Do not use. Completely unethical and will bill you for extra services without warning. Then you have to go hunting for the phone number to argue, wait for 20-30 minutes on hold and of course hit exactly the right numbers on their phone tree. I clearly gave them instructions on when to pick up a roll-off, they instead came to my locked location before 6am, called me and then charged me for a return visit when I didn't answer. WM, there are other reviews here noting you refuse to comply with requests or instructions that customers leave you. Clearly you don't care about customer service. So I have lived here on S. Smith St. for over 2 years. All that time organics truck does not come by this Street. Have to always call for them to pick up. I just dont understand why not. They drive on Guadalupe and all you have to do is look and see if any green cans are out. We are only a block long lol. Got over it though. Now the drivers where do they get them? One almost t-boned me off of Brazos St. The worst part was he was looking at me and seemed like he waited cause he turned into while I was passing him at a stop sign. Lucky for my superb driving and no one was coming on the other side plus my only vehicle else I would be driving something new lol. Horrible service! Trash cans were down at the street before the truck came by. They happened to see husband putting them out and refused to pick up because it was after 7am!!! So my trash is going to be putrid and maggot infested by next Friday. Really???? You were right there and REFUSE to pick It up!! Horrible lazy people. read more

Trash company, that is their motto. I wonder if all the extra charges they add to your bill is because they keep loosing customers to shitty service. Use any other trash pick up company. These guys suck. They can't receive instructions over the phone, they are unorganized, they are super expensive, and they ruin infrastructure where ever they get the chance. Huge green arches driving all over town. Every time I call I get treated like crap and then they call me from new Braunfels about once a week asking how great they are doing. Bagster from Home Depot. I posted a review on the Home Depot website stating that the Bagster was good except it was difficult to get a hold of WM so I wouldn't be using it again. Home depot rejected that review which I think is a disservice to people who might be considering using the Bagster instead of a dumpster because you can buy the bag but it still needs to be picked up. I got a bagster then scheduled a pickup online. I got an email saying that pickup would be Monday so I set out the bagster. Strangers came by and looked through our bagster all day. The NEXT morning, I got an email that the bag would be picked up Tuesday, so we had ANOTHER day of strangers in front of our house. I called customer service, who said yes the bag was scheduled to be picked up today. I didn't get an email until LATE in the evening saying that they couldn't pick up on Tuesday but would pick up on Wed. I email WM and no apologies, no type of customer service at all. I wrote a long email saying that I wanted to speak to a supervisor. The reply that I got to my long email was " The bag is scheduled to be picked up today." That was it. No one even bothered to apologize or address the issues. I can understand if WM got busy Monday, but then my bag should have been picked up on Tuesday. I can understand if they said they would not pick it up until Wed because then I wouldn't put it out till Wed and I wouldn't have people digging through the bag but at least be honest and say they won't pick up until the last business day. I would not use this service again because there is zero customer service here. I will stick with Bin There Dump That who actually show up when they say they will. read more

I have been a Waste Management Customer for over 30 years and have always been satisfied with their service and amount charged for their service. Their service charge went up over $8. from last pay period. I called and they are now charging an environmental charge which should be included in their basic charge. I will be looking to change my garbage pick up to another company soon! read more

They missed picking up the recyclables this week, I called the same day as soon as I notice the full bin outside, they said they will send someone to get it, that was Wednesday, well it is 8:42 PM, Saturday 10/04/14, and that thing it is still outside. I called several times and sent them at least 3 e-mails, nothing helps they just do not care, I called to complain, no one called or did anything. I pay every month, I just received the new bill, and if I do not pay on time there is a charge. I think one star it is too high a rate for their service. read more

Terrible and expensive service. I live out of city limits, so was paying over $100 per month, and they don't even offer recycling. Not to mention they tore up my lawn many times. I called and called for resolution, and they "escalated" my request to yet another person who didn't follow up. And they continued to drive their trucks right up onto my grass. Fortunately I was able to switch trash companies to another who charges less than 1/3 the price. It can't possibly be any worse than WM. read more

Service is absolutely horrible!!! Inexperienced drivers....they damaged personal property and did not have any remorse or anything for the damage they did. Have to wait at least 3 weeks to even get a possible estimate to fix what was damaged. Their prices are outrageous! They don't come out to pick up trash as promised they come whenever they want to. Salesman claims he has made numerous attempts to contact us but we have never received a phone call nor has he shown up to see if he could sit down with us to talk. Very rude drivers and sales people that work there. I would not suggest going to them for your trash service. Way better companies in the San Antonio area. read more
