This isn't my usual Publix, but for this side of town it's convenient on my way home from other errands. The store is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's well stocked with a lot of variety. Parking isn't a pain. Zero complaints from me. read more

8/5/26. My husband loves the garlic bread out of the bakery. Today there was none on the shelf so hubby ask Diku if there was any back and he said.." I'll put a loaf on the bake". Very nice and customers friendly! Of course we then went and shopped around waiting for it!‍ read more

Publix "Where shopping is a pleasure" It's really annoying when I have to wait for a cashier to get off of her cell phone so she can ring my purchases. Why are cashiers even allowed to have their cell phones on them? It's really unprofessional. read more

Butterfly shrimp meal is on sale but they had none prepared for the day. Service at the deli was EXTREMELY slow and the women seemed confused at every request. William from Stillhouse was at the Publix Liquor Store doing tastings. I had the Spiced Cherry Whiskey topped with some eggnog it was delicious. Kentucky Corn Whiskey infused with Spiced Cherry Liqueur was my favorite. But the Stillhouse Bourbon was very smooth with a hit of coffee, when served with coca cola it goes down quite smooth. Bobby who was working the register very helpful and recommended Old Forester as a good bourbon to have around the house. Normally I go with Evan Williams but I thought I would splurge and go with Old Forrester for a post Repeal Day celebration. Overall great experience at the Publix Liquor Store. I only walked around the grocery store for a few minutes but was impressed with the level of customer service that this Publix offered. read more

I have to commend the OUTSTANDING customer service I received this evening from Tyler in the Pharmacy and Isabelita who was the cashier who checked me out. The customer-centered approach displayed by Tyler and Isabelita goes beyond reproach! Their actions place customer needs first and treat each one as they are the only customer they have as I watched both how they treated those in front of me. Publix should be very proud of Tyler and Isabelita as they depict the long-standing history Publix has with putting customer needs first! read more

Publix is an awesome grocery store. While the prices are a wee bit higher than other national chains, they have way better customer service. People that work here are so friendly and helpful. And right now as we go through this COVID-19 epidemic these workers at Publix are busting their humps getting shelves restocked and coming to work while others are staying home. I applaud them for their efforts and hope they are rewarded for this. This store has a great selection of produce and meats, and bakery goods. The parking lot isn't bad, but there are a few spots that people might try to run over you due to lack of signage to stop, yield, or watch for pedestrians. It's a great store and I look forward to coming back often. read more

I spend $125 go to the parking lot and load the bags into my car. Then I get a text to save $5 as I am driving off. BS system.

I'm not the kind of person who posts bad reviews for fun...in fact, I've never posted a bad review online in my 33 years on this planet. However, I feel compelled to do so after being discriminated against by a certain male pharmacist at this Publix yet again. I'd give the store itself five stars (Tony and the cooking school staff + the cashiers and customer service reps + Brenda and Crystal in the pharmacy are amazing) but thanks to the pharmacist Tyler Scarborough, I can only give the pharmacy one star. Last month, Tyler violated my hipaa rights by telling me he would not fill my prescription - loud enough for anyone around the pharmacy to hear. He was making up a (fake) rule to apply to me when his boss had already told me my rx would be filled if I did A and B (which of course I did) As a result of Tyler's behavior, I had a panic attack and was not comfortable going into that Publix (where my mother and I shop 3-4 times a week) unless Tyler was not there. I actually asked my mother to text me if she noticed someone else was there in the pharmacy instead of Tyler. Otherwise, I would go to another Publix, Winn Dixie, or Walmart. Luckily Tyler was out after a week or so. I went to do my shopping and decided to speak to another pharmacist, and that pharmacist filled my prescription without issue. She stated that it should have been filled previously. Two weeks later, Tyler's boss Crystal called and apologized on behalf of Publix. She promised me this would NEVER happen again and intimated she would speak to Tyler. I asked when I would next be able to fill this prescription without incurring the wrath of Tyler, and she said November 5 (today). So today I went to get my prescription. Unfortunately, Tyler was there. The tech told me my prescription would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I came back 25 minutes later...and by then Tyler had intervened and had made YET ANOTHER fake rule to try to prevent me from picking up psrecription...even though his BOSS specifically said I could get my meds today without issue. Tyler does NOT meet Publix customer service standards. He does not know my medical history and has retraumatized me multiple times now. I don't know if he treats all women this badly...or if he treats all people with the medical condition I have this badly...but I am quite uncomfortable with him having access to my medical information (and the medical information of my family and friends, for that matter). He is NOT the manager of the pharmacy - he is merely the asisstant manager. If the manager (his boss, Crystal) says one thing, he is NOT some pharmacy lord who can override it. I should also mention that the pharmacy techs look quite stiff and uncomfortable around Tyler. They never make small talk with customers like they do when they're working with Crystal and Brenda (the other two pharmacists). Normally the techs are quite amiable young women, and I have had pleasant conversations with them in the presence of the other pharmacists. I hope Publix at a minimum transfers Tyler to another store. Having been promised this would never happen again - a promise that clearly was broken - I should never be forced to interact with Tyler again. As the customer, I should not have to drive further to another pharmacy to escape Tyler's attitude. My mother and I are in this Publix every other day, and we are loyal Publix customers. We've done at least seven or eight cooking classes here. I have cashiered at Publix back when I was in school. But now both of us are quite uncomfortable in the store and around the pharmacy thanks to Tyler. The bottom line is pharmacists should be more empathetic to customers/patients. They do not know our complete medical history, but since they are privy to the medications we are prescribed, they can probably guess what some of our medical conditions are. There's nothing more egregious than a pharmacist exacerbating a patient's medical condition through disparate treatment and insensitivity. read more

