We booked with Norma based on available time and proximity to our hotel. I am ever so glad we picked her. We showed up at a townhouse, super cute, but I thought for sure I had the wrong place. We entered a space that was clean and calming. Norma's demeanor was professional, welcoming, and very soothing. My mother explained we were trying to do a mother-daughter day. Norma smiled and said it would be her pleasure to care for us both. We had side-by-side rooms. After a quick assessment, she recommended receiving the Signature Facial for both of us. She juggled us both without showing a sense of being juggled. I felt very calm and cared for but most importantly, I felt that Norma was taking the most excellent care of my Mother. This facial was the second one in my life and I am in awe of the difference it has truly made to my skin. It is quite obvious that she is very knowledgeable about skin and its care and that she is passionate about educating others about a continued skin care regimen. Other reviewers have said they felt like they have known Norma their entire life, and it is true; she welcomes you, cares for you, and advises you about skincare like a dear friend. It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. My mom wanted a very light and relaxing massage and I needed a deep tissue massage to work out knots. Kelli has very strong hands and worked the knots on my back relentlessly. She was extremely knowledgeable about the skin and what your body is telling you through your skin. She did a great job and our faces looked and felt amazing after. The spa is a little hidden in a business office environment and it's no frills unlike other spas (i.e. You're not going to hang out in a tea room in a robe), however the place was very clean, cozy, smelled great, and each room was designed perfectly and had the proper cozy ambience.
