Came to craft'd for some saturday morning "breakfast". My wife loves this spot for their shakes and…read moreteas. I got myself a protein coffee, my expectations blown out of the water! I got the Cinnamon Dulce protein coffee, it was smooth, consistent and delicious. This drink did not taste or feel like 'protein' but rather DID taste like an iced cinnamon dulce latte. Craft'd did a great job on this one! The cafe is sleek and modern, featuring bar and bench seating. The feel is somewhere between modern nutrition cafe and "small town" local shop. A great spot for a quick and easy meal-replacement drink, meetup with a friend or have a seat and get some work done.

I ended up getting something called the grinch at the time. It was too sweet for my personal liking, but I still finished it. It just tasted like a generic energy drink, that kind of sweetness to it. They had some people there but they left shortly and I was there studying in a pretty much empty space with my friend. It was really nice. They do keep the music on the louder side. But no worries it's still manageable to do work. The following time I went, I ordered a cucamelon that was made I kid you not, in about 1 minute or less. This was sweeter than the grinch I had. I was making that scrunch face that usually happens when you have something really sweet or sour. My friend ordered a protein latte and it was.... interesting. I just one sip and it tasted like water and ?? Not coffee... no idea how to describe it. It was not good. The service this time around was very, VERY bland and off putting. I remember my friend asking questions and the cashier not feeling too enthusiastic about answering. After sitting down and getting set up to do some work, I would notice the girl would go back and forth between her phone & if someone walked in. she was making drinks super fast, even another customer had commented on it. My drink, the cucamelon, being sweet & all still had all the powder stuff on the bottom. My first sip was powder and water I almost choked on the powder. The drinks aren't great in my opinion. They're on the sweet side & the coffee tastes nothing like coffee even though I understand it's supposed to be a protein powder and whatnot. This place is ideal to get work done as it's never really busy. I would go after noon and if people came it was all to go orders. But very slow. I remember asking the girl what time they closed and she just kind of looked at me and said "7" and I swear she rolled her eyes or something it was such a weird interaction. But life goes on and I liked the quiet and empty space for studying. One restroom is in the back. There's ample seating for the size of the location. Public plaza parking. So far I'm not liking the drinks. Out of three things I've tried it's hard to see myself coming back.

Plenty of parking in this shopping center every Saturday I've ever come. Always my favorite protein shake to get because youre going to get a little extra that didn't fit into the cup. Pay and go get your after workout stretch in and the shake will be ready by the time you're done They definitely have a ton of shakes to choose from and no issues with customizing any of them. They also sell protein snacks and energy drinks as well

They have variety of smoothies for the gym folks , snacks , and simple food like sandwiches. I got a peanut butter smoothie with extra protein , I noticed it had glutamine in it which is cool (not sure what it's for but has to be healthy LOL) . They have a variety of supplements and proteins to put in your smoothie so if you want a quick smoothie that'll fit your protein intake come here ! The lady was nice and got me my smoothie quickly , even gave me a small cup with what was remaining of the smoothie in the blender , loved that & it was super yummy. It is inside the LA fitness, I just stepped in and went straight to it . I didn't wait long for my smoothie but I did look at all the gym goers while the lady was preparing it .... Really made me think about joining LA fitness, the gym looked nice . Parking is plenty as obviously it's in the gym .

I visited today in the early evening, and there was a bit of a line because of their $5 acai bowl special for Acai National Day. There were only two people working, the cashier and someone making the smoothies, but even with the crowd, I waited no more than 5 minutes for my order. I got my boyfriend the $5 acai primo bowl, topped with strawberries, blueberries, banana, and granola. I had a bite and it was good. The toppings were fresh, though I wish the base was a bit more tart. I also redeemed my small smoothie birthday reward and got the Mango-a-Go-Go. It was made thick, just the way I like it. Some of my other favorite smoothies here are the Strawberry Surfrider and Caribbean Passion.

I recently joined Jamba Rewards and was given a welcome reward of 50% off a smoothie. I used it at…read morethe Cerritos location, and shortly after, I received another 50% off reward; this time, it was for any food item that wasn't a bowl. Both rewards were valid for about 2 weeks after issue. With a couple days left until expiry, I used the 50% off any food item reward at the Lakewood location, which is located at Restaurant Row on Candlewood just west of Clark. I arrived about 20 minutes after opening on a Thursday morning, and there was one other customer inside the shop placing her order, giving me some time to study the menu. Knowing that the food item doesn't include a bowl, that really narrowed my menu choices down to just the "Bites" section of the menu. The lone employee (Jonathan?) working that morning confirmed that was the case. I went with the Classic Handwich, normally $5.99, since I highly doubt I would want to pay full price on any given day, so I used the 50% off opportunity to see if it was really worth the $5.99 price tag. A Classic Handwich is composed of sausage, egg, and white cheddar cheese on a sprouted grain bun. After I placed my order, Jonathan opened a fridge underneath the toaster oven and took out a wrapped breakfast sandwich. He placed the sandwich in front of the oven while he went to prepare the other customer's order. At first, I thought he may have done things out of order, but maybe he was just waiting for the oven to warm up? Luckily, it took only 4 minutes before Jonathan handed me my Classic Handwich in a bag similar to one that would hold a cookie or some other baked good from a coffee shop. I was looking forward to the Handwich, but was a little surprised at how small it was for the price point. For the same price, at least the normal one, you could get a way bigger sandwich at Dunkin. But maybe the sandwich would taste good? Well, yes and no. While I liked the taste of the sandwich, it was only to a certain extent that I can safely say I'd never want to pay over $6 for a sandwich that small. Not only that, but I also wasn't offered any ketchup or some other sauce that could have elevated the flavor profile by quite a margin. I also wasn't offered any napkins; I had to get one myself at the front counter. As I was leaving, Jonathan welcomed me as I was leaving. What?! First time for everything I guess lol. I had to correct him by saying "Have a nice day." I didn't get the impression he wanted to be working that early in the morning; either that, or he must have woken up on the wrong side of bed. They have a display case of their bites at the front counter as well, but at the time of my visit, there were only soft pretzels and Belgian-style waffles inside. Next to that display case is a kiosk where you can place your order if you want one fewer interaction with an employee here. They also have a fridge and some bags of snacks by the left wall. However, at the time of my visit, they mainly had bottles of Smartwater inside the fridge, and all but one of the snack bags were Stacy's chips. Pretty sad selection of grab & go snacks/drinks if you ask me! I doubt you'd find a lesser variety at, say, a Nekter Juice Bar! Overall, 5 stars out of 10, but I'm rounding down because of my first visit 7 to 8 years ago where I ordered a strawberry smoothie on a really hot summer day, and it didn't do a good job of cooling me off that day. Plus, service was also pretty flat in that the employees working that day weren't appreciative of my business or even my willingness to make the trek in spite of the heat wave going on back then. Jonathan's level of service wasn't much different that morning. Next time I visit a Jamba, it will almost certainly be in a city not named Lakewood.
