    We are not accepting small mobile jobs at this time do to the overwhelming amount of jobs currently on our schedule. We may can get you vehicle into our shop for repairs around mid august.

I ordered a new one online but after weeks of failed attempts from me and many of my friends and neighbors we were unable to get it on. I drove by Silvers and explained my situation and they immediately made the repair. They would not accept payment and simply said they were glad to help! A few months ago my uncle side swiped my car and I was in need of professional help again so I went straight to them. They did the repairs necessary for a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. My car was new again! Unfortunately my drivers door had leakage problems with all this rain and we discovered the gasket around the door had come detached and they fixed it the moment I appeared at their business. They apologized for the problem and asked me to call back the next week to make sure no further leaks happened. The next week it started to leak again. Evidently my fancy, smart entry keyless Honda, had this weird electrical system that caused the car alarm to go off after a hard rain when it leaked. I had to replace my battery and tarp the car until I could get by again for them to look at my problem. They checked into it again and discovered the roof rack had shifted and allowed water to get in and set the alarm off after soaking the floor board. This was not caused by their repairs or the door gasket, but they smiled and repositioned the rack but did not charge me. Who would have believed that within a week I was up at midnight, after the rain, disconnecting my battery and covering my car with a tarp again. The floor board was soaked and I was furious! Only in 2020 could this really be happening. I brought them my car and they politely agreed to take a look again. Well this time they brilliantly discovered my sunroof drains had clogged causing the backed up rain water to drain into my car. I was skeptical but they convinced me they were certain and once again did not charge me for their work! Needless to say the clogged sunroof had nothing to do the original repairs! It has rained several times since then and no leak, no car alarm and no wet floor board! These guys are true gentlemen and great car body specialists! They are knowledgeable, professional, and kind. SILVERS AUTO SERVICE is what makes authentic Ashevillians, their team has reminded me that there are still good humans in this world, in this country, in this state, and in this town (even in my neighborhood)! My experience couldn't have been more excellent. I was greeted in a very friendly, professional way. It became clear very quickly that Ronnie is an expert in his field. He knew very quickly how to handle my repair and exactly what was needed. He did the most perfect, thorough job to repair all the damage to my car. Also, he is very honest with great integrity. I was…read moreinvolved in a hit and run and I took my vehicle there to get an estimate trying to not involve Insurance and the estimator, Doug, stopped the estimate at $7500 and told me the vehicle was totaled out they don't work on totals and recommended I file a claim with my insurance company. I filed a claim with my insurance company and they quoted me significantly less... $1300 after multiple phone calls trying to figure out what the heck the differences were I was told to bring the vehicle back in and the difference would then go to the insurance company, and if the vehicle was still totaled out, the insurance company would guide me on what to do and I would be able to take the vehicle back without being forced to repair it. The insurance company told me I could decline repairs! So I do that. I tell them at the drop off that I want the vehicle back and it does not have to be repaired, and I was then given an update after hours several days later that the vehicle was being repaired and not totaled out that the estimator gave me a different estimate saying that it had to be repaired and they technician did not think replacement was necessary. I never ever ever would've filed an insurance claim had this been the case because now I am not only out of pocket my deductible. I never the manager, Wes, to stop the repairs and give me my car back. He said I signed a paper saying it was to be repaired. My fault as I didn't read all of the fine lines and simply TRUSTED Doug and the business. I am out of pocket for multiple weeks rental since it was a hit-and-run rental reimbursement was not covered and the manager, Wes, continued to try and make me feel as if I was crazy. He told me that I was changing my story each time because I did not tell him from the beginning I couldn't afford the deductible where my personal finances didn't need to be discussed. Nor should that have mattered. I asked for him to speak with the estimator and get back with me and he never got back with me admitted that he didn't get back with me and then when I asked if he was willing to meet me halfway and take $250 off for the deductible, he insulted me by saying why would he do something like that because I signed a piece of paper even though he 100% knows that HIS estimator misquoted me. Wes was not willing to help the customer. He was willing to defend Doug the estimator who admitted he told me to file the insurance claim because the vehicle was going to be totaled out. Worst customer experience of my life. Spread the word these are not local people trying to help locals in this economy. They don't care about you at all.

The cost was on par with the estimate and in line with what others had suggested cost would be. Thanks and I do recommend this location if you need service or body shop work.
