It comes with habanero jam, and the sting is to convince you that you're clearing your arteries rather than clogging them. I got the tater tots -- precisely at the peak of tot crispness -- and regretted not trying the hash browns, as my lunch companion's hash browns looked delightfully crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. We came here on a Friday at 6pm. We had a large group of 18. Our server was attentive and took great care of us. I personally ordered a western burger and paid extra for a side salad and upgraded to garlic fries and a side of sweet potato fries. About the food....the western burger was FANTASTIC! Perfectly cooked with crispy bacon and onion ring. The BBQ sauce was good too!! The garlic fries-a huge disappointment. It was a decent sized portion but hardly any garlic or Parmesan. The sweet potato fries also a good portion and cooked well but little flavor. The side salad, again a good sized portion and plenty of onion, tomato, cucumber and croutons, but there was a lot of slimy red lettuce (yuck) that I needed pick out :( The thousand island dressing was good. Another big issue was they didn't honor the Yelp check in discount of 10percent. Server contacted her boss and he said never heard of it. Pretty disappointed about that. We got takeout, so please know that I can't comment on the ambiance, from what I saw during pickup it's a super fun and chill atmosphere. Some issues with the order: we ordered shrimp and fish with onion rings instead of fries, and what we got was only shrimp, and fries instead of onion rings. If we didn't get charged for the onion rings as an upgrade it would be fine, but to pay $3 and not get it is disappointing. Also, I essentially got shrimp and chips, but paid for shrimp and fish w/ chips which is a dollar more. So, $4 of the service that didn't get fulfilled. Also, the wrong side was given to my grandma's sandwich as well. We also asked for extra sides of ranch and bleu cheese and were willing to pay if necessary, but we did not get the ranch at all. Taste of food: not great, but not awful either. I feel like for the price we paid it should have been seasoned more overall, but it wasn't so bad that it was inedible. I've came here since it opened and this last time I went I was pretty disappointed. Nothing seemed fresh and well prepared. -Wings we're soaked in sauce and super salty! Both were suppose to be a bit sweet but tasted bitter and the basic veggies that come with it were not fresh at all..the waitress ended up bringing us new celery. Ok ... so don't let the location (strip mall) fool you. We stayed in Yuba City because we were going to see a concert at the Toyota amphitheater looking for a place to eat dinner. We came across Midtown Grill on yelp. I read the reviews. Everything looked good. We were a little bit skeptical because of the location however, we were not disappointed at all. ! We all got different things, and everybody was happy with their meals! I wish I would've taken pictures, but I did not. I highly recommend the pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was great and toasted on the sourdough bread was perfectly done.! If We are back in this area. I'm sure we will return to this restaurant. read more

This is a hole in the wall type of place, the onion rings are huge and a good bang for your buck. I've tried the sandwiches and they are really good. The only one that I was disappointed on was the tri tip one. It had only small pieces. I wish I would of taken a picture but it wasn't worth the $17. This place can be hard to miss in the evening if you aren't looking for it. I came here for a quick meal to go. After placing the order, it took a very long time to get my food. Something like 25 minutes. By that point, it was so late and I was so hungry I was gnawing away at my knuckles. The food finally got boxed up and I checked to see that I ordered a ridiculously expensive $16 Patty Melt w/onion rings. After taking my first bite, I thought it was pretty good. However, I noticed that the size of typical sourdough bread is an ovalish shape, but the patty was square. So the patty stuck out of the bread like it didn't belong there and there was all this extra bread that the patty did not touch. Though the meat was a thick patty and everything else was pretty good, I couldn't get passed how much it cost for a patty that never touch either side of the bread. My family and I visit Marysville/Yuba City every couple of weeks to visit my dad and try and find a new place to eat each time. We were in the mood for burgers last night and decided to check this place out! Upon entering, it was pretty busy, but we were seated right away and the bathrooms were very clean! Our server (who's name I didn't catch) was very nice and personable and so were the other women working behind the counter. It just felt very welcoming and friendly! We ordered the Hot dog and Fries for my daughter, my dad ordered the Pork Midtown Street Tacos, my husband ordered the Wow! That's Hot Burger with Beer Battered Garlic Steak Fries and I ordered the Singin' the Bleus Burger with Beer Battered Steak Fries. We loved it all! The burgers were nice and flavorful and the fries were so good! My daughter's meal came with a Fruit by the Foot which I thought was very cool and it was a nice incentive to make her eat her food! They have plenty of TVs for game days/nights and great drink specials and I got 10% off on my order for checking in! They have Happy Hour from 3pm-Close Monday through Saturday and all day on Sunday! We came here as a party of 6 a little after noon on a Thursday. It is located in a small strip mall. The place has 12 or so tables with some counter seating in the front window. It was about half-full but we were seated right away. We checked out the menu at our drink order taken and place our orders. We ordered random sandwiches such as Burgers, patty melt, and Philly cheesesteaks. I chose a Philly cheesesteak with fries. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and everything looked really good. I thought Philly cheese steak tasted delicious. All of us in our group were pleased with what we ordered. We've been here a few times now, we've tried a lot of things on the menu. The sandwiches are the best thing, that and the bottle caps for an appetizer. One of the waitresses we see a lot is super nice. The food tends to take awhile sometimes. The service could be better. Trying to get a hold of them is frustrating on the phone sometimes but I think it just speaks to popularity.
