I can't think of any holidays we have spent without coming to India Bar and Grill! This is absolutely my favorite Indian restaurant in the south Florida area! Not only is the food THE BEST, but the service and presentation of the food is equally outstanding! If you are on the hunt for some very flavorful food that still upholds high quality, standards, and freshness, India bar and grill is where it's at! I still remember the first time I ever came to this restaurant. India Bar and Grill definitely fits the situation of "Don't judge a book by its cover." Although the outside of the building has a more casual atmosphere, the interior and service matches that of a very upscale/Fine dining restaurant. We have always been treated with the utmost hospitality and respect every time we came here! The owner Soy is always so welcoming, accommodating, and friendly! He is an absolute pleasure to work with! They also do a phenomenal job as caterers! If you are looking for someone to cater your next event or wedding, this is place for you! The food is a solid 6/5! Everything from their vegetarian/Non-vegetarian dishes all the way their desserts and drinks are all amazing! This was hands down one of the best lunches I've ever had. Every single dish was a hit. The chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The saagwala had such a deep, savory flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, and the naan was warm, soft, and absolutely addictive. We have been wanting to try this restaurant because my husband has always wanted to try the Onion Bhaji (appetizer) and it was the only place he could find near by that had it on the menu! So of course, that's what we started with and it was so good! The sauces/chutney it came with were perfect with it. We also ordered a side of Bullet Naan (jalapeno) - Our server warned us that it was going to be spicy... but wow did we underestimate that! Still, as we struggled to not breath fire, it had such good flavor and we couldn't stop eating it! (I then ordered some garlic naan to cool off haha) Our curries were SO good. The chicken was perfect and the curry itself - wow such great flavor! I had never had it before and it will now be my go to! The chicken tikka masala had a nice rich flavor; however, the sweetness of the gravy slightly overpowered the tanginess and spiciness even though we asked for a hot spice level. The chicken tikka masala includes basmati rice which we substituted for sautéed vegetables which were unfortunately very bland. We also ordered the goat biriyani with spice level of Indian hot which was definitely appropriate. The goat was cooked perfectly and the rice was so flavorful. My only critique was the inclusion of raisins and cashews. Personally, I prefer my biriyani without those two added as they take away from the dish. read more

I started off my meal with the chai and the dosa bites. It was my first time having chai and it was mind blowing, I will be getting it every time I go! The dosa bites are always amazing, fresh and crispy. I shared the butter chicken with my table and it was hot and delicious, along with a side of masala fries and naan. The masala fries were perfectly seasoned and had a great sauce under them. The service is just as amazing as the food. My family and I live several miles to the east of the restaurant, so it's a bit of a trip to get to the India Grill and Bar, but, we wanted to try a different Indian cuisine for dinner last night. We ended up ordering take out. We scheduled the pickup for 7:00 p.m. and ordered a bit more than we had initially intended, thinking of wanting leftovers. Having lived in India for a number of years, we are very familiar with the cuisine and enjoy it a great deal. The take out was ready exactly as scheduled. I simply walked in and was greeted by a server walking to the host station with our order and handed our food. The food was really very good. We ordered Tandoori chicken, chicken Korma and Madras chicken, Kashmiri and Garlic naan, and channa masala. Everything was delicious. Even after the drive home, the food was hot, well-labeled and neatly organized. We ordered two orders of the Tandoori chicken since it was the subject of a two-for-one special (though the price was a bit higher than on the regular menu). The idea was we ordered enough to have leftovers. We are very grateful that we did. The leftovers are great to have and we are still enjoying the food today. (We should have ordered one or two more orders of the Kashmiri naan. The single order was gone instantly last night...) I highly recommend the India Grill and Bar. It's food is terrific, the order was handled perfectly, and it was well worth the drive to get great Indian cuisine! read more

Arriving for dinner, we immediately saw a curry leaf plant out front. Walking into India Grill, we noticed the ambiance was nice and fun. We glanced over the easy menu and ordered right away. Food came out within 15 mins and we devoured the entire table excitedly because the flavors were damn delicious. We explore every city's Indian reataurants, and this one is easily top 3. He is a complete jerk, was indifferent to us and laughed at our complaints!! We were very upset at this point and asked to a speak with someone else. SOYE T. said to us, he is the owner, honestly none of us believed him. Owners take pride in their work and establishment.
