a meal of rice, beans, and broccoli

We've been having some cravings for Chinese food so we decided to grab take out here. We ordered via phone and they said our order would be ready in 10 minutes. They're not real talkative, but they were fast and the food was priced right. I ordered a large egg drop soup and my husband ordered a general tso's chicken which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. We also got an order of crab Rangoon. Everything tasted just as expected. This location is pretty standard compared to other Chinese restaurants. The location is great, as it has plenty of parking and is anchored by a Food lion in the Riverwood Plaza.

Please dont support a business that treats a customer with 0 respect. The lady at the counter doesn't speak English, is extremely annoyed by having to talk to me and, to be honest, just has some type of an attitude. Sanitation is at 90.5 which seems a bit alarming. The food was alright, at least, little greasy. The rice tasted good but kung po chicken's veggies seemed out of date. Bland, strange tasting. Sesame chicken was large in quantity, drowned in sweet sauce and very greasy. It's not about the food, I usually give restaurants some slack (not expecting fine dining everywhere I go). HOWEVER, rude and lacking customer service that doesn't understand that we as consumers are paying their salaries is mind boggling and should not be accepted in this day and age. I do not recommend this restaurant unless you want to bring a translator with you and a chill pill for dealing with their personnel.

Really nice little Chinese place that serves some good food. The staff is friendly and the price isn't all that bad either.

I came right before a show at the Alamo Drafthouse around the corner, which makes it the perfect night out for dinner and show. It looks like a lot of people order takeout here, but they have ample tables and do offer an excellent dine in service. I loved their green beans and eggplant. All their food felt more authentic and homestyle than your typical run of the mill Chinese place. The food had flavor, and it wasn't overly greasy either! I'll definitely come back next time in near north Raleigh.

I ordered the lo mein, bamboo flounder fish, and a side of fried rice. Unfortunately, the lo mein was extremely greasy, the fried rice was overly salty, and the shrimp was hard, overcooked and not fresh. When I informed the waiter that I would not be eating the lo mein due to its condition, I was told that I would still have to pay for it and that it did not matter whether I liked it or not. He initially refused to remove the dish from my bill. After eventually taking it off, he told me that he never wanted to see my face again as I was leaving. What disappoints me most is that I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant and had been a repeat customer. The decline in food quality combined with the way my concerns were handled has left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
