The first time I went here they did a pretty good job for the price, so I thought I'd try them again. This time around was a whole different story....it was like most movies where the sequel is so terrible it tarnishes the name. I was specific in what I wanted for my haircut...I not only told her what I wanted but showed her photos too!....but all my efforts were wasted and I think it is safe to assume that the lady must of thought I said, "Just f%*k me up fam." Because my haircut was tore up. It was extremely uneven and not blended at all on one side. I said to cut almost nothing off the top, but instead she turned into Edward scissorhands...she was chopping away at my hair at laser fast speeds and took about 3 inches off before I could say Nooooooooooo!!!!!! And the only choice I had wt that point was for her to make it even. Overall I will never return, it's just hair so I know it will grow back but it's just annoying to have to wear a hat for at least a week before my hair looks decent enough to show in public and not scare children. read more

Woke up and decided I needed a haircut. It's been long overdue since I was in New York a couple weeks ago. I tried to get a haircut in New York but the lines were ridiculous everywhere so I decided to wait until I got to California this week. Here's the thing about Antioch -- it's a nice and quiet neighborhood with very friendly people but also very talented people. From the delicious food options, to the cheap gas prices, to the ridiculously inexpensive haircuts. Winnie gave me a wonderful haircut and listened to me step by step whenever I told her to avoid cutting certain areas. I was shocked that the haircut was only $13 so I have her a big tip. The two woman paying next to me were shocked their haircuts were $30 together instead of $30 each. Let it be known -- never going to a chain haircut again. Thanks Winnie! read more
