even have boneless wings in stock(this is after I had waited 20 mins and prepaid) so I have to wait another 15 mins for them to replace the boneless with bone in, then I left and realized they had forgot to give me my fries. So I have to turn around half way home and go back to get my fries, which took another 10 mins for them to make. So basically they charged me for something I didn't even want. Not to mention the lobby and bathroom was disgusting af, literally water all over the lobby floor and human waste all over the toilet. This place really needs to be shut down. All the wings are made fresh to order. Friendly staff. Order takes about 14 mins so if you're on your lunch break call ahead for pickup or download the app and order online. If you're into dipping sauces their chunky blue cheese is my ABSOLUTE Favorite.. I wish they'd bottle it and sell it!! read more

The wings are pretty darn good, and the sauces are great. The reason I can't give it more stars are because the online ordering is a joke, and on one occasion our wings were so salty that they couldn't be consumed. I understand mistakes happen, and the salt thing only happened once out of 20 times we've been there, but the online ordering has never been fixed. You place your order, specify what time you want to pick it up, and they proceed to completely ignore that order and make you wait 15 minutes when you get there anyway. I've saved giving them a review until they were open for a good while. It's just common sense to not judge a restaurant in their opening months as they break in staff and figure out the flow. As they have progressed my experience has gotten better each time (with only the most common of dining mistakes in between). Their chicken is cooked thoroughly, with a crispy layer of breading on the outside if you get the boneless or strips, and the classic wings are just the right amount of crispy/juicy. Once they add the sauces you can get the normal amount of soggy that comes when you coat a chicken wing. Some places make the breading too thick and crispy so the flavor just sits on the outside, but the breading for Wingstop allows the sauce to soak into it a little, a quality not for everyone I have heard, but for me it's delicious. My top 3 sauces are as follows: 1) Garlic Parmesian - Powdery parm sprinkled on a garlic coated wing is awesome, especially dipped in ranch. 2) Teriyaki - Tangy, sweet, all in all a great flavor to break into your taste buds. Every wing place has it and it's hard to make it not work. 3) Lemon Pepper - It's lemon pepper. Haha. You know what that tastes like. Add that to chicken with a light glaze and it's a great flavor. On to the sides: Their fries are to die for, seasoned with a salty-sweet mixture that works well when you dip them in the honey mustard or homemade ranch dressing. (I'm not a big fan of blue cheese, but I hear for those that like it that it's delicious as well). The BBQ Baked Beans are cooked with some sort of whiskey (I wanna say jack Daniels?), and it gives it that familiar tang, but no worries to parents as the alcohol has been cooked out leaving only a hint of the original flavor. As with any wing place they have carrot sticks and celery, not that they need a review since it's really really difficult to mess up celery and carrot sticks, but I put them in here because it should be noted you get rather long pieces to work with and dip. The potato salad is pretty great, I noticed once in a while the actual consistency and ratios of ingredients can change, but that is most likely because it is made in the back and they utilize multiple cooks with different styles. Oh, and the rolls. One word: amazing. Another word: buttery. One last word: fluffy. All in all I say they've done good in inserting themselves into the Starkville food market, with quality service (as long as you're a quality customer. I'm talking to you impatient people out there, haha.) and quality food. I still go to other places for chicken because I enjoy variety, but Wingstop is still on my top list of chicken places in Starkville. My only real complaint is that they need more flavors... and a better napkin system. Haha read more
