When I first went to Winnie Couture I was super impressed. Great staff, great dresses, and even better service. I ended up buying my dress same day and paid extra to have the dress made to my exact measurements (I forget the term for this). Meaning, they took my bust size, waist, height, floor to waist, etc. Winnie Couture recommended this "extra" so that I shouldn't need any alterations after my dress arrived. I picked up my dress several months later after it came in. While the dress fit in the bust, waist, etc PERFECTLY, the dress was extremely long to the point that I could not walk forward without stepping on the dress. Literally when I walked forward the dress would go under me. I told management that they should have to pay for the dress to be hemmed since I had paid Winnie Couture a lot of money to have the dress made to my exact measurements. Note that when they took my measurements I did have my wedding heels on in order to make the measurements exact (Winnie Couture's recommendation). Winnie Couture flat out refused to pay any money to have the dressed altered because hemming it would be my "personal preference". I asked them if they preferred a bride not being able to walk down an isle without holding up her dress. Management did not react favorably to that question. While I am very excited to wear my beautiful dress to my wedding, I am extremely disappointed in Winnie Couture's attitude, professionalism, and customer service. Go to Winnie if you want to find your dream dress! Winnie is by far the best bridal store I have been to. I came from Chicago as their dresses are almost impossible to find in Chicago. I asked them to borrow a dress they didn't have. They got the dress in for me and Kera, who was my consultant, moved very fast to make sure I had a chance to try on all the dresses I was interested in (which was a lot for an 1hr and a half appointment). The dresses are gorgeous. She, as well as the other consultant were very sweet and patient with me. At the end of the appointment I told them I had to think about the dress I picked first before I buy. They knew I came all the way down there for a dress and that I've been looking for awhile. Yet they did not use that information to push me to buy which I thought was wonderful. I wish they had bridal stores like Winnie in Chicago. read more

This place runs like a well oiled machine. I was SO impressed with the customer service and organization. When I arrived for my appointment, they already had all the gowns I had selected as favorites from online ready and in the dressing room. The stylists were also able to suggest other dresses based on what I was liking. The prices are fairly reasonable, the ones I liked we're all between $1500-$3000. The pink fluffy decor is a little dated but they have huge spaces to try on your dresses, which was great. It wasn't crowded and they made you feel like you were their most important customer. They definitely push the sale, which can be a little stressful for me, but all in all, I was very impressed with this store! read more

My experience at Winnie was nothing short of amazing- from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, it was honestly, perfect. My mother booked a last minute trip to Atlanta to go wedding dress shopping with me. We called Winnie on Thursday afternoon and they made an appointment specifically to fit our requested time Friday evening- they were so flexible with our last minute request! Winer followed up with me personally on Thursday to get a better understanding of what I wanted so she could pull some dresses and have them ready when we arrived! She also advised me to pick a few and add them to my closet online. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who took us back to Winer. It was then we noticed we had the entire shop to ourselves- how special! We chatted with Winer and her colleague for a bit and began trying on dresses that she'd pulled. The quality material really make these dresses phenomenal. They were soft, silky, and luscious. This attention to detail makes all the dresses fit and flow wonderfully- I seriously didn't try on a single dress that I didn't like. Once I'd tried on several dresses and I had narrowed my options down to two amazing dresses, Winer suggested we make our way through the store to look at a few other possibilities- I am so thankful for her suggestion! We pulled a few dresses and went back to the fitting room. I walked out with MY dress on and, Winer and her colleague could tell it was the one simply from my reaction! They offered great comments and insight along the way which truly helped me realize this was MY dress. I couldn't be happier and I am so excited for the dress and my wedding! Omg! This is the best place in Atlanta out of the 4 I went to (listed in my other review). The dresses here are much more stylish and look a lot more upscale for a similar price. I obviously found my dress here. Caitlyn helped me and she sweet and helpful. I could tell she was genuinely happy and excited for me when I said yes to the dress. We all had a champagne toast! I had an amazing experience. I walked in not feeling well due to food poison. However, upon seconds of meeting Winer, was able to feed off her energy and spirit and automatically perked up. We spoke for about 2 minutes, I showed her a picture of my dream gown and within 5 minutes of my appointment I was in the dress of my dreams. All I can say is "AMAZING!" My experience here was absolutely wonderful from the very first time they called me (3 weeks before the appointment) and continued as I walked inside. I'm from Los Angeles, but because my mother and aunt do not live there, we decided to shop in Atlanta, GA. Winnie Couture was my first stop of 8 (omg) wedding dress appointments...and my last! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the gal in front, filled out some basic information and was offered water and champagne! I met with Ricklie, my stylist, and we sat down to talk about what I was looking for, budget, and just a general meet and great. She reminded me that they were offering 15% off if you decided on a dress in your first session. After we chatted for a bit we went on a tour, which I loved! They didn't decide on what they thought I'd like but allowed me to look through and pick what I loved. There aren't hundreds of dresses, but the selection has a bit of everything for everyone. I picked out 5-6 dresses and we went to try on. And wouldn't you know....it was the FIRST dress. It was just beyond perfect and exactly what I had wanted, but just couldn't find anywhere. We went through them all and it ended up down to two. As if the service and experience wasn't already perfect, they got even more wonderful. They let me try on these two dresses a few times, put a veil in my hair, gave me a bouquet and allowed me to walk around the store. They even allowed me to go by the door and see the dress in natural light, something that I never thought about, but was a great idea. I got a little overwhelmed in deciding if I should just get the dress now because of the sale. I was 99% sure I was just going to end up back there to get this dress, and now I wouldn't get the 15% off. They NEVER once pressured me into purchasing the dress or hinting at the 15%. I genuinely felt that they just want their brides to find "the one" and be happy. On a suggestion, I played the song that I want to walk down the aisle to. I stood in front of this huge, beautiful mirror, closed my eyes and played the song. When I opened them, there was NO doubt. This was my dress and I started crying. And I said yes to the dress!! A little later on that night, I started worrying that maybe I had moved too fast, and wasn't sure about this one part of the dress; a very, VERY small part. I called the store, and Ricklie talked to me about options and what they could do. I just wasn't sure, so we rushed back over and she was there waiting for me. We tried the dress on once more (mind you, they were about 10 min to closing), and compared it to another dress that looked like the change I would make. I didn't like it, as it would take away from the uniqueness of the dress. So she came up with another idea about adding on a bit of fabric and it WORKED! All in all, Ricklie helped me find this amazing dress that is so me. She was patient, kind, and genuinely wanted me to be happy and love my dress. And due to her and Winnie Couture...I do! read more

