Disappointed by the lack of professionalism and structure. I arrived for my scheduled appointment and witnessed a situation no client should ever be exposed to. While in the middle of servicing her own client, the owner was loudly confronting and removing one of her technicians -- right in front of me and another client. The owner's behavior was unprofessional and lacked discretion. The shop itself was disorganized, and there were no other workers except the receptionist. The overall energy felt tense and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I was unable to receive the services I booked because the technician was being dismissed on the spot. This experience was uncomfortable, poorly handled, and far from what I would expect from a client-facing business. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

I got my lashes done by Katie on Monday and she did a beautiful job. This is my first time getting them done with her and at this studio and I couldn't be happier. The process took about 1.5 hours. I had also came in before to get Gel-X nails done (also by Katie) and it was A+ work. I'm happy with Katie. Wynter did a quick fill on my lashes and she was kind and able to squeeze me in for about 10 minutes bc my lashes had unusual fall out due to the weather (aka the rain). I've only used this place for pedicures and while the quality is very good, I'm disappointed in the way this place is run. First of all, it's always SUCH a long appointment. Pedicures always take just under 90 minutes. I just don't have that kind of time to get my toes done. It's a luxurious experience but it's not easy to just pop in and be done. However, the reason for my 2 star review is this - they're NEVER open. You have to make an appointment in advance - fine. I can do this. However, they are currently only taking nail appointments for during the day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I can't make this work. While I work from home, because the service takes over an hour, it's just too much time out of my workday. It is impossible for me to continue using this place. I hope that in the future they get some nail techs in that work most days and that they can offer a quicker service. I shouldn't have to spend more than 45 minutes for a regular pedicure and I certainly shouldn't have such a hard time scheduling one. For now, I'll be going elsewhere. read more

I've been going to Wink by Wynter since last year when they used to be located in Cypress and honestly, getting eyelash extensions literally changed my life for the better in my opinion. She's the sweetest person to talk to and literally takes really good care of me ever since. She's done so many different styles on my throughout time. Rescheduling is also very easy as well since they are really nice about it if you give them a 48-72 hour notice! Pricing is also affordable. Especially for a college student like myself. They also do stamp cards for every 6 session, you'll get your next session 50% OFF!!! That is definitely a steal!! I booked online and was set to come at 11:20 am upon arrival I was greeted by a young lady ,I stated I was there for my lash appointment at 11:20, note I did arrive 4 min late which I apologize . The young lady then proceeded to ask me my name i told her it was Mara , she checked me and asked if I had filled out the forms that had been texted to me . I told her no . She then texted them to me , it took me about 5 mins to fill out and then I met the lady who would be lashing me ( Katie) , she greeted and ask me what kind of lashes I would like. Side not * I forgot to mention I booked myself for a Mega volume, because I usually go with light volume or like a little more full volume. When I met Katie I showed her a pic of what I usually get which is light volume and I told her I would like to do maybe a little more full today but not the mega volume that I had originally booked myself for. I also told her the length I like and from there we proceeded to getting me into the chair. After an hour and a half she was done , she handed me the mirror, and they were pretty dramatic more than I usually get but I was fine with it . We went to the front I paid with my card and tipped on my card as well and left . My lashes on my right side were really bugging me . As soon as I got home I got in front of a mirror and examined them , the edge of my lashes had become a huge cluster and it causing a lot of weight . I called back and Wynter answered i told her that I had just gotten my lashes done there with Katie and that I had a huge cluster at the edge of my lashes. I asked her if she recommended if I brush them out or something? She seemed bothered, she told me Katie was busy , that Katie would reach back to me as soon as she can . Which she did , she called me shortly after . I told her what was the problem , she agreed that I could come in so she could look at them and fix them . So day 2 of coming back. She saw the cluster and said it just had been the bonder or something didn't dry correctly , she then takes out the cluster (didn't use remover or anything). And said she would put fans that are smaller at the edges . She did them and said she would swift through the rest of them to make sure I didn't have any more clusters . She finishes them hands me the mirror I look them great, I thank her for fixing them and leave . Again as soon I get to driving home I feel a weighted on my eye still. It's really bugging me I get home again the corners are bugging me. I decided that I need to take the edges off I look in my mirror and in the place we're the cluster once were I had my lashes broken in half and she placed 2 fans in the same lash. I was mortified that's why my lash are hurting . I took of the 2 fans that were placed on top of each other and felt relief on my eye . I then examine the rest of my eye and I have clusters throughout my eye ( which she said she would fix) . At this point I'm over it . It's Monday now I wake up and my lashes are still bugging me ( i will be getting them removed)I decided to call for a 3 rd time , at this point I just want to let them know that this lash job was unsatisfactory. I called in the morning Wynter answered again I explained to her everything that had been going on with my lashes within the 3 past days. I said I would like to receive a refund because the lashes are not properly isolated and I have fans on top of fans . She then said how would I know ? I then told her that I myself am certified to do lash as well ( mind you I never said I did it for a living) after that it was kind of a blur , she asked me why I had not stated that I was a lash tech when I went to go get my lashes done and I told her that I did not have to say anything to her as I do not do this for a living but I am certified, so in my mind I'm basically stating I know the lash job was not done correctly. She then proceeded and said I was threatening her because I said I would write a yelp review if I didn't get my refund . In my defense i said I would like to get a refund , she said no so then I said I was going to write a yelp review letting people know my experience. She then proceeded to tell me she was going to find out where I did lash , when I clearly told her I don't do that for a living, and she said she had all my information and that she would find out what salon I work at . Like I said multiple times by this point I dont do this for a living , by this point she just going off I can't remember exactly what else she said , but she said also that i must be asking for" A REFUND BECAUSE I DONT HAVE MONEY". Did I mention I tipped ? And also that she will be getting her lawyer on me ? I don't understand how the situation escalated but at the end I feel highly offended and will not be recommending anyone to come here.pI will just let the pictures speak for themselves read more

