Apria is hands-down the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with across any industry. Their…read moreservice is a nightmare for anyone already struggling with health issues. They routinely screw up basic orders, and when equipment finally arrives, it's often old, worn out, or literally falling apart. The billing department is even worse; I constantly receive "mystery bills" that lack any itemized breakdown of what I am actually being charged for. Trying to get a straight answer from customer service is impossible, as you are passed from one agent to another with no resolution. Their lack of transparency and total disregard for patient safety is predatory. Save yourself the stress and find a different DME supplier that actually respects its customers.

Why can't I give 0 stars?…read more Apria is the worst COMPANY (not just healthcare or DME supplier) that I have EVER dealt with. They routinely screw up orders, send bills with no information about what I'm being asked to pay for, and send old and falling apart equipment (a hospital bed that they didn't include an overall height adjustment crank with.) One time, they overcharged me and kept my money as a "credit balance" and NEVER TOLD ME, until I notice while looking at my account. They sent me co-pay bills that do not tell me what the co-pay is for. Today they sent me a link to a "signed document" to download for my records. The link didn't work (telling me that I'd entered MY last name, MY date of birth and MY zip code incorrectly. Then their "customer service" representative yelled at me because I couldn't use the link correctly. She then put me in some billing call queue when I tried to get her to understand that I KNOW HOW TO USE A FREAKING LINK! Kaiser is ending their relationship with them on March 1, and I've asked my Kaiser providers (physical therapist, for one) to cancel any orders that have been placed for me with Apria and wait until the switch over to reorder equipment that I really could use SOONER. But I will NOT deal with them any longer. They are ridiculous and don't seem to give a ^%$#@ that they are a lousy company. DO NOT USE APRIA FOR YOUR NEEDS IF YOU CAN HELP IT AND IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE, I'M SORRY FOR WHAT YOU'LL GO THROUGH WITH THEM.

I have used Apria Healthcare for CPAP supplies for several years and my experience has been…read moreconsistently frustrating. I rely on CPAP equipment for sleep apnea, so these are medically necessary supplies, not optional purchases. Over the years, I have dealt with repeated incorrect orders, long hold times, constant transfers between departments, and poor customer service. My most recent experience was the final straw. I placed an out-of-pocket order for replacement CPAP headgear and immediately noticed the confirmation email showed the wrong supplies. I called right away to correct the issue before shipment and was told the order could not be corrected or canceled. Instead, I was told I would need to wait for the incorrect order to arrive, return it, then place another order and pay again for the correct supplies. I also requested to speak with a manager and was denied. In the past, I was enrolled in automatic resupply without my authorization, and my HSA card was charged for supplies I did not specifically request at that time. The most frustrating part is that customers who depend on medical equipment should not have to spend hours fighting through avoidable mistakes and billing issues just to receive the correct supplies. Based on my experience, Apria's systems and customer service processes need significant improvement.

Complaint for the office in Ceres, CA…read more 1994 Rockefeller Drive Ceres CA 95307. I am beyond disappointed and honestly shaken by how I was treated. I rely on an oxygen tank as a medically necessary, life sustaining device. On Monday, I was clearly told that my replacement oxygen tank would be delivered on Wednesday. I emphasized that I physically depend on this equipment for my health. However, when I followed up today 11/26 (Wednesday), I was suddenly told by the manager/supervisor, EFSIE M. that I was "misinformed" and that the delivery wouldn't be until Friday. This is NOT a minor delay this is a delay of essential medical equipment that I require to function safely. But what was most upsetting was the attitude of the manager, EFSIE M. She spoke to me in a condescending and dismissive tone. When I asked if I would be reimbursed for gas if I had to drive an hour each way to pick up the oxygen myself due to THEIR broken commitment, she responded sarcastically asking whether they would be reimbursed for gas if they delivered it. She even laughed during the conversation. Oxygen for a medically disabled person is not a joke. It is not optional. It is not something to be laughed about. To be transparent, I did end the call by hanging up. It was not out of disrespect, but because I personally could not continue enduring her tone and attitude especially considering that due to my oxygen dependency, speaking for extended periods is physically difficult, stressful, and frustrating. I did not want to argue or escalate tension when I was simply asking for the oxygen equipment I was promised. This situation raises serious concerns regarding ADA compliance and medical equipment provider responsibility. As a patient with medical needs, I have rights under the ADA to receive equal treatment, reasonable accommodation, and professional service without dismissiveness or harassment. The emotional stress and physical worry caused by this delay particularly with Thanksgiving occurring in between was completely avoidable. Their failure to deliver on a promised medical supply date placed me in an unsafe and vulnerable position. I truly hope the company takes this seriously, re-evaluates its customer service standards, and ensures that individuals relying on life supporting equipment are treated with dignity, urgency, and respect. I will be contacting corporate to file a direct complaint.

