We went to TP after a stressful day. Well, going here was a huge mistake. This was on a Tuesday and they weren't that busy. Don't ever get Vanessa! We all ordered beers just before 6pm. My husband ordered a large and my sister and I ordered smalls. When we got our bill the large beer was the same price as the small beers. Why didn't Vanessa tell us the large beers were on happy hour and were the same price as the small beers! Duh? We all wanted Beyond Burgers (my husband had cancer and was put on a plant based diet). Vanessa said she didn't think the Beyond Burgers were available anymore. She goes to check and comes back and said they are still available, . We all ordered cheeseburgers with the Beyond patties. We had to modify it without cheese or mayo but we all wanted the caramelized onions. My sister wanted verification that the onions were cooked and Vanessa said that they were. When we got our food which took a long time to get; it was luke warm and no caramelized onions. Vanessa said the cheeseburger doesn't come with caramelized onions! What?! My husband went and got the menu and it clearly states the cheeseburger comes with carmelized onions. I needed a knife to put mustard on my burger but none of us got any sliverware, napkins or coasters for our beers which were sweaty. After waiting for 10 minutes to get silverware my husband got up and got silverware from the bar. Now my lukewarm burger is cold as well as my fries. We asked for the manager and he did bring us caramelized onions in a to-go cup. Plus we got to-go containers to take our food home and reheat it. My sister and I waited tables when we we were young and had a whole lot more common sense. We did tip Vanessa but not nearly as much as we normally do. TP clearly hires based on looks and not brains. Last time we were here was right after they opened, so it's been quite a while. We had gone to a comedy show, so there wasn't a lot of options that were still open after 10pm and we were hungry. Hubby got a regular Cheeseburger with Broccoli as his side. Well, it came with Fries, which he ended up eating because it was just easier. He was surprised that they gave him a teeny tiny amount of ketchup, but he managed anyway. He said the burger was just okay and he probably should've gone with something else. I got a Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp. Most Caesars come with romaine lettuce, this had a spring mix which I'm not fond of. But, I will say, their dressing was delicious and plentiful, so I powered through it...LOL! I do have a massive pet peeve when it comes to ordering shrimp in a salad or pasta...take off the damn tails!!! Now, I have to stick my hands into my food and pull them off, it's just messy and could've been done before. Some places do it, but there are some that don't. I guess I should always mention it when ordering...whatever, I didn't this time. Once they were ready, I dug in. They were grilled nicely and I really enjoyed my salad. Will we come back again...probably. I really liked the Caesar and would like to try it with Salmon. They also have Grilled Chicken Wings, which we want to try. I was visiting the Glendale area and stopped into this Twin Peaks, (Monday 12/30 @12:30 PM). The very attractive bartender greeted me right away and provided me with all the menus (regular menu and specials menu). I started with a large Stella and the mini crispy beef tacos. Absolutely awful service and completely unacceptable treatment My partner and I had one of the worst experiences we've ever had at Twin Peaks Glendale this past Sunday. While my partner was parking his truck, I sat at the bar and asked the bartender if they had a beer list for their tap beers. Instead of even attempting to help, she just pointed vaguely at a QR code two feet down the bar in front of other people and said, "It's on there," then walked away. I asked if they had any ciders, and the only answer I got was "Angry Orchard," followed by her turning her back and leaving again. There were three bartenders behind the bar, all huddled together chatting, not once asking if I wanted anything, not offering suggestions, not engaging--literally zero effort. We finally got someone's attention and ordered two Kilt Lifters. Minutes later, a manager walked over and told us we needed to leave after we finished our beer, essentially kicking us out with no explanation whatsoever. No issue, no disturbance, nothing--just a rude and bizarre demand after we had finally managed to order. For a place that advertises hospitality and an upbeat atmosphere, this was the complete opposite. Unwelcoming, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing. We will never be returning, and I hope management takes a serious look at how customers are being treated. read more
