Got there around 11:30 am when it just opened and when we finished the line was long, so be an early bird! The German cuisine was overall enjoyable--trout toast was the best of my selection!

Pretzel French Toast
Amy C.

The pretzel French toast was incredible it was soaked in warm cinnamon sweetness, and somehow the bread stayed crunchy even after sitting in a takeout box! You can skip the chicken sandwich. It was honestly the saddest, driest sandwich I've had in a while. The chicken patty was thin and bland, with just a tiny dollop of horseradish sauce on a pile of raw red cabbage. The bun-to-meat ratio was way off, and at $25 it felt especially painful. I wouldn't order it again even if it were free.

I'll say this .. the wheat beer was absolutely outstanding. The sauerkraut and mashed potatoes were perfect as well. The bratwurst didn't quite reach authentic German level, but for the U.S., it was definitely tasty and well made. Service was excellent, food came out quickly, and the tip was well deserved. Thanks again! We'll definitely be coming back!

I love love love radhaus. Every time I bring friends they're always blown away if it's their first time. Recently my friend and I started a cycle social club--we've hosted 4 and this is an awesome post workout spot. We come ravenous, they're always incredibly accommodating, quick and Jesus in particular with the cool shades sends this over the top. Courteous, accurate and cool. Also, for the brunch menu (this part was new) the French toast was soooo good. I love gettin a little of everything and it all hits. There are a few tables outside and it's a nice and serene vibe. Large open areas, heat lamps and I fall in love with radhaus more and more every time!

Service is always fantastic. Beer always cold. Food is good. And people watching i can't get enough of. And the view is spectacular. Also having the warm heat lamps is a plus.

We came back after a while before taking our fur friend to run on the Marina Green. We did not have any reservation so we just walked in. Monday is quiet so there were many empty tables for lunch. The room was kind of chilly. So we kept our jacket the entire time of dining. Our server, Claudia, was pleasant to talk to. She gave me a sample taste of the Tab 5 beer. It reminded me of Blue Moon beer. I ordered the .3L beer and the rest just had cold glasses of water for drink. For appetizers we had the BRUSSELS SPROUTS & BACON & HAUS PRETZEL & OBATZDA. The main course arrived fast and hot when I was still eating my appetizers. We had the JÄGERSCHNITZEL, FISCH UND CHIPS, PESTO FINGERNUDLN. They were delicious. My husband gave a very generous tip. Radhaus is our to go place whenever we take our first friend to Marina Green.

Bratwurst

I didnt think I wohld like this place at all and ive never had german food ever. I got the bratwurst and it came with sauerkraut with peices of meat. Also with mashed potatos and mustard. This combo blew me away! It was so tasty and the bratwurst was so juicy and crunchy. The potatoes went really good with it and the mustard. The gravy was a little sweet which I liked and the sauerkraut had a good kick to it. Everything just worked really well together. My total was 23 for a plate which isnt bad at all. We went on a sunday around 1 right after the craft fair so it was a 20-30 minute wait. We sat by the bar with no wait needed which was nice. Waiter was really nice but took a while to get the check. Overall would come back and pretty spacey restaurant!

Had a great experience at Radhaus. The location is very convenient, right in Fort Mason, which makes it an easy stop whether you're walking along the waterfront or exploring the area. The food really stood out, especially the beet salad with goat cheese. The dressing was light and well-balanced, which I appreciated, since it didn't overpower the dish like you sometimes see. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The fish and chips were also excellent, with a generous portion of crispy fries. Definitely a satisfying plate. On top of the food, the views are hard to beat, looking out toward Sutro Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge. Great spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in some classic San Francisco scenery.

Delicious cider and mocktail!

Lunch here feels like a mini-vacation, the way the natural light pours in. It's also right on the water! The vibe is relaxed but energized with families, friends, and solo diners all soaking in the atmosphere. And then the food arrives, and suddenly it feels like you are eating in Germany! I really liked the food, and I went for the jagerschnitzel this time. Hearty and satisfying food with great portions. There's tons of parking, so that'll probably never be an issue. And the beer list is so well rounded! I was impressed.

Currywurst

Beautiful light in the space and the service was great. Very popular spot so can be pretty busy and loud, but the food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the selection of beers!

This place is amazing and the service was great! Jesus was our server and was super helpful in picking our beers and food. The pretzels were soooo good I forgot to take a picture, it's a must have. Jorge the chef was on staff and the food was amazing, I hope he work when you come. Super friendly and it was nice to sit outside with the fire pit.

Radhaus really exceeded my expectations! We visited on a Saturday evening, and got seated right away as a party of 8. The interior was spacious, with high ceilings and huge windows. We sat at a long picnic table inside, which wasn't very comfortable but got the job done. I'm not much of a beer drinker, and was excited the see there was cocktail AND mocktail section on the menu. I chose the Die Zitronenbeere mocktail, which was super tasty and refreshing. The food menu was also unexpectedly varied, and everything we tried was great. The Oysters were fresh and buttery, and my friend loved the Haus Special Pickled & Deviled Eggs. I tried a bite of the Classic Smashburger, Fingernudln (pesto gnocchi), and some fries, which were all top-notch. Overall, we had a great experience here!

The food that kept on coming out all looked amazing. Beautiful place to have Brunch at with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The service was very nice. They have outside seating so dog friendly. I do have to say that the dishes are on the sour side but that's bec it's a German restaurant. Everything tasted wonderful. If you don't want to order anything, that's fine- BUT!!! You can't skip out on the Carrot Cake!!! It was delicious!!!! Not too sweet. Perfection!

I'm allergic to sodium nitrate & sodium nitrite which are typically found in many processed meats. Does your sausage &/or bacon contain them?

hello Vicki! Our bacon does contain sodium nitrates unfortunately, but I'm glad to report our pork sausage (used in our Bratwurst entree and also our Currywurst) is nitrate-free. Hope to see you soon!

Do you have vegan sausages?

The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a place like this as it is lively but not loud, cozy but not cramped, and always buzzing with good energy, from the staff through to most of the patrons on any given night. The menu is a greatest-hits tour of German comfort food. The deviled eggs are a must to start your meal and the wienerschnitzel is my personal go‑to as it is crispy, moist, and so flavorful every time I've had it. The jägerschnitzel is another standout if you are feeling something a little lighter and saucier as it rich and savory in all the right ways, and the sausages are always banging and perfect alongside a big stein of beer. It's the kind of food that feels made for long conversations and slow sipping. What really elevates Suppenküche, though, is the people. The staff are super friendly and clearly know their stuff, always ready with a beer recommendation or a menu suggestion and the patrons tend to match that vibe; if you end up at the bar or sharing a table, which is pretty common if you come with a small group, you're likely to find yourself chatting with someone new before long. There's honestly no better way to make new friends in SF than bonding over schnitzel and a great German beer at Suppenküche.
