This was a hard decision for her to make but she made it feeling confident that he would get good care. In a two month period she had two no call no shows and an hour late from an aid. The first no call she let slide. The late the aid said she was staying later to make up her time. The next no call no show was the last straw. My uncle was left by himself with out his morning meds. He could not get out of his chair and had gone to the bathroom and was left sitting in his own incontinence for hours. Luckily my brother in law stopped by to visit him. He was horrified by what he walked in to. He thought at first someone was there and did nothing to help my uncle, but no one was with him. He then called my mom and let her know he was there by himself so she stopped what she was doing to go to her brothers house to be with him. My uncle has no ability anymore to call her. As he has onset dementia. So not only was he left alone for hours. He did not have his medication he needs to take consistently, he did not eat, he sat in his own incontinence, he was abandoned. My uncle is lucky to have his sister my mother to be able to be his advocate. But there are many people not so lucky. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Not to mention you can't get the corporate number. They all want to try to sweep there forthcoming under the rug. Well it is not going to happen with my uncle. To bad people don't take pride in there jobs and care about the people that pay there paychecks. You have lost us as a contributor to your paycheck. Hopefully others will see this and turn to other companies to get better care. This is a disgrace of home care. Not to mention falsifying paperwork.

Based on the price of this property, the menu and food quality should be excellent but sadly it is not. The set menu each day is filled with fats and dairy, poorly prepared, and ingredients are very low quality. As an example, what was to be an egg salad sandwich was actually left over scrambled eggs from breakfast and stale bread. Requests to add lactose free options have been ignored. If they want to attract more residents and keep the ones they have, they need to improve the food. Front desk staff is very nice and accommodating but these major issues need to be addressed.
