After a windshield recall, the Ford dealership broke my rearview mirror while reattaching it and refused to replace it and wasn't qualified to even fix it, saying it was aftermarket. The next morning on the day of my appointment, the technician, Carlos, called and left a voicemail (and texted me) asking if I was interested in an earlier time that day, I called him back and said sure. He showed up 10 minutes early, I unlocked the car and he got to work. So I contacted 6 different auto glass repair places and i got quoted very drastic price differences. This service was mobile and was $120 cheaper than the the next cheapest place. And that was for OEM glass of an 06 ford mustang coupe. They also had the highest rating on yelp. So price was good and seemed like the service and quality was great. So I messaged through yelp and set up an appointment with a 4 hour time frame. Javier arrived and was professional, and said it would take about an hour. The new OEM glass looks great, and got new molding. The most important thing to me was the pony logo on the glass. Had to replace the rear window on my truck, my wife called and got us mobile service to our home around 4:30 which was the end of my work day, so timing was perfect. Josh came over and did an amazing job. He kept knocking on the door to release the small glass pieces that got stuck at the bottom of the door. I initially contacted a different company to come and install a new windshield for my companies very large F-450 bucket truck. Someone broke the vent glass on my car. I saw the great yelp reviews and contacted Velocity Auto Glass for repair. It is Saturday at 8:30 am. Yelp says they are open til noon today. When I called, their answering machine said their office was closed & said to submit quote request online. I did so, which consisted of basically sending an email with my auto glass info. I received a message back saying their offices are closed today, but how can they help me. Auto glass service closed on Saturday?? If they are closed today they can't help me at all! We had loads of sap drip on our windshield. We tried for weeks to get the sap off using about every chemical known to man. We improved it but it was far from being in good shape. So we ultimately decided to replace the windshield. It was funny that the Velocity service person called initially confused because there was a windshield already there but understood after I pointed out all the sap.