The front lobby does not have a receptionist. The sign on the plexiglass is to call the number. I failed to see the no knocking on the glass sign - someone looked up from their desk and pointed to the glass which had a sign says to call. The gentleman that helped me was very nice. I had a deductible and a monthly fee since it's a rental. The physical therapist or occupational therapist told us that someone from Apria would reach out to me for home delivery. I checked the website from my phone and also saw the same thing - you need to verify the patient's first and last name as well as DOB. Anyway, I was antsy and called yesterday. Call early because I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was very nice as well; explained my deductible and monthly fee, and that if I were to go, go before or after their lunch hour. I came about 3 minutes before noon. Thankfully I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. The gentleman showed me how to use the leg thingies and assemble / fold up. Gavin broke his leg in 2 places Sunday and had major surgery Monday (over 6 hours). It'll be a long road of recovery for him, but I'm thankful he's alive and ok. Just no football for at least 2 years, if ever. He should be able to walk normally in 8 months to a year, his orthopedic surgeon says.

Negative 5 stars. These people are the fricken worst to deal with! My newborn needed a bili blanket…read moreand one was provided by Kaiser shortly after discharge. She only needed it for a few nights, so after she was done with the therapy I called Apria for them to pick it up. Then the headaches started. I got one individual on the line that verified our information and they told me they would send a driver to pick it up that day.. and of course that was a lie. Two days went by and I called back again. I got another individual on the line and I asked what the status of the pick up was.. and of course she had no idea what I was talking about and she couldn't find any information in their system. I asked for a call back when she was able to find my information and get this blanket scheduled to be picked up. No call. I have called back 10 times after that and got the run around - 'oh I can't find your information, let me call you back after further digging' was the most common response and every once in a while 'I have found your information and got a pick up scheduled' - and surprise surprise that second prompt was a complete lie. I have even asked to speak to a manager about this after I got a 'oh I can't find your information' response. And of course they couldn't find my info either and they asked me to put on hold so they can do some further investigation. I asked for a call back instead.. nothing. Not even an end of day call saying, 'hey still looking into this for you'. At this point over 3 weeks have gone by and no success. Then I called back again and got this young man that immediately found my information and saw that I called in so many times regarding this that he put in a 'ticket' for a rushed pick up; he was quite confident it would be picked up that day. That was this last Wednesday and of course, nothing. I called back yesterday, Thursday and they said it would be picked up that day and it was assigned a driver but they didn't have a time and that it can be picked up as late as 11PM! And I'm sure if you're still reading this review you probably knew what happened - no pick up! I called back the next day and the operator was wondering why it wasn't picked up the day before, so she put in another rushed ticket to get it picked up. About an hour after that call it was FINALLY picked up. It doesn't surprise me that there are so many negative, 1 star reviews, with this company - I am surprised such a stellar healthcare company, like Kaiser, would choose these incompetent idiots. Apria,if you're reading this: it really isn't that hard: when someone calls in write NOTES in your CRM, follow up with your clients if you don't know the answer, and UNDER promise and OVER deliver. I've seen that this bili blanket is around $3k or more - you aren't dealing with tinker toys - you're dealing with life saving, medical equipment! Get your crap together!!!
