Well, okay then JJ. I can see why people were running in and out of here with bags of food. The main area is an open space with the order counter and a few chairs and table to sit while you wait. Good luck with a seat because they were crowded. There is a small area around the corner and side if you want to dine in, but most people order to go. One lady had a large covered foil pan of something that I wanted to know what was in there so badly, but I didn't ask. She looked happy with her bounty as she walked out the door. The other people looked like regulars, so I was eagerly anticipating what I should order and how it would taste. I decided to stop in for a taste of fish. I was hoping they had something more than just catfish or tilapia which are two types of fish I typically avoid. JJ actually had a variety of fish from Red snapper to Flounder and they also have scallops, shrimp, oysters, crab, and I think lobster on their menu as well. The prices are extremely affordable and they give you a nice portion for the money. When I walked inside, there were people lined up along the wall either waiting for their order or waiting to order. The service was quick and friendly. The food is made fresh to order. I ordered the whiting and scallops combo that came with fries. There were five large scallops that were lightly fried and the meat was tender and not overcooked that will cause a rubbery texture, but not at JJ's. The fish was fried hard and d crispy and they had at least four large pieces in there. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be back when I have a taste for seafood and I want it fast.

Burnt to the crisp okra. There was no inside in it. Sooo hard, I couldn't eat it. It was greasy toooo

Food was horrible- burned okra, unseasoned fish, cold but I guess Service - the lady with braces was super nice- other lady was talking loud about somebody being jumped at work, in her phone laughing (everyone else was laughing too) being unprofessional (i know why) Ambiance-NONE I wish we would have cooked at home! Sadly I did not check my food-so I couldn't take it back. Once we arrived home we both were disappointed Everyone can't cook... they didn't prove that they could tonight I really want a refund Don't eat here, it's not quality

The service was very quick even though they were busy. And the food was still hot and fresh. I will be back if ever in the area.

The food is always fresh and is fairly priced. My family enjoys picking up food from here. My favorite is the fried zucchini.

Three cheers for chicken cooked right! I accidentally stumbled upon it while make a stop near by…read more It is almost hidden at the end of the row of storefronts. One can order just as you step in the door or get a table. I sat myself but maybe you are suppose to wait to be seated when it is busy. The menu goes in a lot directions from soup to appetizers to a whole or half chicken... I was there for crispy wings! There are several flavors and I asked the server for help. She wasn't a spicy fan so she steered me towards the garlic and honey/honey and soy wings. I ordered the small, 6 wings. The pickled radish was my side- you can choose a can of soda or cole slaw . Out came a small dish of the pickled radish followed a little later by 8 wings. The server explained that they typically have jumbo wings but that's not what they had today so they added another one to make up for it. That's a 5 star review right there! The wings were hot out of the dryer, perfectly seasoned with a sticky sauce that wasn't coated and drippy but rather just the right amount for a great meal and not 50 napkins and new shirt. What a gem! They are doing it right!

The food here is genuinely excellent--some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in Atlanta…read more The skin is incredibly crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken is clearly butchered and cooked with care. The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. Just be prepared to spend a bit more--and maybe come hungry.
