Wiring Integrity sent two guys to "consult" with me about adding electrical service to a new garage I intend to build. They spent two hours looking around, didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, and presented me with an invoice for $350. I paid, even though it didn't feel right. I'm new to the area and I told a friend about the experience. He recommended another electrician whom I called. The other electrician came out. He gave good advice on adding electrical service to my new garage. He also fixed a mysterious loose wire in my main electrical panel. He charged $90 for the visit. It is an age old story: plug in iron and plunge yourself into darkness! So I made my way to the circuit breaker and did the only thing I know how to do -- I flipped the switch. Nothing happened. Having exhausted the full measure of my electrical knowledge/expertise, I needed help. Two years earlier, the folks from my homeowner's warranty had sent Wiring Integrity into my life to solve the case of the exploding light bulbs in my bathroom. They had done a great job fixing the problem, and although it turned out it wasn't covered under my warranty they honored it anyway. All I had to pay was the warranty's service fee. So when this nasty problem reared it's head, I definitely knew who to call. Once again, the husband and wife team at Wiring Integrity rode in and saved the day. Hubby (they call each other "hubby" and "wifey" -- too cute!) immediately diagnosed the problem and got to work fixing it. Basically I had a main breaker that was so fried it had turned nearly to dust! We had our house serviced early May. Have not had an issue in the last 45 days and these guys deserve the best 5-star review I can give them. If you have a Zinsco and are nonplussed about a possible multi-thousand-dollar replacement service to get a different panel, do yourself a huge favor and check these folks out. What is there in a name? In the case of this company, earnest fulfillment. We just bought a house, and discovered that it had a nice and convenient mysterious power issue wherein the house would lose the lights and most outlets would quit working at one time or another the whole day. Nothing like an electricity issue after you've put in your notice from your old residence to make you sweat bullets, right? I sent them a message after their posted hours. I received a response within an hour (while they were closed) from Aubree at Wiring Integrity! They handled everything in the sort of grassroots, small family business fashion that is hard to find today. They asked for a few pictures of the suspected culprit in email. I gave them as much info as I could hazard regarding the apparent arcing on the panel. A few emails back and forth and they were going to come out. Despite a misunderstanding in how/when the appointment was scheduled, they were able to accommodate us on very short-notice within a few days. Niko and Bella had us sorted out within a few hours, and were willing to entertain me on some banter about what exactly was wrong with our panel. I had an electrical problem, and after getting the run around from other electricians, called Wiring Integrity. We ended up having to use a different company to have it covered under our warranty, but I will DEFINITELY be using Wiring Integrity next time (I have a couple projects coming up that I will need an electrician on). I called today, which is Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. Im having an issue that PG&E says if it isnt fixed today, they'll disconnect the power. Other electricians told me "its the day before Thanksgiving! You can't just expect us to come out!". First off, its the day BEFORE thanksgiving, its not a freaking holiday. One told me he was currently at the grocery store, but would come out for $200 extra. Wiring Integrity said that they would come out in 2 hours, and that it would be about $100 to fix -- I was quoted over the phone by someone else for $250. He then advised me to try to use the new electrician that the warranty company was sending out, because saving money sounds like a good idea. HONEST PEOPLE WONT TELL YOU SOMETHING LIKE THAT. He also seemed to understand that customers sometimes need things fixed right before a holiday where it's common to have family over, and use ELECTRIC appliances, and that having our power shut off would be a bad thing. He had me send him pics of the electric panel, so that if we do end up needing him to rush out today, he knows exactly what hes getting into. This husband and wife pair were available at our desire time, they were prompt and immediately began to troubleshoot my problem with flickering and voltage drop on my master bedroom circuit. The problem was quickly diagnosed and two new breakers were installed into my box. Another issue with our GFI circuits was identified and we were also educated on how best to manage the power to avoid tripping our breakers. Price for the initial visit was pre-quoted and the additional cost for the parts and repairs was extremely reasonable. Found this company on Yelp and was not disappointed. I had a couple lights that weren't working and after several frustrating attempts at fixing the problem myself, I called Wiring Integrity. First, I was in a time crunch and Bella rearranged their schedule to get my job done. Before Nico and Bella even arrived, Bella had asked me several questions on the phone so they could troubleshoot the issue. Their professionalism and thoroughness made it so they were able to immediately identify and fix the problem. As they fixed the wiring to my light fixture, Nico took the time to explain and show me what he was doing, so I had peace of mind it was done right and I could do it myself in the future. Another fixture, unfortunately, was a little more complicated. The wiring from the light switch to the plug was broken behind the wall. The costs to have this repaired could have gone into the thousands and involved some construction, but Bella and Nico gave me a couple simpler options that cost me a total of $10. We own a rental house and our tenant lost power for internet and phone in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic. I called on a Friday afternoon and Paul's wife responded back within 10 minutes. The short... Niko, Paul, Aubrey and the entire team have exceed my expectations of what an electrician business should be! They are knowledgeable, take the time to fully understand the problem, do quality work and are reasonably priced. As a property manager with an electronics background, I am the first line handyman for my 8 rental properties and can do my own basic electrical work. When I need an electrical expert, Wiring Integrity is who I will call from now on. The long... One of my houses has aluminum wiring. As explained to me by Niko, aluminum wiring is great for high voltage/low amperage applications but residential electrical is low(ish) voltage/high amperage. One circuit in particular at this house meandered all the way around the house and previous owners had spliced into it in multiple locations. About once a year, my tenant would run her industrial hairdryer and find the next failure point in this over-spliced and over-loaded aluminum wiring circuit. The first time I called Wiring Integrity, they spent a good deal of time to find that the wiring on this circuit had been nicked by a drywall screw years ago and had finally shorted out inside the wall. Niko and team were able to abandon that part of the circuit and reroute power around the trouble spot. The circuit shorted again last month, but in a new location. Niko reviewed his notes from the previous work on the house and the drawing I sent him. Niko suggested we abandon the entire aluminum circuit and run 3 separate copper circuits to replace the overloaded aluminum circuit. Niko and team did all the engineering and were able to completely rewire the back of my house in less than a week. Only one piece of conduit from the fuse box to the attic in the back of the house was needed and they were able to work within the restraints of my existing breaker panel without need for a redesign. The fours holes in the walls were cut out and replaced so that I only had to spackle the lines around the cuts. All this sounds expensive, but considering the scope of work, Wiring Integrity still came in with an estimate that was less than I had expected. After the work was done, all outlets and lights worked properly and the boxes for the ceiling fans were upgraded to boxes rated for ceiling fans. All this and Wiring Integrity did not exceed their original quote. read more

We were having some serious electrical issues. lights and appliances would go out and come back on all by themselves.