My fave Publix in Jax. From the deli to the sushi this location is the best on all counts. The aprons cooking school is great fun. I highly recommend considering taking a class or one of the demonstrations for a date night. My hubs and I had so much fun. We did a brunch and in addition to eating and drinking we also laughed a lot!! read more

I just left here, the cashier on register 5, an older woman with red hair and glasses made my at first enjoyable experience not so enjoyable!! I forgot to tap "no cash back" where I then got yelled at for it. I understand that you make minimum wage but you don't have to be mean to me about it! I also used to work at Publix, glad I got out, but I also know that customer service is top priority, NOT to this lady! read more

do not use their pharmacy. They changed a policy overnight (although they had my prescription sent a week prior and no one called me to let me know). my prescription had originated from an in-person visit. my last visit was telehealth and will be in-person next. they refused to fill my prescription because without warning they changed their policy and now refuse any telehealth prescriptions even if provider is in Florida (horrible customer service) and did not call me the week prior even though they had my prescription called in. do not go there. read more

So disappointed in this Publix. It wasn't too busy today, but I had to wait more than 10 minutes for a single customer with half a cart to ring out. When it was my turn to check out, they acted exasperated and rushed through my small $127 order, and put everything back in my cart EXCEPT the breads I bought. I found out when I got home they had left this in the baggage area, and I was "welcome to come get it." Problem here? I live far enough away that this becomes a trip. I take care of my wife who is disabled, which also means I'll have to pay someone to come sit with her while I undo Publix' screw-up. This means I probably won't be able to get there until Monday (2 days from now) when the bread will be nice and stale. I called and they acted like it's not a big deal - and it isn't for them. It's a big deal for their elderly customers. Prices through the roof, customer service through the floor, and they treat people like dogs. read more

This is a really good Publix store. We come here because they seem to carry a larger supply of GF items. We have found many of their Store Brands to be of comparable quality to the Name Brands. Frankly, their prices are higher than Walmart. Their stores are very clean, especially restrooms. Easily accessible. Easy to check out. Parking is easy. Have not used their internet ordering yet. We use Walmart's system a lot. Their BOGOs are usually good. Frankly it's always like a game trying to make use of the BOGO's. Why not just have good prices all the time? They really have Jacksonville locked up. Gonna be interesting when Kroger gets kicked off here. read more

I have lived in Jax my whole life and shopped at Publix for the majority of it. I used to recommend shopping at Publix because of the super friendly people that worked there. Publix used to have this reputation.... a wonderful customer service experience, where the customer is greeted and assisted and treated with respect, etc. Those days are dead and gone at Publix! I have shopped at this particular location for the last year and each time I go, the service is worse. I actually said to a manager.."I miss the friendly Publix vibe.". He actually responded with.."it is what it is" and did not even make eye contact with me. What a shame! If you want a cold, unfriendly shopping experience then shop at San Jose Publix. It is on the level of whole foods now, which is pretty awful. read more

I went to this Publix in the early morning just to do a little bit of shopping and I asked the sushi guy if the sushi was fresh and he mumbled something which I didn't hear. Then I asked, "What's that?" and he just ignored me with an attitude like he wanted to throw a kick at me. I just want sushi without the attitude so I left. Although, the customer service manager seemed like she wanted to resolve the problem when I called. read more

The Sub maker was doing everything I asked for wrong, did not speak clear English, and I could tell his mind was not fully there, like he wasn't listening to what I wanted and was constantly looking away and talking to himself. He cut my bread for my sub not even the length of my hand- it was so noticeable on how small the sandwich was..... He cut my side of the sub with the same knife he used to spread mustard (from a different sub) and I did not want ANY kind of mustard on my sub. When he did apply my mayo, he put WAY too much, didn't even pay attention to how he was doing everything.. I have to pay for something I'm not happy with. When it came to wrapping the small sandwich, he pressed the paper wrapping into the cheese part of the sandwich and then wrapped it, and it was just not cool that he did that. I also had to remind him to give me my side after just asking for it a few seconds before.... not happy at all with this experience. He kind of ruined my day and I don't think I would like to get another sub from this location if he is going to be making my sub. On a sidenote, I have never had this bad of an experience at this Publix until today with that employee. read more
