Clean, modern, bright with lot's of screens for viewing sporting events. We sat at the bar for lunch and the service was good . . . prompt, friendly and checked on us regularly. Had the burger with onion rings and it was good. If you're a connoisseur of onion rings, as I am, be prepared; they're the breaded type (the kind you buy in a big plastic bag at the warehouse club). I think the days of good, fresh 'batter fried' onion rings are long gone. But, that's a story for another day. Just sayin'. But overall, it was a good experience. read more

The food exceeded expectations. The pork belly sliders contained very moist and deliciously fatty pieces of pork with a delicately toasted bun. It could've used more sauce, but the pickled radish and carrots more than made up for it. The waffle fries were perfectly cooked -- an intentional balance of soft and crisp. The sauces --tartar, blue cheese, and ranch dressing-- were homemade and elevated. The buffalo wings were solid, nothing too special, but cooked very well. The service was really slow, but I attribute this to them being understaffed. Our waitress and hostess were very kind and welcoming. I think they all just need more help. My wife and I come here with a small group of friends for dinner and drinks before the Thursday night Legends concerts. The food is excellent and the sandwiches are large enough to share. Terrible host staff. There was 4 employees standing at the host desk and not one acknowledged us standing there to be seated. After 5 minutes of waiting the older lady turns around and says that it's a 30 minute wait. I could clearly see the list said 20 minutes. So we told her that's fine and provided the name and phone number to be contacted when the table was ready 2 hours later and no calls from Winners Sports Bar. The manager walked toward the bar to get my bill so I could pay, but stopped and talked to another server for 15 minutes before I got up and walked over and asked for him the bill! Enjoyed dinner and breakfast at Winner's Sports Bar at the Desert Diamond casino in West Phoenix. Service is great and we were seated immediately. We had the same server, Josh, for dinner and breakfast and he was wonderful. The portions are huge so consider when ordering. For dinner we each had a house salad and shared a surf and turf pasta which had shrimp and steak in a creamy sauce. One bowl was more than enough for the two of us to share. For breakfast we had the deuces wild breakfast which was eggs, bacon, potatoes, English muffin and pancakes. The standard breakfast which was two eggs, ham, potatoes and toast. The piece of ham was the size of the platter. We shared about a third of it and took the rest home. The portions are just immense. I can't explain how big they are. Also had beignets with breakfast which were three delicious beignets serve with chocolate and raspberry sauce. Each meal was about $30 before tip and we were over full both times. This is a new casino. It's very clean and well decorated, beautiful and the food we had was absolutely delicious. It is highly recommended stop if you go in through Phoenix. read more

Daily specials from food to drinks. Plenty of space in the bar or in the dining establishment it's self. All I'm doors with no patio seating. I highly recommend trying the sweet potato fries. Winners sports bar at Desert Diamond Casino has a breakfast/brunch menu on the weekend. We tried it a few weeks ago, and the results were sub-par. Willing to give them another chance and wanting to watch the basketball game on the big screen there, we tried it again this past Saturday. Nothing changed. I'd never had a greasy omelet before. The potatoes tasted like they were days old and reheated. Even the toast couldn't escape their unappetizing hands. Now I realize it's a sports bar and not a breakfast joint. But if you're going to offer breakfast food. At least try to make it edible. read more

We stop in every now and again for the best burger and fries with the coldest beer in town. The service is always good and friendly. You can sit at the bar or table. There are big screen TV's in sight no matter where you sit. The menu has a good selection of food. We have tried a few different dishes which are good but usually return to getting a burger. Went in to watch the game and have a few drinks a few months ago. Nicole was my server and she was very attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner, but wasn't piping hot. That's definitely out of her control but her Supervisor Karen could have at least come by to see how we were doing. Food is delicious. I've had Tray as well and he's always attentive as well. I don't go as much as I'd like but maybe that could change in the future. Winners is an excellent restaurant in the valley. And it's well deserving of it's $300 burger price tag. Located inside the Desert Diamond Casino (now you know why a burger costs $300) the restaurant offers a great place to sit and eat while waiting for a friend, family members, or just taking a break from gambling. There is a 1000 inch big screen TV that is just a joy to experience, and the service is excellent for a casino restaurant. As for the food, I ordered pancakes one time, and the burgers another time. The pancakes are huge, delicious, and CHEAP! For $4 dollars, you get three huge pancakes that will satisfy your carb needs. As for the burger, it is simply good. The beef is made from ground beef and as far as I know, not a mass produced frozen patty they grab from the fridge. It crumbles like ground beef should, and the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, and avocado complemented the burger perfectly. They add in just the perfect amount of each. Another strong praise is the waffle fries! That's simple change is what sets it apart from other burger restaurants in town. I think they get it from the same company as Chik-Fil-A. Imagine that. Chik-Fil-A without the lines, and needing to eat a chicken sandwich! That in itself should already convince you to head to the casino and eat at Winners. Also if you're part of the Casino's rewards program they give you a 10% discount and sometimes even give you something free! Now that's makes losing $300 in the tables not so painful. read more

Today while visiting the casino for the first time I decided to stop in and give this place a try. The wait wasn't long to be sat, however the service was a long wait it took 15mins for someone to even acknowledge that I was sat. Then once the waitress Nicole came over I asked what beer they had on tap and she said,"all the local beers". When I asked her what beers she couldn't tell me. When asked for water it took 20mins before we had to ask again. In fact our server didn't even take my drink order and the runner actually got a drink order and brought me a drink. Over all the food was subpar and service was horrible. While I was sitting I watched other couples get upset with the wait as I did. I did speak with the manager Karen and he did apologize and asked me to return and give them a second chance in the future. Based off my experience today I am not sure I would of returned but after talking with Karen I will potentially return. read more

It was doughy, tasteless, and altogether inedible ... the toppings were about what you might expect a 12 year old could put together from leftovers in the fridge. Gross.
