So I had the misfortune of having my truck broken into on Christmas eve, along with several others in the neighborhood. Quite disappointing. When asking around for recommendations on a good glass replacement company, several people immediately recommended Wisecracks. After my experience, I can see why. Eddy from Wisecracks was the best. Outstanding customer service! Responsive, knowledgeable, excellent communication, great followup and a great price. Let me explain: Since it was the holidays there were not many places open. I left a message with Eddy and received a call back immediately upon his return. He explained that since he had been away for a week, there was a couple of days backup. He gave me the date and time he could take care of me and called a couple of times to confirm arrival. I have an older vehicle and explained that the last time my window was broken, the repair did not go well. I explained the issue and he knew exactly what the problem was. He explained what he would do to ensure this broken window would not have the problem. Additionally, he took a look at my other window and made a couple of tweaks that helped it work much better! I also expressed concern that it might be difficult to get the window. No problem...during our initial call he located a window and had it reserved for our appointment. I cannot give enough praise for Eddie and Wisecracks. We have hired them three or four times to repair windows in our daughter's car. She lives in Oakland where her car is broken into a lot. The last time this happened, we had only one day in which to get the repair done. Eddie bent over backward to make this happen for us. When he discovered that particular window was not in stock he went in search of it for us. He found it and was able to send someone out to repair the window. His customer service is THE BEST!!! We must have had 5 or 6 phone conversations to figure out how to get the window. He could have said, Sorry, no can do, but instead he doubled down to accommodate our schedule. Eddie truly deserves these 5 star ratings! I've had a pretty decent sized crack in my windshield for probably a year now, it started as a tiny crack and grew. I knew I should have gotten it fixed earlier but I didn't care at the time. So anyway, I go online to get a quote from safelight and for a windshield replacement, they quoted me $350 and that's in store service. That's wayyy more then I could afford, forget them! Then I look online and I see wisecracks had all these 5 star reviews. So I call and talk to Eddie about getting the windshield replaced, he calls me back within 10 minutes with a quote of less then half of what safelight was going to charge! And he said he would come to my house to replace it! I was soo happy I called. He was very nice and professional. Said the replacement would take about an hour and a half but it couldn't have been more than an hour. I am a very happy customer. Will be doing all windshield repairing with wisecracks!
