During the adjusting process the employees were very patient, knowledgeable and understanding. Even after the adjustments I could not comfortably wear them. I went in for what was the final attempt at adjusting but to no avail. They asked me to see if I could find another pair that I liked which I did. Upon inquiring about my cost I was told they would do a swap with me. My new glasses are very comfortable and amazingly light. My wait time for the first pair was 1 hour and the second one was 1.5 hours, that is what I call excellent service. Each person I dealt with could not have been nicer or more professional. My optician Brianne Scanlon takes her time with you but doesn't waste any. She is great. After the exam Park Place Optical took over to get me the best fit for glasses. I liked the last frames that I purchased at my last exam but had an accident and the bows were bent so I had gone back to another pair of old glasses. Marianne was able to fix the frame so I could use them for my new lenses. They have lots of frames but I am one of those people who doesn't like change so I was appreciative that Marianne was able fix them. I will continue to go to park Place Optical and recommend them to others. It is nice to find a caring place.

UPS tracking confirmed my order was delivered to the store on 8/3 at 9am and signed for by someone named Jesse. I arrived around 5pm the same day to pick it up. The associate helping me at the counter, also named Jesse, could not locate my order anywhere and told me to come back another day. I do not understand how an order that arrived at 9am, and is a medical device I need to see, could not be processed and made available within the same business day. When I walked in trying to get help, an associate was sitting on their phone, so it clearly was not a staffing or time issue. Since then I have tried every channel available to get this resolved. I called customer service and went through a long phone tree only to be told the department was closed. I contacted live chat twice. In the first chat, I was told the order would be "investigated" with no real timeline, just a case number, and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, the agent ended the chat entirely without any response. In the second chat, a different agent told me chat cannot transfer to a supervisor at all and that I would need to call in. Days later, I still do not have my contacts. Tracking shows they were delivered and signed for at the store, but no one on staff or in support has been able to explain where they actually are or produce them. I have had to escalate this in writing to the company directly and file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and my vision insurance provider just to try to get a refund. If you are considering in-store pickup for a time-sensitive item like contacts, be aware that "delivered to store" does not mean the store can actually find or give you your order, and getting help when something goes wrong is extremely difficult. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have had, and I would not rely on this store or this pickup option again.

I took a friend of mine from Africa to this Walmart Vision Center and thanks to Scott, the optician…read moreon duty, we had a wonderful and even delightful experience. The Walmart reservation system had some kind of glitch because the appointment I had made a few days earlier did not show up, even though a woman on duty there remembered entering it. But Scott went the extra mile to help us. Even though it was nearly the end of his work day, he created a new appointment on the spot and took us into the testing area to do thorough testing. It took longer than normal because my friend was a Swahili speaker and so I and another friend he brought along (a native Swahili speaker with some English skills to augment my rough Swahili) were translating slowly. For the interview and lens testing, they had an outside translating service with a professional translator, but the line dropped after a while and so we were back to slower translation. But Scott stayed cheerful and patient, and displayed really impressive people skills with my friend, making the experience very positive even fun. I would almost recommend that medical professionals go get an eye exam from Scott to learn how to treat prone with kindness and a focus on their needs. I later learned that Scott stated well past the end of his work day (I think 30 minutes past) to help us. The result was a lens system he could test as a prototype that delighted him with clear vision for the first time. Big smile! Glasses will be ready in a few more days. Scott's kindness and sacrifice really touched me. He said he was just happy to help a customer. I could tell he was all about service. One of the best customer service experiences ever. Also much lower cost than other places. $88 for the exam, and the glasses were also very reasonable.

How this went: I called, asked if I could hold - sure. Hung up on me. OK.. Called back a few minutes later to be put on hold again. Waited a few minutes and Linda answered. I asked if they accepted care credit. She asks her associate if the accept share credit. Care. Care. She's talking over me. They do. Great. Please quote me a basic eye exam without vision insurance. She says they run the insurance the day before the appointment.... Linda, I don't have vision insurance, please quote without insurance. She says office visit is $59. I ask if that will give me my glasses prescription. She says no that's just the office visit. OK, Linda, then can you quote me for the exam with a prescription? She says "the doctor will write you a prescription at the end of the exam, that's how it always works." you literally just told me that didn't come with the prescription, then told me it always does like I'm some kind of dumby. Wth Linda?! Since lenscrafters is the same price and has competent people answering the phones, I'll be going there instead. Tl;Dr crappy phone service, doesn't listen to answer questions properly, unsure and mixed answers.

FF 3 weeks, still no help. Finally called Johnson for relevant information, called the manufacturer & they talked me thru the upload in about 90 seconds.
