Shrimp lo mein and cheese rangoons

10/10 recommend Qing Qing! I understand how there aren't many pictures of the food. We forgot to take a picture until we were already more than halfway through. We ordered an egg drop soup, chicken lo mein, and cheese rangoons. Everything came out super fresh and hot. The chef accidentally made shrimp instead of chicken lo mein, so they asked if we were okay with that. Of course we were okay with the nice meat upgrade! They also kindly charged us for the cheaper chicken option instead. Everything came out fast and the staff was so nice. We will be visiting again!

Usually visit the one in Texas City, but was hungry and in area. Drinks tasted and smelled funny, I think it was the ice plus the machine was out of order . Coke tasted like I had licked a metal pipe . So she gave me a can which I appreciate. Overall my spicy chicken was spicy, but my soup was awesome, egg roll could have stayed in back fried kinda hard and not as tasty.

Not good at all. The sauce tasted like it was old and going bad. I tried a couple of things but none of them were good

Every was good EXCEPT the coconut chicken. It's like they poured coco Lopez over fried chicken bits...barf.

Pretty decent takeout Chinese. The Singaporean noodles had a good curry taste but was a touch salty for my taste buds.

The restaurant must be preparing pre made food, the chicken was more like white colored meat, veggies were greasy and rice tasted reheated.

After countless times coming, I've been meaning to make a review about this place. Everything in…read moretheir menu is something great, with some of my personal favorites being the Homestyle Trio with Eggplant, their Mapo Tofu (off menu, no gatekeeping), their Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup (a wee too spicy for me personally, but I love the simplicity of it), and the General Tso's Chicken. The eggplant dish mentioned is very rich and flavorful, with the eggplant cooked to be soft and almost mushy (but in a good way), nicely complimented by particularly the beef. Their lo mein is a little watery on various occasions, but still maintains a great and very nice flavor. Their fried rice is one of my favorites in the area and is always very well made no matter the time of day. The fried chicken wings, crab puffs, and crab bomber appetizers are both just such standouts in what is often an overlooked part of the menu by many restaurants. I have nothing but praise about how this place handles food. The staff is all really nice and welcoming from entrance to walking out the door. They are very good with order additions or food/allergy restrictions and the dishes always come out in a timely (but not rushed) manner, no matter whether it is a weekday morning or a busy dinner crowd. I'd recommend the lunch special for anyone coming around that time, as the deal of egg rolls, soup, and an entree or 2-3 sushi rolls for a low price is a steal. The ambiance nice for sure and the tables are clean, though I do sometimes get disoriented by the wallpaper they use (I think it's just me though). Whenever this place first opened, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. Meals were salt with a side of meat and rice and was just overall underwhelming. But now, it is one of my family's go to places whenever we need quality food in a short distance. Definitely worth a try, even over other restaurants in the area that serve a similar menu.

We started with the Pan‑Fried Pork Dumplings, delicious and surprisingly filling. For mains, we ordered the House Special Lo Mein and a Lunch Special that came with egg drop soup, fried rice, Szechuan shredded beef, and an egg roll. The soup was flavorful, thick, and nicely eggy. The fried rice was good, and the beef was tender and savory. The egg roll was also really good. The House Special Lo Mein, though, wasn't our favorite. The texture felt off, and the meat was colder than the noodles, so we couldn't really eat it. For a Chinese restaurant, the House Lo Mein is an important dish to get right. Overall, some hits and some misses.

The (pork) egg rolls here taste like they were rolled in-house, which is a huge deal for me, but they are small. I prefer egg rolls that are plump and stuffed to the gills. The boiled dumplings here are a no-go. They tasted more like an afterthought, and that could be because we have so many places around here that specialize in dumplings. And the crispy pork with garlic flavor, while decent, was paper thin. Indeed it was crispy, and it had garlic flavor. But the pork was barely there. On the flip side, the crispy eggplant is divine. We've ordered it twice, and both times we have been wowed over the consistency and garlicky flavor of the sauce. The hot & sour soup here is also good, though (as I usually do), I added chile oil. Finally, though this place boasts that it specializes in Sichuan, they also do a pretty good job with Shanghai soup dumplings. Further -- and I've eaten soup dumplings at dozens of spots between Houston and NYC -- Spicy Banda is the ONLY joint that has warned me that the soup dumplings aren't as good when they're ordered to-go. That's integrity, and it is much appreciated. As an aside, I knew what to expect with a to-go order of soup dumplings, and they tasted just fine.
