We asked her to photograph our parents and us (their children and families) for their 50th wedding anniversary. There were 6 adults and 6 kids ages 1-13, and she captured many great photos with different groupings of our families, incorporating ideas from kids and adults alike. Her comment that "Mom and dad always want a picture with just their kids" inspired a favorite portrait moment. I have been waiting to write a review about our horrendous experience with these photographers…read moresince 2011 and am finally doing so to help prevent other couples from being scammed by Bello the way that we were. We inquired about this couple-photographer's pricing and agreed to a meeting, where we were hard-pitched their wedding services and pressured to put down a $1,000 deposit to save a date while we considered hiring them. They verbally made it clear that the $1,000 was non-binding and that we could take our time to decide, and let them know. The very next day we decided against hiring Bello. Frankly, their services are drastically over-priced based on other photographers price points for similar work/experience. Well, guess what? In less than 24-hours they had cashed out check and refused to reimburse us. This resulted in a heated back and forth that ultimately lead to the wife saying our only option was to hire them, or we would not get our $1,000 back. Clearly, by that point she and her husband were the LAST people we wanted there on our wedding day. We never were reimbursed and we went with a different Cape Cod-based photographer but this experience still haunts me 5 years later. It was a low point in my wedding planning to have to deal with such a slimy, scandalous, downright horrible business - and they should simply be ashamed of themselves as people. I would beg everyone considering this photographer - for your wedding or other important life event - to reconsider. If this was how they treated a potential customer I cannot even image what it must be like to engage with them through the lifespan of a full photo session, wedding or project. Buyer beware!!!!

All I can say is WOW. Nicki (and her husband Zack) are everything you want in wedding photographers…read moreto capture one of the arguably most important days of your life. We contacted Nicki after falling in love with our friends' elopement pictures she had done and let her know of our wild, non traditional plan of eloping on a hot air balloon in VT, surrounded by our immediate family members. Right off the bat, they were down for the adventure! We did an engagement session prior to the wedding and it's SO clear how much they truly love what they do. I was worried we would be incredibly awkward, but they made the day fun and comfortable and it felt more like walking around Boston with new friends- who happen to be taking your picture. After leaving, my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much and if it wasn't clear before, when we got those photos we knew we picked the perfect photographers to capture our wedding. For our ceremony, they trekked all the way to VT to stay at an inn with our families. When the weather was jeopardizing our plan to get married in a hot air balloon (leaving us with no viable plan B) Nicki and Zack were calm and supportive and offered to scout pretty VT locations we could get married. We ended up having a chance of the weather clearing and being able to go up in the balloon, and after a long ride to the launch site in a sprinter with 12 of us, and then waiting for almost an hour in the rain to see if it was possible we'd be able to fly, the pilot finally called it and we were not going to be able to go up in the balloon. That's when Nicki and Zack sprung into action- taking umbrellas out of their trunk and seeking out the perfect spot. We were leaving that field married, and they were going to make it the most beautiful ceremony they could! We quite literally got married on the side of the road on someone's private property, in the pouring rain, and it was the MOST magical and beautiful moment of our lives. We just got our album and it's so incredible how talented they are- the photos make it look like that was the plan all along! Going through the album took us back to that day and gave me chills! If you're looking for a wedding photographer, stop looking and hire Nicki- I would HIGHLY recommend her and Zack!

They are artistic and really capture the day. There are so many I want to frame. . .sigh, only so many walls to put pictures on. In addition to taking stunning photos, she has a very calming presence. That was important to us because my husband and I don't really like being the center of attention and taking tons of photos. She made us feel at ease and that really showed in the photos. During the wedding, even though she was able to get a ton of great shots, we honestly didn't realize she was around half the time, which was nice. I didn't want the guests of my intimate wedding to feel like they were swarmed by paparazzi.
