Me and my family would come to this exact location years ago in 2010. Unfortunately the original owners left and a new crew came in, wasn't very good so we steered away. But just recently (a few months ago) we decided to try again. Kitchen crew is new and its under different management (or so it seems) because the food was PHENOMENAL!!! I love to eat here. Phan is the nicest person that has ever served me at your establishment. It makes me sad when someone else comes to the window. She always jokes with me about my sauces because I sometimes change depending on what I get. I was getting mustard sauce but decided it was too hot. She still asks me if I want it this time because she wants to make sure she pleases me. I say, "No, it's too hot," and we both laugh. There are days I'm feeling down or had a bad day, and I go there just to get my happy fix from Phan. She always has a big smile on her face and greets me like I'm her best friend. I'm glad you now have the new lunch combos because I'm living on a small Social Security check, but I get two meals out of an order because the servings are huge. It helps me to afford an extra day a week to come get Chinese food and say hi to Phan. I eat there 2 or 3 times a week (or more). She is always hopping from the front desk, to the window, to the kitchen, to the register. She wants to make sure everyone is getting served as quickly as possible. I never have to ask for soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, a fork, and napkin. At other to go places, I get really annoyed, having to ask for every little thing. But Phan makes sure it's all in the bag for me without having to ask. She wraps the bag nicely so the food doesn't spill and it is easy to get into because she doesn't tie it in a knot like others do. And it's fun finding a couple of cookies to see what my fortune will be. I can't believe how many bad reviews are on here. I think people are getting this location mixed up with Edgebrook because it truly is God awful food, nasty environment, slopped in the box, and leaking everywhere. It used to be good years ago, but they closed for a while, and it has been terrible ever since they reopened. Everyone tells me how horrible it is. I do notice most of them are from several years ago. That's another reason I know it can't be Phan. As far as service is concerned, those ugly comments cannot be about Phan!!!! She is the most pleasing person ever to work a to go window. I always leave her a $2 tip to show my appreciation for her going the extra mile. I never tip in the to go lines at other places. If it weren't for Phan with her infectious smile and pleasing personality, I probably would only eat there once every week or two. I think you need to show the Fuqua address for this location. It is very confusing that it says Ellington. I had a hard time finding it. I suspect that's why you have these strange reviews about the lady at the window. Some people just can't be pleased, but I know for sure there is no way Phan would have an attitude with anyone. She is a very hard and dedicated worker and never has an u kind word to say to anyone. I have eaten inside several times and watched her interact with other customers and she is very personable and professional. I rarely ask for something special but when I do she always accommodates me and the next time asks if I liked how they made it. I don't know what she makes but I bet she deserves a raise! The food was great! Great and friendly customer service as usual! The orange chicken was on the more savory side than sweet, which was new for me, but I loved the change and I loved the food. Everything was packed neatly and HOT! I went up to McDonalds to get a drink before coming back home, my food was still hot!! I usually go to the Chinese place on Blackhawk, but I sometimes go here just for convenience. I was very impressed and I'll be coming here from now on. Every-time I come they seem to improve. Either with packaging, the look of the restaurant, the recipes, the online ordering process, etc. They also send menus to the surrounding complexes, great footwork! Called in a pick up order. Order was ready in 10 minutes. Food was hot and decent for this type restaurant. The lady at the drive thru asked if I would like a menu, I said yes. Picked up my food with no problems. Beef & broccoli are pretty good, the beef is low grade meat, however I wouldn't complain about it, due to the price of the food. I would love to give this a 5 star! Best fast Chinese food ever! Always satisfied. I love to go here all the time maybe 3x a week :) why I'm getting disappointed is the customer service it's provided by the old lady who does drive through she have so much attitude and the way she is. 1) my dollar had a little ripped so she didn't want to take it then I gave her a good one then gives me a split dollar and I just smile and said "that's funny" 2) when I ask her if I can have a sour sauce because I didn't see it. Going to keep this short but as of today I really have a big issue with the lady at the window in drive through . Not sure what her issue is ; typically in drive thrus we don't tip . So glad this place has been reopened! Went to check out the food with new people just opening it back up and was very pleased. My husband had the shrimp fried rice and really enjoyed it. I had the shrimp chow mein with fried rice. My meal was wonderful. It had great flavor and their portions are very generous. They also were quite generous with the shrimp in both our meals. Our friend had the broccoli beef and was very pleased with it. He said his was enough food for 3 meals for him. We definitely had enough leftovers for another meal. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes. We will definitely be repeat customers and I highly recommend trying them out. Drove by there on night and decided to go there on a whim. Ordered the: Hot and Sour Soup (very good with a good little kick of spice, fresh mushrooms were used and the vegetables were crunchy). Moo Goo Gai Pan (chicken cooked perfectly, flavorful and tender, vegetables very crunchy). Beef with Broccoli (beef a little on the tough and dry side, indicating either overcooked or using a tough cut of beef, flavor good, broccoli was cooked perfectly). Chicken Wings with Fried Rice (chicken wings were the party cut, fried perfectly, good seasoning, fried rice was good). Overall a good place to go. Will get another beef dish in the future to determine if the beef is going to be good. Will go again. read more

So I approach the counter and told her I had an online order. She told me my total of $50 and looked at the receipt, I assumed to see if I gave a tip and slammed the pen down !! I waited 15 minutes extra, she never had the common courtesy to tell me my sushi was being prepared. when the order was complete, she gave me my food with the faintest "thank you" I've ever heard!! Come in, walk to the counter, order your food, have a seat, and your food is fresh and hot in front of you in less than 5 minutes. You can also opt for the drive-thru or take-out if you plan on eating elsewhere.
