Round House is a wonderful local spot with great drinks and service! Service and ambiance are great, we especially love the outdoor patio seating, including the heaters and string lights. The dedicated parking lot is also a huge plus for busy weekend nights! So far I've only had the Pony Club cocktail, which was absolutely fantastic! Hubs has also enjoyed all of the beers he's tried to date. Food is good, but nothing special. The fries are super tasty and they actually make a mean grilled cheese (on the lunch menu). Nothing has been out of this world and there have been small inconsistencies with the menu, but it does the job and the drinks are what matter! read more

Decent location. Decent beers. Decent food. They were short staffed the evening we went in, but that didn't stop them from being very helpful! I went with a flight, and was about 50/50 on the four. The IPAs were good - I had the version 2 and a hazy. They weren't overly hoppy but very "crushable". I also got the watermelon seltzer, but I'm not sure that's what was poured, as I tasted neither watermelon or the effervescence that comes with seltzer. Wasn't a fan of the Buddha stout, it just seemed to fall short on the body. The pierogis were really good - highly recommend them to accompany your beer! read more

AWESOME PLACE - GREAT VIBES, FOOD & DRINKS! Absolutely loved this place! My best friend and I met to do a candle making session on Main St. in Lansdale. We were hungry for a bite after, saw that around Guys was a minute walk away, so we decided to give it a shot. Upon seating, they let us know that Quizzo was starting and we could join if we'd like. We figured we'd give it a go, and man was this guy a riot. He definitely hit all the various categories of questions, giving everyone a chance to hopefully know some of them. I really appreciate that! He also encouraged participants to make up an answer if they weren't sure, and he might just give you points for it if it makes him laugh. Our server Rachael (that's what my receipt says but I don't recall that being their name) was enthusiastic and funny. The wings we got were absolutely delicious, I tried a coffee rub thinking I might not like it and it knocked my socks off! I had a lemon drop martini at the great price point of $10. I've trie d their beer before and it's decent. I'm not much of a micro-brew guy so I won't review them on that. I am an eater and can certainly give some insight into the food. We went on a Saturday afternoon about thirty minutes after they opened. We opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. I don't think they wanted us to sit out there as the bartender wasn't too happy to serve us. They should've not asked us if we wanted "to sit inside or outside". Anyways, service was okay and maybe that's the reason we were the only people there for over an hour on a Saturday... I should add that they limited most of the menu due to the kitchen only having one person working...I get it, the labor scene is a nightmare and she was the only one that showed up that day. I ordered the cheesesteak, which they make with sirloin, cooper - wit. I was pleasantly impressed with the cheesesteak. The meat had flavor, the cheese was mixed throughout as were the onions. Some of the onions were dark, almost like the sandwich sat under a salamander. But on closer inspection it looks like they were just cooked too long...only one person in the kitchen, if that's the worst thing that happened, that's pretty damn good. I would definitely stop by (if I was in the area) for the cheesesteak. I wouldn't make a trip to find it. But the service...that needs some polishing. If one person in the kitchen can put out food for a four top and nail nearly everything, a service staff hanging around doing nothing should be able to have some type of positive personality. read more

Me and my over-the-hill, wacko drinking buddy who for years passed right by this place to cross the street to Stove and Tap, decided to give this place a try. I've been drinking Round Guys brews for a few years now, and for a local brew, this shit is GOOD! Our tender at the bar was terrific at reco'ing the beers, and great service followed. The bar is kind of "dark" but so is one of my OTHER favorite places up the road in Harleysville. So I cut them some slack. Real nice beer selection, and as I said the one I decided on, an IPA-Session named "Transmission" I believe, was really nice, no overtaking citrus flavor to mask the flavor. 4 stars on beer advocate and rated 4 stars by me. We shared wings! Absolutely the BEST wings (wings of the day were Honey Chipotle) in Montco. 10 perfectly crisp wings at a most reasonable price, that stayed crisp even with the sauce on them. And they were still tender and juicy when you bit into them. I could eat them every day, no lie! 5+ stars! The Cubano Sandwich was good, could have been better, just not very interesting beyond the pickles and dijon mustard. 3.5 stars The fries on the side were delicious except for he fact that they were not crispy like I would have preferred. My friend had the mussels of the day, which was a low-in-flavor white wine concoction. Although the mussels were a beautiful size and texture, not pungent at all, it just wasn't beyond 3 stars. This was my 2nd time here and sad to say it wasn't consistent with my first experience. My chicken sandwich was a huge breast of fried chicken with no flavor and 1/2 burnt. The brioche bun was completely burned on inside. I didn't want to send it back because m always afraid something will be done to my food. My two friends got fish tacos and they said they were bland. However, another friend had the burger and it was fabulous. The dipping cheese for fries was beyond delicious. Definitely check out the brownie for desert! read more

