They use a UV light cured lash glue that dries immediately and is a game changer for those whose eyes water, want to swim or shower without worrying about adhesion. I booked in appointment with Jenna way back and when I rescheduled the second time but instead of her she had me booked with someone else. As you all know we like to stick with our own lash girl. The third time I booked I cancelled I was told that I would be charged $99 dollars for a no show if I re book. I did not return. I wanted to give them a second chance but again they wanted to charge a fee of $50. I did not go forth with the appointment Jenna scolded me and said she deserved to have a a call and it is not okay to cancel and never to book with her again. I never will after her yelling and cussing through the phone so unprofessional I highly recommend not booking with them they have very poor customer service and unprofessional will never recommend and book and keep sharing my experiences with them. read more

This 5 star review is long overdue. For those who want a short and sweet, here's the last chapter: I followed her to Lake Oswego. I live on the north side of Mt Tabor. I've only been getting lash extensions for little over a year. Like most of us, I did my research and picked a salon that was close by with a good rating. My technician was pretty young and I was pleased with my first set. When I had my fill done, many of my lashes were going in different directions. I did not know if this was normal or a result of an inexperienced technician. I decided that with lash extensions, I wanted complete confidence in my technician. I did more research and found Jenna. I am very grateful that I did because after about 6 months, I started having an allergic reaction to the glue. Jenna found a solution for me and my lashes are going strong. And, like I said, when she relocated to Lake Oswego, there was no doubt that I was going to follow her there. ;-) read more

This is my third time back with Isabella and she is wonderful! I have minimal fallout before each session and she's so gentle when applying them on. My lashes always look great after each fill. With Isabella, I feel like my natural lashes are never damaged and I haven't noticed them fallout as frequently as technicians I've had in the past (not at wink, a different salon). I really do feel like the quality of materials they use here really are top notch. The lashes are soft and the glue doesn't irritate my eyes like it usually does at other places. First off I showed up 30 minutes late due to circumstances out of my control but Colleen was super nice and accommodating. I got my lift first and Colleen was kind enough to squeeze me at the end of her day for my tint! I looove both of them! After a few not great experiences with other lash professionals, (at reputable businesses) I was given a referral to Wink (by an aesthetics instructor) because of it's reputation as the best in Portland. Wow. Wink is head and shoulders above my previous experiences. I feel lucky to have found Miriam who is a lash master artist. She has many years of experience with lashing and the aesthetics field. I like a natural look and she does an amazing job, my eyes look so beautiful and no lashes that are too huge, too curly or hard, what most lash salons can't or don't do as far as curl, length and softness. (I've checked with other places closer to me, they were impressed with my lashes and said they didn't have the kinds of lashes she uses, a synthetic mink that's very soft and not crunchy) Over a year later, I'm completely loyal because she's absolutely meticulous, gentle, sweet and I trust her judgement. I look forward to this time of pampering. The time or two I've had to go to another stylist at Wink because of a schedule conflict were both very good experiences as well. Also-regular fills every two weeks are what keep my lashes full and fantastic all the time. It's maintenance, their online scheduling is convenient bc I can get a couple appointments in the future set, and reschedule at any time, from my phone. Miriam is in demand so staying on top of it is important. I'm addicted. =) read more

I have had many lash lifts previously and was definitely underwhelmed by the one I had at Wink 3 and a bit weeks ago. After my initial lift I went home to see my lashes were barley curled so I called and they were very accommodating to get me in to do it again so I could have results I was happy with. I mentioned that there were quite a few "crimped" lashes I'd noticed and if she could try to straighten them out during the second treatment. After, the lash lift looked much more curled although as the weeks have went on the lash lift has completely uncurled (as it was suppose to last 6-8 weeks) and I have lashes that are so crimped they have fallen out (middle of eye) and looks horrible with mascara since it won't go on smooth. I was super disappointed and definitely will not be returning. read more

