Outstanding beer, food, staff and service. We enjoyed sitting at the bar for beers and apps.

I saw someone posted a review on July 11 about this place and I'm really surprised because I was…read morethere the afternoon of the 11th and had a completely different experience. I am not disqualifying their experience but it is very odd it was so different. It was a hot, humid, rainy Saturday and the A/C was just fine when we got in. I will admit my first view through the door was a little hesitant but push on in and it was fine. The design goes for a comfy industrial setting. They have a good selection of beer and cocktails using a lot of local producers so there is a wonderful chance for you to find what you want to drink. The prices on the menu looked a little steep but the servings were generous and the food was very good. I had the best wings I've had in a long time with a nice crispness to the skin. My wife and I had a good time and found it lots of fun. If I was going to suggest a change it would be some sort of uniform for the servers. Hypsters in comfortable clothing fine but the issue is they blend in with some of the customers. I was talking to one guy thinking he was a server. It's one thing to be comfortable but professionally you need to stand out from the customers. but otherwise, this was a great time.

She poured us warm water (seriously!) and took our drink orders. We waited another 15 minutes for 3 of the worst mixed drinks. Turns out they had 2 novice bartenders working that didn't know what they were doing. (From our server's mouth!) We paid our tab and left for much better establishments down the street.

I've been here 5 times over the last year since it's close to work and the experience has been…read moregreat every time! While it seems like a typical beer and food pub restaurant, they do go an extra mile with their their own craft beer offerings. Although not always explicitly on the menu, the servers and/or bartenders know what food to pair specifically with their beers, much like wine and cheese pairings. For Halloween they even did a cool candy and beer pairing flight. The food is pretty affordable as well. This is a great place for happy hour (4-6pm) for a get together with friends!

Tried Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant for the first time in North Wales, PA as I wasn't familiar…read morewith the chain and wanted to see what they had on offer. Their menu consists of a decent variety of brewpub and American fare. The bar area has woodsy vibes while the seating areas have random murals on the wall reminiscent of a retro diner. I started off with truffle fries and a side Caesar salad. The truffle fries (3/5) were pretty middle of the rung and underwhelming...some of the fries were over-saturated and didn't have much truffle flavor. The Caesar salad (3/5) was very average and typical of a chain with an underwhelming dressing. The cheeseburger (3.5/5) was a slight bit above average, but the bun itself looked like a supermarket bun and left much to be desired. A better quality bun or some butter/toasting would have gone a long way in improving quality. Service (3.5/5) was friendly, but somewhat impersonal as I was never asked how the food was and if I liked everything as items were brought out. Perhaps I didn't get the allure since I didn't try any of the Iron Hill beer brews, but this was a pretty middle of the rung and average food experience for me such that I probably wouldn't have Iron Hill on my radar for a future dining experience, but wouldn't mind returning if friends wanted to meet up with me there.
