Devouring this breakfast burrito!!! Deliciousness but after Notre!

Oh man! Oh man!!! I would honestly say that this is the BEST breakfast burrito that I've ever had!!!! My first time here at Nick's deli EVER and they did not disappoint all the hype that I've read about them. It was the perfect size burrito, the salsa was amazingly perfect! Had the right kick to it! I will definitely be a regular there. The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent! Seating might be tough as the day goes but since I got there a bit before 8 am, there was no crowd at all! I loved the atmosphere. Very clean but yet it had that old "deli" type look to it. Fountain drinks were right next to the rack of different varieties of chips to go with their meñu. This place is awesome! I will definitely be back and become a regular!!! Kudos to Nick's deli!! You're like a hidden gem in my neighborhood!

A real nonsense type of joint. Lots of seating in the back and some cute little outdoor seating in the pack patio area. First time here, haven't tried deli number 1 yet but happened to find deli II while I was in the area looking for breakfast. Luckily the guy ringing me up showed me the other side of the menu that offered a hardy vegetarian breakfast burrito. It was just what I was looking for !!! Delicious and packed w veggies like broccoli bell peppers onions also had egg whites and potatoes and cheese. I added the guacamole for an extra dollar and they did not skimp. Came w salsa. It was fire and hit the spot.

I absolutely LOVE this place, especially for their breakfast burritos. They're well-priced, well-made, and just damn delicious. You can tell the staff have their ways of working that just works for them and it's efficient. They take your order and you don't pay until you get your food. Their breakfast burritos just have the right proportions of the ingredients. I love it. Can't rave about it more. Also, the place gives you the feel of a little history. You can tell there are locals and regulars who stand by this place through and through.

*** Slight discount (4%) with cash payments *** Nick's Deli II is a popular deli shop located in Los Alamitos and is best known for breakfast burritos. I have been to the flagship location in Seal Beach, but recently I decided to come here since I was near this Los Alamitos location. Most of the staff has been working for the shop for over at least a decade so there's a strong base of loyal customers here. [Parking]: There's a free parking lot in the strip mall and I had no issue finding an available spot. [Ordering & atmosphere]: I was greeted by one of the staff and he took my order. Once the food is ready, then customers pay at the cashier counter. This is one of the most popular breakfast burrito spots in Los Alamitos / Cypress area as the deli shop was pretty crowded at 8:45 AM on weekdays & phone was constantly ringing. Kitchen staff was very lively and shouted in unison whenever someone had left a tip. My order was ready in approximately 15 minutes. [Menu]: The menu was pretty overwhelming to navigate, but the top two Yelp highlighted items are Breakfast Burrito and Machaca (or Machacha as listed on the menu). *** Breakfast Burrito (Eggs, chorizo, Bacon, Potatoes & Cheese - $9.95): Solid portion for the price - a-tier breakfast burrito with fresh ingredients, but this burrito missed the "it" factor. Special sauce had right amount of heat. *** This is one of those places customers constantly come back due to good value. Breakfast burrito was solid so I would recommend this deli shop to anyone who's in this part of the town.

My husband was craving a breakfast burrito and I found this place on Yelp near the gym for him to stop by on the way home. I got the machaca burrito and he got the Americano burrito to share with our son. Review from my 6 year old .. he said 10/10 because he has good potatoes and crispy bacon. The machaca was flavorful. They gave red salsa on the side which was good, not spicy. Place is good with reasonable prices. Will be back to try out their sandwiches.

This is a good local spot for breakfast/lunch. They have burritos, sandwiches, plates, salads, and more. We came on a Sunday for lunch and it was busy, but the food came out quick. There's seating indoors and outdoors, it's a lot bigger than I expected. I didn't see the Daily Double Special until I was walking out, but I would so order that next time! ig: @cravingswithcat

Food Was one of those mornings that I was craving a breakfast burrito and I have always been hearing about Nick's Deli II having pretty good breakfast burritos. I love breakfast burritos and a really good one can really make my day. I went in, got a chorizo breakfast, and it came with salsa as well. It wasn't love at first bite since it seemed to be mostly tortilla at the beginning, but as I kept eating and got closer to the center of the burrito then I was amazed. The burrito was so good, it was really filled and everything was seasoned perfectly and I love the size of the burrito as well that it was a good size for the price. It wasn't overly big as well. The salsa that it came with was pretty good as well and just the perfect amount of spicy to complement a breakfast burrito Service/Ambiance It's a small hole in the wall type of place, few seating but a kinda expansive menu. From the time I ordered to the time I received the burrito, service was relatively quick. Would definitely recommend this place if you are on the hunt for a good breakfast burrito. Would definitely come back

If it's good enough for Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Trevor McGill who grew up in our little area of these United States, it's good enough for me. This place is the embodiment of family. Ran and operated by probably the same people. Blue collar workers come in and out, fist bumps are given, its insane the whole feel of it all. There is clearly a culture, a family, and a town here; and they serve kick-ass food. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The Breakfast burrito was simple, not gonna sugarcoat it. But sometimes simple is great. It was warm, delicious. I saw they had pickled eggs too!? Insane and first time trying it, super full of flavor. Parking on Apple Maps was weird too, took me to the back of the restaurant instead of the front. Would come again. And I know why people come here; good food, good people.