This was my first time getting extensions in a while and I couldn't have been happier with the results! During the whole process, Wynter was super considerate and made sure I was comfortable with everything. She sincerely takes into account of what look I wanted to go for and genuinely works to achieve it. STAY AWAY from WYNTER. She is rude, and unprofessional to say the absolute LEAST. She took my $$ and did the WORST job ever. My lashes started falling out in my car. It was awful and I had to attend my MIL's 70th bday party w 3 lashes on per eye that were turned and it was just the worst lash job ever! I looked like i had been plucked like a chicken. I called her and she agreed to "see what she can do". I get there and I get in the chair and Im detailing to her how embarrassing it was for me. She jumps up and gets on the defensive and tells me that she DOESNT have to do ANYTHING for me and If I want I can go down the hall and get my lashes done over there...she walks over to the door and opens it. I remind her that she took my $$$ and didnt deliver her end of the bargain....long story short, Katie who I think may be her Mom started telling her to chill out. I said, look, all I want is for you to remove the 3 lashes that didnt fall out so I can be normal again. I am not rven asking you to fix them. Just remove them...PLEASE! Whats done is done, I cant go back and redo this party, just take them off for me.She obliged only bc KATIE suggested it. Afterwards I thanked her (ugh, for being a decent human being) bc she obvi couldnt come to that conclusion on her own. She is arrogant too. No humility and no desire to rectify the situation and ZERO customer service skills. I had to remind her that it is NOT right to take people's hard earned $$ and willfully not deliver a service she was paid to provide. That is FRAUD! I asked her for a refund bc it was such a SUBPAR application and because as a business owner it was the RIGHT thing to do. She tried to get me to go away, but I had to remind her several times that she must do what is RIGHT! She finally agreed to give me HALF..which was $70. I took it and RAN the hell out if there. You should avoid this place as she has unfair business practices. She basically got $70 for doing nothing. Imagine if you do that to 3x week...how much $$ that is? I now know, I wasnt the only person that happened to. I considered it a lesson learned and am lucky that is all that it cost me. I eventually talked to the girl that had referred me and she told me a similar story. Do your homework ladies. I feel like this is an unregulated industry that is ripe for abuse. I was always reluctant about getting eyelash extensions, because I had 2 awful experiences elsewhere that made my eyes super red and swollen. I came across Wynter's IG account and heard good reviews, so I thought why not? I'm SOOOO glad I decided to give Wynter a chance, because it was definitely a game changer. I can always wake up looking good with minimal effort, thanks to you guys! My previous experiences took me 2-3 hours, but here I'm in and out in about 1-1.5 hours! They work really fast and do such an amazing job! They listen to what you want and always check on you to see if you're okay and if you're happy with the results. The WORST eyelash extensions I've ever had!!! The eyelash tech (which I think was Katie) kept mentioning to me that I had long lashes, even longer than some of her extensions. Yes I knew this but I explained that I wanted a fuller, natural look (not like those ppl who look like you just attached the end of a broomstick to their eyelids). Anyways, I sit through this hour and a half appointment and all I hear is her telling her coworker all about how she couldn't wait to go home, that she wants to hurry and finish up and go home, and let me tell you SHE REALLY wanted to go home and the work on my face showed. I did all the proper care I needed to and yet my eyelashes NEVER stayed going in the right direction they were always intertwined with each other and an absolute mess!!! I got these Tuesday of last week and today is Monday AND THEYRE ALREADY OFF. If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would!!
