I came to visit Winny's Donut House after seeing a TikTok saying that they had a slow day. I've lived down the street for a couple of months now and have never really thought to try it. I had been craving donuts for a few days at this point. I showed up around 6am and the place was pretty empty but very clean. The owners were very friendly, greeting me with an amazing attitude and energy. One thing I tend to appreciate when visiting food spots is customer service that is offered, so this was something that impressed me. They have a large selection of donuts to choose from- I got a chocolate bar, sprinkle donut and a few donut holes. The cost was about $6 which is the average price in this area. The donuts were fresh and quite soft/fluffy. The one thing I enjoyed was that they weren't too sweet. One of the great benefits of this donut shop is that there's tons of parking spaces. It's located in a plaza where there is a Starbucks and LA Fitness. This makes the trip very convenient and easy. I was born and raised in North Long Beach so I was aware of this donut shop but hadn't gone until I saw the Tiktok. I will be visiting Winny's again in the future and hope that you take a chance to check them out too! read more

Stumbled upon Winny's Donut House while walking from the medical buildings across the street. Was hoping to find a donut shop close by, and I got lucky to find them. Good friendly service with a smile. Felt very welcomed when I stepped into their shop. They were popular that Monday morning. There were a couple of tables to dine at, and they were all occupied by customers. I'm guessing they get a lot of regulars here. I had a craving for French Cruller donuts. Unfortunately, they had none. So, I settled on a Maple Bar and a Boston Creme donut. Maple Bar tasted alright. Custard Filled Chocolate was delicious. The first third of the donut I finished had no custard. After that, though, it was oozing with yummy custard filling!! Overall, it was a good first time experience. Would probably give this place a 4.5, but I'll round up to a 5 because the character donuts are sooo cute! I thought this place would just have adorable donuts that are okay, but these donuts are delicious. They are light and fluffy, sweet, but not too sweet. The prices aren't too bad - half a dozen is $6, but the panda is an extra $0.80 and the unicorn donut is $2.50. I probably wouldn't get the unicorn again, but the panda is delicious and adorable. I also got an assortment of glaze (delicious), old fashioned maple (incredible), chocolate bar (good), and another donut I can't remember. In total, my half dozen box came out to $9.75. They no longer operate on an ATM system (although if your order is less than $7, they'll charge you an extra 0.75 for credit card/debit card transactions). The interior is clean, and they also provide a variety of coffee and blended ice drinks. Interestingly, they also have soups and sandwiches! Would definitely come here again - I get emotional just thinking about how cute the character donuts are. Everyone there is super nice and friendly - they have great customer service. read more

I walked into this tiny donut shop and got an old fashioned, the bellwether I judge any old school donut shop by. It was fresh and delicious and passed the test. A small box I brought to work were enjoyed by everyone; the other donuts I tasted were quite good as well. Winny's Donut House has moved only about 200 feet from their old location. Their NEW location is much cleaner and nicer than the old. I think the donuts and sandwiches have gotten even better...if that's possible. Don't waste your time and money spending four bucks at Starbucks, which is across the plaza fWinny's at their old location. Winny's coffee and pastries are SO MUCH better. Love this donut spot! I stopped by here from time to time on my way to work to get their chocolate chip muffins! They are so goood!

My go to donut shop before work! Always a crowd pleaser for long weekend shifts. They're opened early and access to freeways are pretty close. What I like about Winny's is the fact that their donuts are always fresh and warm at 0600 and the selections are always great. Once at work, they're pretty much gone within an hour. The donuts are not soggy and the dough is light and not oily. You taste the donut and not the fried stuff. What's really awesome is you can also order a large donut as in donut cake! And they make them in a variety of character. You do need to place the order in advance. In addition to donuts, like many other shops, they make breakfast sandwiches, smoothies with bobas, and some lunch sandwiches as well. read more

They also put their dozen donuts in one of the flat boxes so the donuts aren't mashed up against each other. Super affordable I got a blended coffee with non fair creamer for 2.95 and one glazed doughnut (.85) and one jelly (1.00) even though the iced coffee is a little on the creamier side I still taste the coffee. Fluffy doughnuts nice people, only downside is cash only so make sure you bring cash! Place is nice, normal doughnut shop look with booth seating. I usually only eat what I bake but recently have not had the time to bake. Service is fast and friendly. Great customer service snd clean bathroom ( only one) They have sandwiches and coffee ( ice coffees too) ham and cheese croissants and muffins Thai ice tea and Boba plus juices and waters in a case. Their sandwiches are reasonably priced at 3.95 each. They only have 2 booths and 2 tables. A dozen regular donuts are 9.95 or 9.45 ( slightly under 10$) I would rather go here then Winchells because good customer service is always a huge plus in my book.