I had to take the time to give a shout here for Donna b/c I've been getting my lashes done by her at Wink Lash for probably around 3 years now. I'm not an active yelp reviewer simply for the sake of busy life - so I hope they won't stick this down in the "not recommended reviews" section. There are so many factors at play that go into QUALITY lash extension work - I'm not going start digging deep into each detail - just that 100% Donna is highly skilled, extremely knowledgable about extension work, and THE BEST. I've had lash extensions/fills done by other lash artists (b/c of traveling or scheduling availability) and none have ever come close to her work. The best way to put it is that NOBODY can ever tell that I have fake lashes. EVER. But I would still absolutely recommend her for any look that you're going for - natural, or unnatural, vavavooom, or whatever you feel like sticking on your eye's. Even though it is a further drive than lash parlors near my home - I just won't take the risk. FYI I have not been to all of the lash artists at Wink. There are many! She even squeezed me in last minute and came to work 30 minutes early (before her first appointment of her busy day) to emergency fix a fill gone wrong by someone else. It was super sweet b/c I was leaving on important tour and the mess on my eyes was very obvious! can't be running around like that when you work in entertainment biz. read more

I wound up with ruined lashes from the "lift" that completely curled back on themselves, point in different directions & tangled up so badly that I've now been plucking the worst ones out to relieve pain & irritation from the bases of the lashes. When I walked into Wink Lash I grabbed a complimentary mint as well as a new client sheet and I filled it out. Within minutes my aesthetician, Miriam greeted me and took me to a chair. Throughout the whole process Miriam made sure the eye pads weren't uncomfortable and she would check in with me periodically to make sure nothing hurt. I was super happy with how my lashes looked right after they were done (minus a little glob of glue in the corner of one eye), but the next day the lashes just started falling off. Not taking my own lashes with them, thank goodness, but definitely not adhering how they should. I messaged the gal that did my lashes and she basically just told me that it was my fault (even though I followed her care instructions to the letter). So, here I am, with lashes that were for a special occasion that are falling off and don't look good anymore, and out a decent chunk of change. Since writing this review, all of my extensions are gone. They fell like rain. However, I will say that I appreciate Jenna reaching out to me directly and look forward to seeing what she has to say. UPDATE: Jenna asked me to take this down, because the woman that I schedule with (through the wink website) isn't her employee... apparently. So, long story short. Don't go. I had an appointment that I booked 2 weeks in advance with one of their apprentices. Never got a reminder text or anything like that. When I showed up for my appointment I was told that she quit and that there should be an email waiting for me. I told her I never got and email and she said "Oh well I guess the system just didn't send it out". This place is very unprofessional and I feel like if someone quits and people have appointments with them, the business should be calling those people and letting them know, not sending an email. I just thought it was ridiculous that I had no warning, took time out of my day to come to this appointment, just to be told I wasn't getting a service that I had booked TWO WEEKS PRIOR. I had no accommodation, nothing. I work in customer service, and If I was running a business and someone quit, I would not be relying on an automatic email system to let my customers know, I would be personally calling so that no one comes to their appointment when there's no one there to do their service. This would have been my first time getting my lashes done, and Im met with this. completely unacceptable. They are unprofessional and unorganized. read more

I had a lash lift and tint here and my eyelashes are still not recovered. They are curled up on each other, crimped and cross over each another. It looks terrible and irritates my eyes. I have had my lashes curled at other locations and never had an issue with this before. The owner contacted me and said it was "normal for the lashes to get wonky" as they grow out-again I have never had that happen. It's very upsetting and I'm just waiting for them to fall out so I can have healthy lashes again. I've actually needed to review Jenna's for well over a year. Maybe longer. So, I've always had extremely bushy and unibrowy eyebrows. My wife convinced me that I really didn't have to live that way. She saw Jenna on one of the news stations and said we had to go try it out because Jenna has some technique that leaves your face looking refreshed instead of red, blotchy, and plucked after the process. When we went the first time, and I realized that two eyebrows really are better than one, it was inevitable that we would return... We've gone to see Jenna many times over the past few years and been extremely happy with the results. I am really impressed by this parlor. I have never been here before but had had lash extensions before. I looked at the IG accounts and liked Isabella and she had a New Years deal. She was professional, kind, and made me feel relaxed. I loved the set of lashes she did for me. I wanted something noticeable but not to glam. I loved the lashes. The next morning when I looked in the mirror I had a lash (not attached to mine) on my cheek and then I saw 2 more fall off not attached to my own lash. I know you lose 2-3 a day but these were not attached to mine. I'd just spent over 200$ (that includes tip) and felt kind of petty but I noticed two gaps in my lashes. One on each side.
