I cannot recommend Winsome Brides enough. I worked with both Bekah and Christina, and not only were they great stylists, but they made me feel like I was just another girlfriend to make it fun and made me feel so beautiful. They helped me find the perfect dress that I had envisioned for my big day within my budget. Beyond finding the dress, the customer service and support, especially in the craziness of planning a wedding during a pandemic, was soooo appreciated. The dress was technically a size down from my normal but was almost there in fitting and it was so convenient that they had an in-house seamstress to make it fit me perfectly. I even had them do my husband's alterations even though he didn't purchase through them or one of their partners and they were able to sew in the sweetest sentiment for my husband's late grandfather so that he could be with him on our big day even in heaven. The best bridal dress shopping experience ever!!! Christina is amazing. She had a cute poster board with my name on it and she made me and my mom feel at home. I told her what I was looking for and she pulled out some dresses for me to try on. The dresses are very affordable and most importantly, they can alter any dress. She also sells and rents tuxedos for the grooms. The only reason I didn't purchase my wedding dress is because my dad bought my dress in Los Angeles. Even though I didn't purchase my dress here, I will forever remember the wonderful experience I had at this store. Go here you won't regret it. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I had previously worked/managed a bridal boutique before becoming a bride and was worried about what it would be like going shopping for myself. I was so pleased with everything this shop has to offer. Christina is so sweet, knowledgable and does not pressure anything! She goes above and beyond for everyone I saw her work with. My daughter got engaged during covid. We went dress shopping to get an idea of what she liked. We visited a small boutique that ended up high pressuring her into saying "yes" to a dress she tried on. Although it was a gorgeous dress it was not anything our daughter felt comfortable wearing. When the dress arrived she called to ask if any alterations could be made to the dress and was immediately told no. She ended up getting another dress elsewhere and then looked for options to sell the 1st dress. Winsome Brides were amazing! They took the dress on consignment and sold it for her. Within a couple of days of selling the dress they contacted me to arrange payment since my daughter is out of the country. Needless to say I am grateful for the service and professionalism Winsome Brides provided us. I wish we had gone to Winsome Brides in the first place because I am sure it would have been a much better experience than the small boutique we originally purchased from in Carlsbad. I went here today for an appointment and it was one of the nicest experiences I've had in my wedding planning thus far! As a plus size bride, it has been difficult in identifying styles that I like that also flatter my body. Then if I do find one I like, lord help me if it's in my size. I had no problem finding so many dresses to try on today! Their selection of larger dresses is incredible and beautiful. I never once felt my size as an obstacle, when I have so often during this wedding dress search. The owners are so attentive and accommodating. They helped every step of the way from getting the dresses on, to clipping them and showing us what could be done with alterations. Their prices are so reasonable for the quality of dresses that they have in store. I didn't find my dress today, but they were able to share with me some brands and styles to look for in other stores and even how to ask when I'm shopping so that I can save some money. I will definitely be back to see new inventory that they have and even if I find a dress elsewhere I will 100% be using their alteration services. I am very disappointed in the owner, Christina's customer service. I had dropped off my wedding gown for her and her team to alter my dress, on May 1, 2019. She said my dress would be ready end of May. A month later passed by and I called her on May 30th. Come to find out I had to remind her who I was. She told me my dress wasn't worked on bc she fired the guy who she so much raved about to work on my wedding dress. Therefore my expensive wedding dress was sitting in her shop for a WHOLE MONTH and she did not bother to call me and give me the courtesy to tell me she had fired her seamstress and waited for me to call her 30 days later to check if my dress was ready. So that happened. She then convinced me she had ANOTHER awesome seamstress who she thought would alter my dress perfectly. So I gave her another chance and rescheduled my appt with her again. On June 22nd I call to tell her I'm on my way to the appt. AGAIN I have to remind her who I was and then she tells me she FORGOT about our appt. and the seamstress GALA wasn't in town. As a Bride this is ABSOLUTELY NOT the customer service we want or as a regular customer. I then of course told her how disappointed for the SECOND time I was with her. She really didn't seem to care and admitted she dropped the ball. I went to go pick up my wedding dress and had one of her workers Becca assist me instead of her apologizing to my face and the owner. It was all her fault. The least she could of done was show face but no had her worker attend me. I will NEVER come back to her again NOR refer her to anyone. Her customer service is AWFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL! read more
