Me and my boyfriend went in after we picked up wings with an order of beans that tasted a bit off. At first we felt we were being blown off when we talked to a young lady over the phone that didn't seem to take us seriously, but as soon as we went in and talked to Jackie that changed. She listened to our complaints and verified that we were in deed correct. She handled the situation in a very profesional manner which is rare to see in franchise businesses. I personally love a good plate of chicken wings and even demanded years ago that they be served at my wedding as an hors d' oeuvre. I have tried many types of wings from all across the United States. Some people like to collect little silver spoons and I like to try different chicken wings...it works for me okay! Well I love here in Yuba City and have tasted many of the wings at out local eateries; Happy Viking (8/10), Chili's (7/10) Applebees (7/10), Happytime Bar (8/10) and various other eateries and pizza delivery services. So it should be no surprise when I say that I was ecstatic to see a Wingstop open in town. I had never been to one of there stores before, but I figured anyplace that specializes in chicken wings and wings only is a place that I'm going to love. The other evening my wife was out and about running errands and called me to ask if I was interested in some dinner so I asked her to stop by the Wingstop and pick up some wings. "Bring home a variety...no make it a plethora of wings I told her". She agreed and then the waiting started. The dog and I couldn't wait for her to get home. I knew that in her hands would be hot, crispy golden fried chicken wings smothered in delectable sauces that one could only imagine (Yes that is food erotica deal with it). The dog knew that I would let her lick my fingers when I was done. Hey, no one said this was going to be petty. So my wife arrived home and opened some small rectangular containers which revealed the chicken wings to my eagerly awaiting and hungry eyes. My first impression was somewhat that of an early eights iconic fast food commercial, "Where's the beef"? In this case the beef was really chicken...well you get the point. To my surprise and at first what I believed to be a joke, it appeared that my fife went to 'Squab Hut" and brought home some bulimic pigeon wings that had just flown in from Tijuana! These things were tiny I tell you. I'm a big guy and many things look smaller in my hands ...go ahead insert your juvenile Lisa Lampeneli like insult here! Truly they were small wings which may have led to my next issue, the meat on the wings. The wing meat was meat crunchy as if they had been reheated in a the fryer no less that three times or the wings were forgotten about and pulled from the hot oil just a nick of time before they would be classified as official petrified food stuff. Not even the sauces applied to liberally to the wings could help......oh yeah the sauces. I found the sweet hot sauce to be overly sweet and the buffalo sauce was Ehhhh. I was not impressed at all by the lemon pepper concoction. Overall I was really disappointed. You would think that if you were a restaurant that only did wings that you might want to serve the best wings in town/ Well the Wingstop in Yuba City does not serve the best wing in town (so far that honor would go to the Happy Viking), Wingstop doesn't even serve a mediocre wing and as a matter of fact, I would rate their product less than that of Pizza Guys wings and that is saying something. I hope this review has helped out and I really hate to say these things, but bad food is bad food! PS: My wife informed me the staff was very friendly and the service was good! Horrible service. A handful of employees in the place not a single one of them knew what they were doing. After the employees trying to figure out how to put our order into their system. We waited for 45 minutes until one of the employees came out and retook our order. When I asked if the order had been started or not I was told no and that they were about to start it soon. When I asked to just cancel the order and be refunded the employees had to call someone to walk them through canceling the order. read more

Place is good and all, but I don't like having my fries all over the bag either happens every time. I tell them every time and still the same thing. Plus they put there bare hands on the dressing cups while they place them in the bag which are touching my fries. Very unsanitary if you ask me. I haven't really tried many flavours I usually stick to the standard hot buffalo and it's great, they will even cook them well done like I like them. The Louisianans and Cajun was cayenne pepper seasoning only the honey BBQ was more vinegar than anything else but the sauces were red not the rub of course. I will not return. We ordered the wings for take out. First off the french fries were under seasoned and over cooked. I could stab you with the french fries we had last night. The wings weren't any better. They were very dry and extremely under sauced. It was the first time we have tried this Wingstop. My husband said it looked like the owner or manager had made our order. It was my first time eating here last Saturday. My family ordered the 30 wing family meal which came with a drink and side of fries. My kids loved it but after the flavor of the wing, the wing tasted really dry and chewy to me. Some things they need to improve on: napkins on tables- they have a huge paper towel roll on the counter but it's kind of inconvenient to keep going up and getting more napkins. Second- I like to toss things such as dirty napkins away and there isn't a trash can inside. Third- for a family sharing a meal, we weren't handed any plates or anything to pick and choose and eat from so we ended up using our napkins so that was not very convenient.
