There's a dog at the bar and as I walked in the door, they were escorting a cat outside of the bar. Now we all know the restrictions of having a liquor license. It's very unsanitary. They're not service animals and were not presented as such when I asked. @$8 for a Jack and 7 it's ridiculous! I asked for a brandy and seven which they said they don't have brandy so I asked for a jack and Sprite. She grabbed a tall glass and I asked for a short so she gave me a glass that they call a shot glass in here. It was a 4 ounce glass and when she started a pour, she said she could only fit half the liquor in it with a little bit of Sprite to give me where I asked for what would cost me the same price. I asked her then to put it in a tall glass and just don't put as much spray. She did, but it still tasted like a normal mixed drink with a lot of Sprite at eight dollars in a dive bar at 7:15 pm. She didn't want to agree anything of what I was saying for accommodate me with the lack of liquor in the drink. She explained that the bar was just taken over a couple years ago so it's changed. Probably might have. It's the same disgusting floor, ceiling, bathrooms, and moldy ceiling tiles as always!

It's an actual taproom and beer garden but what makes this unique is that it's a self pour taproom which I've always wanted to try You simply walk in, go to front desk, leave a card on file and you are given a wristband. You will see a wall with taps with 18 taps for beer from light to dark beers. You simply tap the wristband on the screen for the beer you want and pour. The tap will calculate how much you pour (it goes by ounces) so you can pour a full pint or 2 oz if you so wish. Once your done you return the wristband and it will add up the total and you can charge it to the card they have on file, which is a heat concept Also the artwork and murals are so original they instantly make you want to look. In addition to the beer taps there are additional taps around the corner to pour wines and seltzers for the non-beer drinkers which is also nice They have a taco food truck outside which I didn't try as I had dinner reservations later that night Definitely recommend this spot if ever in the area

After walking around the City Place, we got to rest a little at this fun, trendy Taproom. I am not new to this concept, but of all the locations that utilizes the tap and go method, this has to be my favorite location. They have ample seating inside and outside, a loft area with more seating, and a food truck outside. There's a parking lot, street parking and if need be, a parking garage not far. They have board games and a cute vending machine that sells local art. There's sustainable decor and thrifted furniture. And when you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly face and your eye immediately dart at the beautiful WPB mural. There's nothing I disliked about this place. It's even cool that you get to purchase some beers to take home if you like what you tried. Next time I come, I want to come with a group of friends... it'll be worth the drive!

When I approached them to see what the issue was, I was threatened physically by the man arguing with my girl, and told her had his "boy: there to back him up. Soon after this, even though I didn't lay a hand on anyone, I get physically pushed and prodded by the owner/ manager himself, Jeremy. I simply asked what the problem was and got a swift dose of disrespect. As I stated, I never got physical with anyone there and to be treated like this by the owner is just disgusting. I spoke with him briefly after everyone had calmed down and the idiots had left the bar. The owner seemed to have no remorse, and no justification for what he did to me. I really should have made a case out of this and pressed formal charges. I'm sure their security cameras captured the entire scene, and they would tell the tale exactly the same. I chose not to get physical with anyone since it was obvious the owner had taken their side over mine, and it was the right thing to do by just leaving at that point. Instead I will not honor them with my business any more, after almost 20 years of being a customer of theirs. I also will not support the owner's other business, Elmo's Rock Bar in Boynton Beach, who I had supported since they opened.