First time checking this place out. Limited menu choices for gluten friendly and no markings. I asked if the soup of the day had dairy or flour and she didn't know but assumed it did because it was creamy lol. Ok?! Had the Pears Hilton drink without the Cinnamon Toast Crunch rim and it was good. Sexy fries were good but really greasy. Mahi mahi and jasmine rice special was delicious. This review is after several visit the past month or so. I love the Round Guys vibe previous to the revamp but the revamp is doing great things! Their cocktail game is tight!! I love their whiskey old fashioned and Sazarac along with a few other cocktails. I've had their fish & chips, wings, calamari, one of their pasta dishes. Great food! This place has a great selection of micro brews, ciders and even Mead. They also are generous in brew samples to figure out what you want. Food wise, the steak and cheese flat bread was definitely the messiest that I have had and probably one of the best too. Come here for the beer - this place has excellent service and is an overall good watering hole. We arrived at around 7:30 PM. We were told to sit wherever so we sat on the restaurant side and waited then for another 10 mins to then be noticed by someone and given menus. We got drinks and then ordered our food(nothing crazy just the quesadilla and fish & chips). At around 8:30 we STILL had not gotten our food and we had a 8:40 time at the local escape room so we had to go. Had to get up to find the one of the guys to get our check because our waitress was no where and had to send the check back because they included the food in the check which we never got. Got the right check then proceeded to pay when our waitress said that it was coming out very soon( like she had said 20 mins ago and it never came) and we said we had to be somewhere. She then said "oh I didn't know" like that would have changed anything. Don't blame me for you not putting a fire under the cooks butt when we have been sitting for 30-40 minutes without food. This isn't rocket science. This is easy brewery food. We should have been in and out in under 40 minutes and that's generous. It shouldn't be our job to tell you where we need to be. And if we had mentioned we had somewhere to be, we would have been judged and thought of to not come to sit down for dinner if we were under a time crunch (which we weren't to begin with but now we were because we were there for an hour and had not gotten our food). So disappointing. I want to support local businesses but service like this makes it difficult. We won't be back. To add; there was nobody in the restaurant except us and the people at the bar, so it wasn't busy at all. Really no excuse for this to happen. I am on a cheesesteak adventure. This isn't your father's cheesesteak!! Unless your father is German. This is more casual dining nice pub meal than just a cheesesteak!! The size (small) concerned me but everything was every tasty. It came with 2 sides. I got the German style (when in Rome) Potato salad and cole slaw. The Potato salad was very tasty. The cheesesteak was a little small but I did leave full. Very good beer selection and everyone was as friendly as could be. Very good overall experience. read more

Round Guys isn't the closest brewery to Philly, but it's worth a mini road trip or five. But if you hate driving as much as I do, no worries -- you can find their stuff in a bunch of local bars. I visited RGBC in early April for their anniversary event with a few friends. They had tables set up outside, the curd truck, and live music. It made for a great time. The only bummer is that they weren't offering flights that day based on the visitor volume. They did, however, offer small tasters when asked, which I thought was really nice. They were hustling! In addition to a TON of beers, they also offer a really nice food menu. I ordered the Iggy (pulled chicken, kinda spicy but good) that came with two sides for ~$10. The dish was big and I couldn't finish the sandwich. My table also tried the pretzel bites. I had one and it was delicious! As for the beer, I've had eight of them so far, according to my Untappd, and I seem to like their saisons the best, as well as their baltic porter, The Last Waltz, which I had on-site. I heard they're expanding at some point maybe soonish, and I think that calls for a return visit. If someone else drives again. read more

I wanted to like Round Guys but their beers continue to disappoint. They tend to be super bitter, to the point that it overpowers the other hops or flavors. They also tend to brew 5 or so beers that taste super similar. The mouthfeel of their beer is also very "blah". General consensus about their beer: I'll pass & try again in a year. There's too many breweries in the area that execute beers better than what they're doing at Round Guys- OH! And if you see their four packs are 3-9$ cheaper than other local breweries, trust your instincts. They're cheaper for a reason. read more

Came here for dinner when I was visiting a friend in PA. The beer is worth coming for, very good, large selection, with a range of styles. Unfortunately the food was average, I got the weird Al, the sandwich was just too dry with little flavor. My favorite beer had to be their cucumber wich was very refreshing, I could easily down these on a hot summer day. I am so happy we found this place. Great atmosphere, great food, great beer. We had made plans to meet friends at another brewery but when we found out that their beer garden was not open yet, we decided to go somewhere else. Stumbling upon Round Guys was kismet. Welllll, to be honest, we didn't really stumble; the brewery came recommended by one of my students. Lol. The selection of beers to try was great. Of the four beers that I had in my flight, I liked all of them. I ended up drinking another 2 pints of Henchman. It was so smooth and delicious. These Round Guys really know what they are doing. My pulled pork sandwich with bacon was so good, I ate all of it, which is not really unusual for me but I am just trying to impress how great the food is. My husband had the pulled pork nachos which was also very good. I highly recommend this brewery to anybody who enjoys a good craft beer. We will return. They also have events scheduled each week that look fun. We definitely plan on attending. read more

Came here a couple of weeks ago with my mom. She had been here before, but for me it was my first time. I had a Cherry Cider - which was fantastic. I'm a big Cider fan but I never step out of my comfort zone to try different flavors and I'm glad I did. We also split the cheesesteak which was gooey and the perfect size to share. Impressive! Nice interior space and patio with plenty of cocktail, wine, beer and food options. Had a great salmon tonight while the others in my group had the burger and the third, shrimp and grits. Loved the salmon, really delicious burger BUT the stop-me-in-my-tracks highlight was undoubtedly the shrimp and grits. This dish alone is worth the visit, it's that exceptional. I lived in the South and still travel to great southern food towns and cities like Charleston, Savannah, Greenville, and Atlanta regularly and the shrimp and grits at Round House were some of the best I've had anywhere. My husband and I walked in at Happy Hour. We sat at the bar. The place wasn't slammed, wasn't empty... The bartender and at least one of the four people behind the bar walked past us at least 5 times without so much as a hello, a nod, or even eye contact. So, we left. This has happened to us maybe twice before in out lives at other places. What I hate the most about it is that the lack of exchange makes us feel inferior... like we aren't sitting right.... or maybe we aren't cute enough.
