The food here is genuinely excellent--some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Atlanta. The skin is incredibly crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken is clearly butchered and cooked with care. The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. The Chicken Bee - Korean style chicken opened in Roswell two days ago, and it's a true treasure. I stopped by tonight for takeout and ordered half a chicken origin style and 10 wings half soy garlic and half honey garlic. The wings were definitely good, but the original fried chicken was amazing. The chicken tasted hot and fresh with crispy flavorful skin on the outside and super juicy meat inside. Three cheers for chicken cooked right! I accidentally stumbled upon it while make a stop near by. It is almost hidden at the end of the row of storefronts. One can order just as you step in the door or get a table. I sat myself but maybe you are suppose to wait to be seated when it is busy. The menu goes in a lot directions from soup to appetizers to a whole or half chicken... I was there for crispy wings! There are several flavors and I asked the server for help. She wasn't a spicy fan so she steered me towards the garlic and honey/honey and soy wings. I ordered the small, 6 wings. The pickled radish was my side- you can choose a can of soda or cole slaw . Out came a small dish of the pickled radish followed a little later by 8 wings. The server explained that they typically have jumbo wings but that's not what they had today so they added another one to make up for it. That's a 5 star review right there! The wings were hot out of the dryer, perfectly seasoned with a sticky sauce that wasn't coated and drippy but rather just the right amount for a great meal and not 50 napkins and new shirt. I'm normally not going to go out of my way to leave a review, but I had to today! First off, the ladies were super nice. But they also gave me a heads up that it would take 15-20 min because they fry everything from scratch (whole chicken). The wings and other things don't take as long. But they were nice enough to let me know. And also gave me a heads up to call ahead next time so I don't have to wait. :) I had no problem waiting though. I'm quite familiar with Korean fried chicken and I know it takes a while. I brought the food home and first off, my husband and I were both surprised that the wings and chicken were still crispy and not soggy! But on top of that, everything was so delicious. We got the creamy onion whole chicken and the soy garlic and the honey garlic wings. The chicken is VERY NICELY marinated and it was super moist. We typically went to kimchi red but recently their prices have gotten really expensive and their larger pieces were coming out dry. I'm so glad I found chicken bee because it's only 10 min from my house and they're cheaper than what we're used to paying for Korean fried chicken. Chicken was decent but I really can't believe what they charge for the half chicken. They must have the smallest chickens ever because the half chicken portion is really enough for one and it's not cheap. The hot and spicy sauce is not hot at all but I could get over that. Honestly, I think you're better buying a mixed chicken box from Publix then buying the sauce you want for chicken bee and pouring it over it the chicken from Publix. Simply the best chicken wings - bone in and boneless I've ever had. The quality of the meat is excellent and the cooking matches that. No tiny drumsticks or wings here. The boneless wings are chunks of white meat chicken. The fried chicken is also amazing. We've dined in and done takeout. We had the calamari (dine in) and they nailed it, perfectly fried. What a great Korean Fried Chicken place:) Here's the highlights: *We had a waitress, yay! We didn't have to order at the counter. *They bring you water in a cute jug. *They have beer, a double yay! Unexpected at a casual restaurant. *They gave us some free shrimp crackers while we waited. *Everything was fresh and cooked to order. *The Boneless Wings with Soy Garlic sauce was excellent and perfectly cooked. *The Half Fried Chicken on the bone was flavorful, super moist and crispy. You can get double crispy if you want. The breast and thigh pieces are cut in half so that makes the cook time faster than traditional fried chicken! *The Cajun Seasoned Sweet Potato Fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside (Seasoning was optional). *The sticky white rice was just as you'd expect and very hot. *Plenty of Food, one meal is easily enough for two meals. *Service was excellent. The waitress who was probably 16, knew all about the menu. A rare bonus these days. *They have a small cylindrical refuse on the table for bones.