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my dress at Winnie Couture! My bridal consultant, Ricklie was the absolute best! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. As soon as my mother and I walked into the bridal salon we were greeted by the young lady at the front desk. She and I engaged in small talk as we waited for my Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor to arrive. Once we were all there, the process began. The first dress I tried on is actually the one I purchased! We tried on 4 to 5 other dresses but we kept going back to the 1st one. After I was jacked up, I said yes to the dress! We celebrated with a champagne toast provided by the staff at Winnie. Everyone was extremely patient and cheerful. I felt like I was living in a dream! This Bridal Salon is FABULOUS. My mother, one of my bridesmaids and I came all the way from Birmingham, AL to look at the dresses here. All of the ladies here were so nice and it felt like they actually cared, which only enhanced the experience. I ended up buying my dress here. It is so stunning. Great Customer Service. The two consultants at Winnie Couture turned our wedding dress shopping experience from a nightmare to a dream. After putting up with snooty, pushy consultants, Winnie Couture helped my daughter feel special. They were close to the same age, laughed and talked and tried to get to know her. The dresses were stunning. Although we didn't purchase a dress there, it was a great day for all. The only criticism would be to stop with the 15% discount if you don't walk out the door policy. This is a lot of money to spend and a decision that needs some space and thought-this policy makes me feel like I'm buying a used car. read more

The service was wonderful my first time visiting. My dress was the Nahla dress I let the bridal stylist convince me that I needed to order a size up. Which was a huge mistake. The dress ended up being way to big and even after alterations it did not give me the perfect fit that I had in the sample size. My advice to the Winnie brides make sure you order the correct size don't let the stylist talk you into pricey alterations, the nahla dress has a corset inside that makes it difficult to be tailored. At least that is what their recommended tailored advised me. Ladies just Order your size !!!! read more

DO NOT go here! Worst customer service ever! I called and made a bridal appointment for a Saturday but had to cancel due to a death in our family. I called Thanksgiving Day (Thursday) and left a voice message, but they claimed that they never received it. I got a text message the next day (Friday) around 5pm to confirm or cancel my appointment and replied No that I couldn't make it and even called the store again Friday night to let them know. Then, I received a charge on my credit card for 25 dollars. How convenient that they text at 5pm when my appointment was 3pm the next day. When I called, they said that it was less than 24 hrs cancellation so they had to charge me the $25. I again explained that I had called and left a message Thursday night, but the manager didn't care. She said if I came in for my next appointment and purchased a dress then they would take the 25 charge off. I was like is this woman insane? Is this how they run a business? Then I explained that we had a death in the family and asked if there was any way to make an exception. She told me that there was no way to take the charge off. Really? But she could easily take it off if I purchased a gown there? What a joke. I've heard from other girl friends that this place is bad as well. read more

