Sunset view--the other side is the beach & water.

If this place would charge for the view you may not be able to afford it. A good variety of foods and drinks on the menu. I'd come here again.

    Beef dip with fries

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view of Davis Bay. Service was good but be prepared to wait for your food. Rating would increase with a few improvements to the food: fresher fish (the fried cod for the burger had a strong fishy taste and needed a bit more seasoning), corn chips for the falafel plate were disappointing. Chips were very plain and slightly stale. If I he plate had come with toasted pita or pita chips it would have been lovely. The beef dip also needed a bit more meat. One highlight was their french fries. Crispy, well seasoned and not greasy at all.

Poke bowl -- looks nice but didn't have as much in it as I'd hoped.

Came here twice in 1 week, not so much by choice but for lack of a better restaurant to eat at on a Sunday evening in Sechelt... Needless to say, the highlight of this place is its location -- you literally watch the sunset as you eat. And the good thing is that the patio umbrellas can be slanted to block most of the in-the-face sun. That aside, the menu is somewhat scant in options. I first tried the poke bowl, which was rather small and disappointing for its price. The second time around I got the sockeye main, which I actually quite liked with the roasted veggies...but it was $25. My friend got the "fresh" mussels and didn't think they were fresh (the waitress said they're all the way from PEI, which we couldn't quite understand considering we're right on the coast...). All that said, considering the limited options in this rural setting, I might still come back.

Cheesecake parfait to go. Delicious. Pretty decadent so can easily share between two

My favorite spot in the area. Always consistent and good service. Not many options in the town but they won't disappoint.

My only complaint is that all the seats are hard as a rock. Good food and service at a reasonable price.

Starting with the buffet, it was vast with varieties of breads, live omelet counter, a chocolate fountain (every kid's AND adult's dream breakfast item!), fruits, roasted veggies, pancakes, salad bar, hummus, even dumplings! mini burritos, the quintessential sausage, eggs, pastries etc. The spinach feta danish and the mini burrito really stood out The quantity was awesome, taste was good too although I would not say top notch. Coming to the skillet breakfast in lieu of the buffet contained, eggs, potatoes, beautifully buttered and toasted sourdough, tomato, hashbrown, avocado, chicken sausage, chocolate croissant, latte, all of which was awesome with the exception of the sausage which was average. The quantity of the food was not a lot since we were hungry within hours whereas the buffet food was so much that we did not need to eat till dinner! The service was top notch, great ambience with the mountain view, a fireplace, pretty seating.

A tad disappointed, the bartender was quick to cheer me up with a one (with baileys and kahlua of course). The presentation and taste were amazing. I'll be dreaming about it on cold days. We had a few other drinks and all were exceptional. The staff was very attentive ensuring we had snacks, waters, and were happy with our drinks. We will definitely make this an annual stop when coming to Whistler. Highly recommend.

We had a blast as the big restaurant with all its amenities was all ours. 1. The seating is huge with two floors. Lounges , dinning tables and what not. 2. Second it has live dj and the pub is open late on weekends for dj parties 3. Food and service is excellent. We not only enjoyed the food but played a good match of table tennis. There is a big section dedicated to games as well. I am setting this place as my go to and for sure one of my events will take place here.

Oak is part of the JRG fam, which i find hit or miss. I'm a big fan of Livelyhood in port moody (i think they have a great chef cuz the food is usually pretty good). I went to celebrate my nephews 8th birthday there (he said his reasoning was cuz they had good breakfast, and he could watch the hockey game). It was during happy hour so there are some cheaper options. I decided to get 1 corn dog ($4), and the pretzel ($6). When they server came with the food she was like "they accidentally made you 3 corn dog". well hey i'm not complaining! The pretzel arrived and looked ROUGH. i could tell it was going to be awful, i had a few bites and was not having it, it was dry, no salt or seasoning and the dip only worked for the corn dogs. I really enjoyed the corn dogs, they were fresh and tasty! I ended up letting the server know i was not happy with the pretzel and that it was dry and very bland. I usually have decent experiences here, the service is good, nice layout and the food is decent, but this pretzel was rough. She was really nice about my feedback and when my bill came, it was only $4. Thankfully she had taken the pretzel off my bill and was super super nice about it. Shoutout to Breanne! Maybe it's time to switch up the pretzel recipe but all in all, oak is a decent place if you're looking for pub food in langley. I prefer it over townhall for some reason.