Yelp did us a solid today! Absolutely delicious. The owner greeted us warmly and walked us through the Meats and sandwiches. I ordered a turkey, ham bacon fully dressed on sourdough and a pastrami. Superb in taste and preparation and sooo fresh. Hats off. A wonderful deli experience.

I had visited Nick's in Seal Beach based on 'best burrito' list. Well, it's smaller cousin, Nick's Deli II delivers the same quality breakfast burrito-- hefty, filled with quality chorizo, eggs and cheese. It's not over the top big like some breakfast burritos. It's just plain good, with some salsa that gives it an extra zing. I went early (7:15 am) and it was delivered quick. The people who work there are very friendly, too.

Great breakfast burrito with exceptional service

What are the best times to go when it's not too busy?

    Week days after 2 pm

What's the soup of the day?

Ok so to the best of my knowledge the list goes like this. Monday is chicken noodle Wednesday is chicken and rice Thursday lintel soup Friday Saturday and Sunday is clam chowder. The only one I'm not too certain on Tuesday. I believe that may be…

What time do they stop serving breakfast?

It is served all day! You can get anything on the menu at all times 👍🏻

Closed and it's 7 pm on a Friday?

They close early- 5pm. It's a known breakfast and lunch spot, dinner not so much.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the prime rib was only available during Father's Day weekend. It would have been nice if that little detail had been mentioned in the post that inspired the trip. Since we were already there and starving, we decided to stay. Mistake #1. The medium rare top sirloin arrived looking like it had lost a fight with a blowtorch. It was so overcooked and rubbery that we couldn't finish it. We brought the leftovers home thinking at least our dog would enjoy it. She sniffed it and walked away. For anyone who has ever owned a dog, you understand how impressive that is. The meatloaf somehow managed to transport me back to my hospital room after my appendectomy. If you've ever wondered what institutional cafeteria food tastes like with a side of disappointment, order the meatloaf. The coleslaw appeared to be made from aging cabbage with visible brown and pink bruising throughout. To save myself a trip to urgent care, I passed on trying it. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that showed signs of life, but the gravy was so salty it could probably preserve a mummy and contained the dried skin that forms when gravy sits out too long. Even the lemon slices in our water glasses were slimy. The atmosphere felt less like a destination restaurant and more like the dining room of an assisted living facility. The average age of the patrons appeared to be somewhere around 78, which honestly started making sense once the food arrived. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was pleasant, but she seemed just as confused as we were about what was actually available on the menu. We left hungry, annoyed, and wondering how many other people had made the same pilgrimage after seeing that Instagram post. At this point, I have to question whether @laoc.eats actually eats at the places being promoted or just photographs them. This was our second disappointing restaurant recommendation from that account, and it may be the last time we use it as a dining guide. Forty minutes there. Forty minutes back. One edible side dish. I should have just stayed home and made a sandwich.

My friends and I were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to make the 15 minute walk over, and it ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming. The cashier was incredibly kind and patient, and even though the place was busy, everything moved quickly and smoothly. There were people studying, having conversations, relaxing with friends, and it just had that perfect coffee shop energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The coffee itself was amazing. It tasted smooth, fresh, and honestly addictive without being overpowering. You could tell there was real care put into making it. Some places are overhyped, but this one actually lived up to the feeling people look for when they want a "good coffee shop experience." This is one of those places that becomes part of the memory of a trip. I would genuinely come back to SoCal just to visit this coffee shop again.

Hits, lattes? HITS HARDER, new drinks like their walnut latte? Oh you bet it's fire. Their VTM coffee tastes very very authentic as well and I'm very obsessed with this place. When you enter and specially in the morning they're usually busy so you do have to stand in the line to order or go straight and pick up the order online if you've made one online. One annoying thing is the amount of single use disposable plastic they use. All the drinks come in plastic cups, even water, the salsas come in those small salsa containers with lids. I'm no tree hugger, but i think we do have a responsibility to be conscientious and not create more waste and trash than necessary. Just buy reusable and wash the dishes. It just seems lazy. You can tell the owner is trying to save money wherever they can, to the detriment of their customers and the environment. If they had servers taking orders at your table and real serve ware, the experience would have been better and maybe we'd plan to come back, but as it stands now we won't be back. My husband said "they don't know who they are", and I agree.
