I just opened it. Watery. Sloppy. Hair on it.

Big guy has zero customer service skills. Doesn't greet anyone, doesn't say, "hi what can I get you?". He literally stands at the register and looks at you as if you are wasting his time. No smile. No, "thank you for coming" nothing. He seems to hate his job. Doesn't wash hands after changing gloves, just puts on new gloves. This is how places start to lose customers then the owner wonders "why did we not make it?" To top it off, I get home and my tuna sandwich is watery, then I noticed a curly hair in my sandwich. NEVER GOING BACK

1 and 1/2 slices of cheese! I mean come on you raise prices and lower quantity not cool Jimmy! Not cool at all.

Place is going in the wrong direction. High prices lower food quality. Pick one or the other MR Jimmy of John's. The sandwich makes me long for subway! So sad and disappointed. You have broken my heart

What initially led me to my local Jimmy John's was an advertisement for their $3 Little John sandwiches. These are mini versions of Jimmy John's Original sandwiches. Needing some cheap & portable grub, I ordered quick & easy online using Freaky Fast Rewards to earn a free sandwich on a future order. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=t90eNIwLV80eI5D5g0w29g&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Look at the size of these sandwiches! How did I get all that for $3/each (no tax)? Simple! All the options which were available & not an additional charge, I asked to be included or for extra to be added. Sprouts - check! Grey Poupon Dijon mustard - check! Sliced pickles - check! Extra oil & vinegar - check! Make the most of what's given to you. Hunter's Club unwich https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=oE59HTUEmqYHMlwTeLblGg&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA For my free sandwich, I went with the Hunter's Club. It is double the roast beef & provolone of the Big John. This behemoth was snugly wrapped in lettuce & I had a hard time devouring each delicious bite, as I ordered everything available that's not an additional fee to be included/extra added. Hunger conquered! Service was great. Ordering online/thru the app was a breeze, and my sammies were within my grasp before I knew it. More sprouts on the side? No prob! A few tables and some stool seating, Jimmy John's is a more grab n' go spot, and not for large groups. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=B4mEAxQa1QwrR8UkUeua2w&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=jKLdiEO9N9Rk8Ea6Mm12NA&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Located next to Jamba Juice, and east of Chili's, Jimmy John's is across Candlewood St. from the Lakewood Center. I may be a Johnny Come Lately, but I'm now a Johnny Come Often, for Jimmy John's is awesome! $3 is a tremendous deal for the Little Johns, especially the way I order them, via the user-friendly Jimmy John's app. Cheap, delicious grub? Count me in! Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

The server (owner?) asked if we wanted cheese and Cole slaw, and that's how we got it. The sandwich was big enough to share so if the sandwich seems pricey, consider sharing. Although on a hungry day, I could probably eat it all with no problem. Dilly's has a fairly decent amount of craft beers on draft. I wasn't in a beer-drinking mood so I didn't look too closely at the list. I love it when restaurants support local brewers, and this looks like the kind of place that would do just that.

Heard about Dilly's Sandwiches having the most unique rotating set of beers on tap in Long Beach,…read moreso had to come to try it. The taste portions were very reasonably priced, allowing to create your own flight (or two). Specifically scheduled an early afternoon to come to the Lakewood Village neighborhood of East Long Beach. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.

Once open, I was ready to check out Mendocino Farms for the first time. The menu at Mendocino Farms consists primarily of sandwiches, salads & soup. After a quick perusal, I thought the Peruvian Steak sandwich best whet my appetite. Peruvian Steak sandwich- Spicy aji amarillo marinated steak with Oaxacan cheese, herb aioli, red onions, tomatoes, shredded romaine on a toasted potato roll. I quite liked this. Tender steak, with fatty cheese. The vegetables provided contrast & texture. For my purchase, I went with a side of Southern Potato Salad. It was good, but similar to grocery deli potato salad. In hindsight, I should've purchased avocado added to my Peruvian Steak sandwich. Service was excellent. All hands were on deck, as Mendocino Farms opened only a few days prior. Each employee had a name badge, specifying their name & which entree was their favorite, helping indecisive customers choose what to get. Plenty of seating indoors & al fresco. Parking is at LBX, with Mendocino Farms being across Georgia's and facing the Hangar at LBX. I found the Peruvian Steak sandwich delicious, yet meager in quantity, considering the regular price. It's more of a substantial snack, than a full meal, in my case. However, it's great to have another quality food option in the area, and I look forward to coming back & exploring the rest of menu.

I think it is way too doughy compared to typical focaccia. I like my focaccia airy, with some bounce. This one was like a dense bread. Definitely not my forte for having focaccia. You're able to see in my attached photo just how thick and dense it looks. The salmon bowl itself was pretty refreshing. I think the dresssingggg was perfectly tailored to the bowl. The scones also hit the spot. All were unique...traditional, savory and sweet for the full spectrum. Unfortunately, we were full and never made it to dessert.