Why are there so many hidden 5 star reviews??? I first came to Winnie Couture about a month ago to try on dresses, I met with Jessica and she listened to what I had in mind and showed me various dresses. At that appointment I knew I found my dream dress, but I needed to make sure. I went to many more dress stores and kept comparing every dress to the one I fell in love with at Winnie Couture. The quality of the material is very good, even trying on other designers that were comparable in price, just did not seem to be as good of quality. I then returned to try on a few more at Winnie Couture and make sure that I still felt the same way about the dress. I met with a different stylist this time, and just can not remember her name! She was very helpful though. I waited a few days after the second appointment to purchase the dress! I can't wait to receive it and finally wear it for my wedding! I had a wonderful experience here with Savannah. From the moment i called to make an appointment, i knew i was in good hands. One person took my appointment info then handed me directly to my stylist Savannah. She asked a lot of useful questions over the phone and sent me a website so I could pre select dresses i wanted to try on. This tool was very helpful. Upon arriving at the salon we were greeted in a reception area and I filled out a brief questionnaire. They were very accommodating of the fact that I brought 5 people with me as well. They gave us all champagne and we were taken to the back/salon area. First of all the whole place is gorgeous and carefully designed. We went through some dresses to get an idea of anything else I wanted to try on. Once i had picked about 10 dresses, Savannah helped me try them all on with my friends and family there to watch. It was a great experience and I ended up selecting a dress. They were able to take custom measurements including heel height so my dress should fit upon arrival. They are also customizing my dress by changing a fabric and dying the bottom portion. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Will update in December when I go back for my fitting. Overall Savannah and Winnie Couture made me feel at home and i couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

This is going to sound crazy, but I have dreamed of getting my dress from Winnie ever since I was in high school! This was the first store that I went to and fell in love with two gorgeous gowns! Both were a bit out of my budget, so I continued my search at numerous stores throughout Georgia. After trying to make every dress that I tried on look like the dresses I picked out at Winnie, I finally folded. I decided to move some money around and splurge on my beautiful Winnie gown! I received so many compliments on my dress - thank you Winnie! My only con would be that they do not offer in-house alterations. They refer you out, which is kind of annoying. I went to Dora to have my dress altered and she noticed some flaws in my gown that only a seamstress would notice! If Winnie had an in-house seamstress I believe the flaws in my gown could have been fixed at the store. Instead, I had to pay extra to have them taken care of. Other than that, I have no complaints! P.S. If you go, be sure to ask for Alexa! She is the best! read more

We had the worst experience here! First of all, they charge you if you don't show up for appt. So, our appt was for 2:30. They called and said they were running late. Asked if we could come around 3. We show up and wait another 30 min. Meanwhile a bride that had a 4:00 appt asked if she could be taken back early. At first they said no. So she asked if she could pick out her dresses then come back. They said next. Next thing we know she is back there trying on dresses and we are still waiting. Finally get back. We pick out several dresses to try on. well half of them were manaquin size so could not be tried on. Buyer beware. The employees were friendly and seemingly helpful when I was there. I bought a dress and they took my measurements to customize it. When the dress came, it fit everywhere but in the bust - I was so big (Double DD+ when I am a B) that my bust was not even making contact with the dress and could see clear down the front of it. I called and they assured me that a seamtress could fix it by taking in the sides. I had it altered and while better it still looks pretty ridiculous. I called Winnie and it took they several days to call back (even though I am now weeks before my wedding) and did not seem to care AT ALL that I feel like a clown version of Pamela Anderson in my dress. Don't succumb to the day of discount. Leave and think it over and definitely make sure you have a plan with them if it doesn't fit - Or better yet go somewhere else that sincerely cares that you look and feel great on your wedding day! I had made an appointment when I came across their booth at the Atlanta Bridal show. My friend also made an appointment, and called the day before our appointment,the girl had told her because we were on a lower budget that it would be completely pointless to come in. And they were trying to bully her into coming up with half of whatever dress she chose. We simply just wanted to try dresses on and that is what we told them when we made our appointment together! Then someone had left a voicemail on my phone saying that I shouldn't even bother to come to the appointment. So we never went because we were so furious. THEN I get a call today and was asked to reschedule my appointment, which I then told her that me or my friend would not come into their store because we were rudely told to not even bother, she then explained to me AGAIN that their dresses start at $1500, I explained that even though my budget is $1000, if I found the dress of my dreams that I would have paid a little more but now since I was told to not even come in just to try dresses on, she had lost two customers. I will be returning to David's Bridal for my wedding dress, Winnie couture has been the worst experience ever. I have never been treated so horribly by anyone. This place will never get a penny of mine. read more
